Smoky - spicy - woody
You don't wear Interlude, you wear an armor! Interlude has the most unusual performance on skin, on fabric, even simply in the air! Coarse and extremely loud in projection and full-bodied in ingredients to the point that one barely would deeply fall in love. It is also the very definition of extremism in perfumery. I'm so glad that Amouage diluted this monstrous incense spice combination cause it has much better and softer tenacity now with magnet cap. In general Interlude is a dry fragrance, dry as desert, with severe smoky spicy aspects, woody base and leather profile. Messy loud complex monster.

Woody - earthy - green
A crisp, decent, neat and weightless woody fragrance with precise amount of earthiness to woo without being vulgar. This is by far one of the best tributes to vetiver.

Green peppery citrus opening solves in a slightly pharmaceutical vetiver that gives you goosebump if you're fond of this extremely earthy note: an accord of vetiver composed of several notes to bring a complex impression in simplest way. "Less is more" in olfactory definitions.

Musky - warm animalic - floral
Fans of quintessential musk fragrances take note, this is a the definition of musk in its classic shape. A solid deer musky smell with brutal aspects in the opening, allies with warmth of ylang-ylang and a pale yet consistent presence of citrus notes. Original Musk is deeply floral but for the bulky volume of skanky divinity of musk all the elements are doomed submerge! Regardless to anything, the dry out is absolutely in the sky.

Dark balsamic - dry resinous - animalic
The strategy of replicating renown without hesitation has become ethic of contemporary perfume trend. God bless Alessandro Gualtieri for opening a path mediocre noses could not even imagine. Yes, Black Oud is just another tribute to Black Afgano (probably made by Sonia Constant again) and nothing new to it. Interesting part is the only favor this replicators do is more volume of liquid in return to the same price. I'm not a fan of BA but if want to pick, I pick BA not these losers.

Fruity - violet - woody
In search of ultimate classics I met this timeless jewel of perfumery that was an extreme avant-garde in its time.
A fruity top composed of cantaloupe and juicy mandarin invites pepper and coriander, which both give birth to a plush floral heart of violet, rose and jasmine. The dry down is ornamented with plum, leather and cedar.
