To begin with: Great scent!!!

I have the original
"Oud for Greatness" as well as the Dua Dupe
"Shadow Play" and just this one.
So this here is going to be a little comparison of the 3, almost same smelling fragrances.
Let's start with the original.

The Initio is in my opinion, the, with the best balance of H / S.
You can always wear this one, as it finds the perfect middle.
With it also everything is said.
Fragrance - H/S - Flacon : 10 - 9/8 - 10

Shadow Play: Here is the fragrance, mMn. identical to the Oud for Greatness. Both develop really 99.9% the same.
The Shadow Play and this is absolutely a matter of taste: 1x spraying is like 2x spraying with the Oud for Greatness.
This one really has a lot more power. I like it very much. But for me he is then e.g. less suitable for an office.

Now to the end - Oud for Glory:
This one also smells the same as the two before it. For me, the difference lies in the opening and the Enwticklung to the Drydown. He remains very linear.
But at about 50 euros for 100ml is also totally OK.
Here and there I've read or heard on Youtube that it should be a "Beast".
I do not see so. He is just very pleasant, but does not quite come close to the other two.

Flacon: No idea if it deserves an 8, because there are a few minimal flaws, but in itself the packaging as well as the flacon seems totally OK.
For copying it should then probably only get a 1, but everyone can decide for themselves.

I personally love all 3.
Each, although "the same fragrance" has its application with me.

Far too often, I've read the last few days and rather weeks something about this fragrance.
Each time anew I wanted to know what now waits for me, I should get him times in the fingers.

Thanks to an outstandingly fast delivery of "Memento", so as with the colleague who has written the review below me, I may now sit here and "challenge" my nose.

Absolutely excited and excited I have opened the envelope and distributed 2 sprays on my wrist.

Expected I have after all the reviews an incredibly heavy fragrance. But how exactly that should be, I was not clear and now I'm much more surprised by what I have there on the wrist.

In the first few minutes, the main component of the smell was: gasoline, plus rose and oud. But gasoline above all.
No problem for me, is also exciting times.

After a few minutes, let's say so about 20, the gasoline gives way and the fragrance notes come to light which are actually in the description + Oriental.
I thought to myself then: that resembles but already something to the fragrance
Montale - Fantastic Oud.
So off to the bathroom and a splash of the just mentioned on the other arm.
Somehow I find, I have not quite wrong with the comparison. Both have this oriental in the DNA. Nevertheless, the Montale is still a tick more oriental and in comparison then "fresher".
The Montale find I class, so much can be said in advance: The Louis so also.

I can absolutely understand why this is a unisex fragrance. I personally smell the "feminine". Stays with rose in the fragrance but probably not that I feel it so. I wonder if I could imagine a woman wearing this scent though: Yep. Would I find class, that to experience.

This gasoline mentioned at the beginning, but has remained, although not dominant, but with the nose very close to the arm, you notice it.
What can I say, at the beginning I thought: really..., funny..., exciting!
But now I think: Already Geil, crazy combination.

A 10/10 I do not want to give that, but he smells for me so Special, that I really notice when sniffing as it rises in my head. Have actually got a little headache.
As negative that may sound now, I find the Ombre nevertheless simply Hammer.
Will be a dosage question.

As a conclusion, I would say: If you wear the fragrance, you smell just like 315 euros (100ml) must smell.

Of course, you can grumble about the price and I think that I will not treat me because of it so quickly. Would I have the coal sitting so loose, I would do it but in any case.

Excitedly, I waited for the FedEx driver to arrive.
I did not know what to expect, before then the first 2 sprayers settled on the arm.


I should probably mention that I could never test the Orginal - Tobacco Oud - yet.
Tobac Aoud was a blind purchase.

Now I smelled excitedly on my arm and thought to myself: man, I'm standing in a humidor.
I really like the smell of fresh tobacco. When blended with the oud, it makes the tobacco very warm and pleasant.

Now I sat there and smelled again and again on my arm and then but did not know whether I really want the smell as a perfume: Do I want to use the perfume and smell like this?

After half an hour or so, I had then thought: where is the tobacco and why am I sitting in a church?
Must have missed the priest waving the incense container around.
The scent has changed a lot in my perception.
The question with me but remained: do I want to smell so?

I was impressed what was happening on my skin. I found that really interesting and not bad.

I neglected my home office work a bit to keep sniffing my arm.
Frankincense Patchouli Frankincense Frankincense ... where was the tobacco? Oud?
Already somewhere in between.

What was striking was that the whole time I was working after all, I kept noticing such a soothing smell.
It came from the arm and so the scent of I did not know: do I like you? Should I keep you? What does my wife say?
If I already have doubts, you even more so!
My own doubts gave way.
My wife was, for me more than amazing, very taken! The more often smelled the better she found the fragrance.

About 8 hrs after TWO spray on the hand / arm, the scent still projects. Not very strong but that's totally ok too. It is just right as it is. More would be then but too much.

I had doubts, I didn't know where to put my thoughts, I didn't know if I wanted to be perceived like that?!

It remains to say in the end:
Amazing development of the fragrance.
A great durability. A very pleasant sillage.

And: yes of course I want to smell like this and with a bit of pride I will put on the fragrance.

From doubter to fan and that within a day.


Yes it's a clone.
I personally don't care.
It smells absolutely high quality.
You don't have to like it but you can tell that this is a very very good product.
I am definitely a fan of Dua.
