The first blast of scent I get is like sweet, earthy, minty tea. The mint is really strong and somehow masculine. So strong that at first it is almost headache inducing. Slight herbalness underneath, but I cannot distinguish tarragon or lavender at all. Within 1 hour it distills down to earthy, musky sweetness reminiscent of pipe tobacco.

To me all of the Lush scents are really strong and long lasting, and have some element of earthiness to them

As strange as this sounds, initially reminds of a sticky hard candy that you have mistakenly spit into the trash. Oh no! Get that baby back quick, wipe off the dirt and pop it back in your mouth.

Sickly fruity sweetness with a background of musky greenness. I can only find 2 layers - fruity violets at the top and a sandy earthy muskiness at the bottom.

Near the end, Tuca Tuca reminds me of violet candies or Thrills chewing gum (that is available in Canada - rosewater flavor chewing gum!).

As with all of the Lush scents, it's kind of fantastic and awful simultaneously in my mind.

The earnest young woman at the Lush store explained to me how this scent got it's name. "They" went to a prison and asked the prisoners what they thought freedom smelled like and this scent was the result. Nice heartwarming story.

To me this scent starts out citrus surrounded by smoke. Soon slides into a nice green floral and at the same time spicy & peppery. Underneath there comes a lot of resin notes, reminiscent of the frankincense & myrrh burned in the censers swung by altar-boys. Towards the end there is a powdery finish.

I have a love-hate relationship with this scent. It is very strong and polarizing. I am tempted to put it on my Souk, yet I think I will keep it for those days when I hate myself. It will be suitably punishing...

First smell - rich pears, slightly synthetic. Pears on a bed of green moss? Very fresh & clean. Finishes nicely with powder. My favorite of the Big Ponies. Simple scent as all of the big ponies are.

Sweet floral with a bit of sharpness in the background - maybe that's the cranberry. Something nice that I can't identify - maybe vanilla or tonka bean. Very feminine & simple. Doesn't' last long on me. A short sweet review for a short sweet scent. Definitely for the young crowd.
