The perfume of a creature in the woods!
That's what it literally is!
The perfume of a nymph in a white airy dress, wandering through blossoming flowers.
Floral-fruity in a mysterious way.
It is one of my favorite perfumes for a long long time. I love the old style bottle and that's why I (unsuccessfully) skimp on quantity, to avoid buying the new one.
It lasts a long and it is a compliment magnet but that is something low in my criteria list!

What's a gourmand.. finally?
Lately, I'm used to hate popular perfumes and love the hated ones so, don't get me wrong. I guess that's my nose not working properly.
So, when I saw the notes of this perfume I was so excited and thought it would be a nice candidate for my next signature.
It let me down..
As a gourmand lover let me explain how I rank my perfumes into this category. Gourmand means that not only I'm smelling a specific note, but it makes me wanna eat "myself" when I'm wearing it.
I don't really get a lot of red fruits, just strawberry, but not the edible one. The one I smell in my car freshener. I don't get the Cotton Candy.
Is it a Gourmand? No
Is it creamy? Noway
Is it a fresh/clean? No
Is it heavy? No
Is it light? No
Is it balanced? Yes, but for me a perfume that fails to impress.

This is a perfume I could wear from summer to winter and day to sleeping time. For every season, every occasion, every gender, every age!
I'm getting a fluffy whipped cream feeling when I wear it along with white powder and freshness (but not the soapy one).
This scent reminds me of my childhood but I can't connect it with a specific person or location.
Its not too sweet, not too feminine, not too masculine.
It lasts about four to five hours on my skin.
So contemporary!

Black Sugar is true to its name!
It is a vanilla crème topped with burnt sugar. A crème brulé near the fireplace during a snowy winter night. A warm hug wearing knitted sweatshirts. A sweet dessert you don't want to eat a lot of bites, because you will have to drink a lot of water.
It's totally Gourmand! Like I can't stop smelling my wrists every time I'm wearing it. I can't really get enough of it, but when I oversprayed once, it turned to be cloying.
More suitable for winter nights but I could also wear it during the day.
It lasts about three hours and after that, becomes a skinscent.
It's lovely but not safe for blind buy, since it a bit on the heavy side!
In general, I'm glad I discovered this brand's perfumes. I got two of them and they totally worth!

It opens with an orangy scent. After some minutes, I'm smelling a lovely warm almond scent and vanilla.
Reminds me of spring walks in roads full of orange blossoms.
Its so fresh and pleasant to smell. Not heavy in any case. I'm wearing it during all day. I think I prefer wearing it during warm weather.
I could say its perfect for this pocket-friendly price tag BUT...Oh I wish it would last longer!
