Duped but Fallen on my Feet.
If there's one thing I've learnt from Hotel booking, it's the fact that reviews are one thing, and the real experience is something completely different. The same principle applies to fragrances. You have to test the perfume yourself no matter who reviews it or raves about it. I bought Dirham because a very popular "X" said it was the best fragrance from the entire House, that it was a blend between Amouage Reflection and Creed Irish Tweed. After the first few sprays, I woke up to the fact that it was a just mediocre linear unisex aromatic fragrance. It's OK but with no character at all, just smells like fragrant soap. Projection and Longevity are below average. No complaints about the price of course, but there are far better alternatives from this gentle aromatic genre, namely Sheikh Shuyukh Khusoosi. Unless you love the smell of morning soap, you're not missing much...

Qimma = Summit of Chaos
Qimmah in Arabic means Summit or Peak. In my opinion it embodies the peak of chaos and confusion. I really wanted to love this fragrance, but in my opinion the notes are totally out of balance. It starts off with citrus and some cinnamon, reminiscent of D&G The One (which is really nice) until the Oud note sets in. Not that it's bad, but the oud (probably Cambodian or Laosian) is in discord with the rest of the notes. Every time I smell it on myself, I dislike the blend as a whole. Projection and longevity are average. In short, this is D&G The One with a harsh and inharmonious added Oud note. For those who want to give it a try, sample it first, but all in all, you're not missing much. I could say it is one of the worst five perfumes by Lattafa

Sheikh el-Skhuyukh Extra-lite
Whatever you hear about this, you will still be surprised with the first spray. This is unbelievably light, unlike most Lattafa perfumes. IMO it is a perfectly designed western unisex fragrance. Lavender dominates the center of the scent, with intermittent nuances of cedar, resulting in an extra-light, safe, yet lovely aromatic scent. Some people may compare this to Bleu de Chanel or Versace pour homme. I find no resemblance at all. DarkBeat was right when he said, "It is a beautiful aroma without complications, easy fragrance and general taste, a blind purchase almost without risk." This sums it all...

Decent.. for all the wrong reasons
A citrus woody piece reminiscent of Hugo Energize to my nose. The citrus never leaves the blend until the end. Woody notes start emerging after the first 30 minutes (vetiver and cedar?). If there are any spicy notes, they are not under my nose. Overall, it's a light spring and summer scent that is never cloying. My only problem with this fragrance (beside the average sillage) is its name. This is too generic and shallow to be given such a prestigious title. I imagined it would be something extraordinary, only to find Hugo Energize!! meh..

A Speck.. a Mist.. a Clone I Wist...
Yet another powerful non-oriental Clone from Lattafa in terms of longevity and projection. Long story short, this goes in the same vein of Versace Dreamer and 212 Sexy, the sweet vanilla/citrus/aromatic sexy scent. To be more precise, it is an identical clone of my old favorite Animale Animale, and perhaps the modern JPG Ultra Male. This fragrance exudes character. A good bang for the buck.
