For tobacco sniffers
The name makes yes already times excited! But what is behind it?:

Already, if you only sniff at or in the bottle, you immediately recognize what it is about the "Hot Rodder": Pipe tobacco!

So also on the skin. You hold your nose in a bag of fresh pipe tobacco. That's the scent of "Hot Rodder." No more and no less. At the beginning, it is still a little sweetish touched. Flavored tobacco so. This sweetness is also only after 9 hours. After that remains dry, woody tobacco. In my opinion, he could have been so happy from the beginning.

Overall, he keeps with me longer than 10 hours.

A fragrance (Some would rather say "smell") for the winter months and rather not for teenagers.

To layer other fragrances, it is certainly well suited. So many men's fragrance could, in my opinion, an extra pinch of tobacco well tolerate....
To wear him as he is, I can imagine rather less. I know jatzt no occasion to which I just want to smell like tobacco.

I like it. I like pipe tobacco. Reminds me of many a balmy summer evening, tamping the pipe and watching the sunset. Or of the smell of fresh tobacco leaves hung to dry under the roof of my childhood home....

If you like tobacco, you'll like "Hot Rodder." Those who don't like tobacco should avoid it.

"Hot Rodder" is certainly not for everyone/everyone, but if you're looking for a masspleaser, you're in the wrong place at the Devil's Kitchen anyway.

I'll be keeping a small amount of this in my collection.

The private number of Aigner - Interesting, but no thanks
Also here, as usual with Aigner fragrances, I was long undecided whether I like it or not.

A look at the DNA lets expect nothing special at first. Fresh, herbaceous notes. Lavender and amber..... A little sauvage vibe maybe?

It starts floral-fruity-fresh (also slightly citrusy).

After something 1.5 hours has developed a pleasant fragrance with discreet silage. The silage is o.k. He must be desshalb not double dosed.

He is fresh. An everyday fragrance rather for the summer half-year. Not intrusive, does not attract, but rather rewards those who come closer. A typical Aigner just.
He is nothing special or outstanding. One does not stand out with it. He is rather self-confidently reserved.

He has something. A note that makes him interesting in his herbaceous-fresh and floral-fruity way. Still, I wouldn't want to wear it. He is too synthetic for me, and despite its clearly masculine note too much clean man with a slight tendency in the direction of women's fragrance

Incubus = Patchouli ?
This name virtually obliges every man to test this fragrance. Because who would not like to own the deadly seductive aura of an Incubus!

But is the fragrance of devil's kitchen this high demand also just?

The prelude is typical for a Teufelsküche patchouli. He smells like herbal brandy. Not quite as strong as "Morass" or "Shadow", but the vibe is there.
It also doesn't leave a stain on the skin like "Morass" does. A plus.

After an hour, the herbal liquor is no longer there, and I smell ...... Patchouli! Slightly "uriney" tinge. Too strong, then. But where is the myrrh?

Even after the second hour ...... Patchouli! No myrrh!

I like patchouli, but I somehow imagine the vibe of an incubus to be more exciting.

The aging jaguar from the jungle
I became aware of this fragrance because it was described as a "green wilderness scent".
That sounded interesting and meets exactly my nerve. So I tested him times:

It opens mildly fresh-spicy (slightly herbaceous). The silage is rather weak. DAs opening is thus pleasantly green. Quite interesting for a Jaguar.

After 3 hours, however, it has become a citrusy-herbaceous fresh scent. He has now something seeeehr old citrus-leathery in itself, which goes for me so not at all. So it reminds me very strongly of "Sir Irish Moss" in milder form.

Too bad. But this jungle jaguar is decidedly too old and tough for me.

A shadow of sandelwood
Patchouli and sandalwood. A combination that fits well and I basically also very like. Desshalb I had relatively high expectations, which is already basically a mistake....

But in order. "Shadow" is after "Morass" my second tested fragrance of devil's kitchen. Unlike "Morass" leaves "Shadow" already times no stain on the skin. That is already a plus point.
But just like "Morass" was my first scent impression: herbal schnapps!
And just like "Morass" this impression evaporates after a few minutes. What then develops is a woody patchouli scent, which comes across pleasantly mild and somewhat herbaceous-spicy. In itself, a beautiful fragrance, the strong patchouli lets the sandalwood but completely sink.

I can confirm the urine note already noted here by Enaira. The emerges so after half an hour and then evaporates after about an hour. At least with me. Not exactly ien plus point.

After 1 to 2 hours, we then have a mild patchouli scent, perhaps slightly woody accentuated, but from the sandalwood I had now expected more. Of this has appeared in the whole scent course at best a shadow. Maybe that was meant by the name ....

On the whole, therefore, rather not mine.
