Centaure Cuir Fougère begins with a short, citric opening that lasts about 30 minutes. In the following I perceive a slightly austere scent of a clean stable with lots of fresh hay and a hint of bitter leather, the latter is unfortunately a bit too weak for a scent that bears the leather in the name. After approx. 4 hours the scent changes into a clean scent of soap / curd soap.
The Sillage is approx. 2 hours medium strong, afterwards only very close, I feel the durability with approx. 7 hours as sufficient
I would classify this fragrance as absolutely unisex in the category leisure time, best I can imagine it actually to someone who has dedicated himself to equestrian sports or, as evening fragrance it would be too unspectacular and "nature-loving"
The bottle is somewhat disproportionate, but an unusual eye-catcher that should stand out in any collection and absolutely matches the fragrance.

Even at the risk of being lynched by the fans of this scent, I now take all my courage together and write which head cinema it triggers in me.......

Overnight with Grandma was simply always great
When I woke up, of course, she had always been up long ago, stood up in the bathroom and "straightened her hair" (today people would probably say "style"), as it was proper for a "neat housewife" at that time.
I smelled her hairspray and groped into the kitchen, where a soup was already cooking on the stove, which had a wonderful aroma of lovage and celery and felt infinitely safe.

That Heritage reminds me of it really made me doubt my perfume perception, especially since I can't smell a single one of the other fragrance components and lovage is not mentioned at all.
But when my husband came home first, already in the hall asked "Mmmm, there is soup today?" and the returning offspring 2 hours later said "Here it somehow smells like Maggi...", it comforted me not to be so alone with this feeling in the world; ) - maybe it's the genes :D

I like this smell, often I still make soup even today, because I love it when the smell runs through the kitchen - but I don't want to smell like that myself.........

Today is the big day :
Mama has saved some money and we are going to the fair !!
It's late afternoon in winter, cold and dark, but that intensifies only the feeling of an adventure and already when entering the small town from colourful booths I see the many lights and smell the wonderful smell of roasted almonds and caramel........
We go on, I get to buy 1x lots and win a consolation prize - a tiny plush bear of which I am very proud and which I keep firmly in my hand.
Finally we arrived at the children's carousel and I have to decide: Would I like to ride along 1x or rather a bag of the expensive roasted almonds ? I decide for the carousel, because the smell of the almonds lies so wonderfully over everything that alone it makes me already content.
At the end there is a surprise, because I can even get a
buy a small portion of cotton candy and I'm completely happy.......

Arrived at home, the next surprise is already waiting :
Mama cooks me my beloved vanilla pudding! The homely scent runs through the apartment and with the still fresh memories of the scent of roasted almonds I am looking forward to the crowning conclusion of this wonderful day.
With warm pudding in my stomach I cuddle up in my bed and fall asleep blissfully.......

I love it when fragrances awaken beautiful memories and when someone can do that for me, then this one - childhood memories and a pleasant feeling of security.

The Sillage is at first very strong, almost room-filling, but after a few minutes it becomes strong, but not overwhelming, but after about 4 hours the scent can only be perceived very close to me
I would describe the durability with 8-10 hours as extraordinary, on clothing even much longer

I hope that I have succeeded in describing the fragrance and its course in a somewhat descriptive way, if not, please forgive me, this is my first attempt at a comment ;)
