This fragrance has (for me) many scents with negative associations.
Frankincense and myrrh? Where are we at the Holy Three Kings service?
Do I really want to smell like the altar boy standing too close to the incense-panning priest? And then there's the patchouli, which usually can't convince me...

Nevertheless, I packed my courage, driven by my curiosity (the comments here sound promising and exactly to my taste), together and took part with whole 5ml in a sharing. However, I lost my courage again when I received the non-exhibited notifications from other sharing participants who had received the bottling earlier and placed it directly in the souk.
What the hell have I done?
The next day the scented mail also landed in my mailbox, nervously I opened it and of course tried it out directly.

All associations with any church service vanished into thin air with the first sprayer. I perceived the negatively contaminated incense as wonderfully fresh and woody. At the point where you think the incense slowly becomes a little boring, it steps into the background and the iris has her appearance, which she masters with bravura. The composition of iris and incense is supported by myrrh. Since I had never knowingly smelled myrrh before and actually only knew about the story of the Three Kings, I had to first find out what smell I perceived, but could not really interpret. It should smell spicy sweet and exactly that fits my perception. She joins wonderfully between iris and incense by supporting both. The sweetness flows into the powdery and the spicy into the woody. The basis is exactly what the name says it picks up on and reinforces the whole thing. This makes this fragrance woody-powdery-fresh.

Thanks to its low Sillage it is a good year-round office fragrance. Of course he makes himself also in the best way to any Occasions, with which a church attendance is a component ;)

In the end I was glad that other sharing participants had adjusted their fillings cheaply, so I was able to increase my measly 5ml, got a completely unused TZ (wtf?) and didn't have to start a new sharing directly.

In the long run this fragrance will complete my collection and I will have to find out:
1.) How to pronounce "Bois d'Argent".
2.) How the church managed to hold incense so negatively on me, although it can smell as positive as here.

It's funny, with no other fragrance have I read so often that Kiton Men was the first (Maybe I'm out with the wrong fragrances?).
Funny because I can still remember the marketing lecture in which the Kiton brand was on the side of the conservative brands (the lecturer commented the section with "rather uncool") in a diagram. So I sat there in the lecture with my perfume on it, a "rather uncool" brand.
But did I feel that way? Definitely no!

This fragrance has a wonderful masculine-fresh charisma. Wow, you smell good, like you just had a shower." The so-called shower gel vibe here has some fragrances, which is not wrong, but many of them have a patchouli note, which I do not like, for example Aventus. Kiton Men doesn't just smell like the shower gel on the bottom shelf, it smells much more exclusive

When I was 16 I was introduced to the fragrance by my first real girlfriend, who presented me the fragrance that was on the bottom shelf of Müller's fragrance department with the words "try the fragrance here, I just love it". I agreed with her, I liked this fragrance very much right away and so it happened that I got it as a birthday present a few weeks later. He became my party scent, my "fancy food" scent, or my night scent. For a long time it remained my only scent. The girlfriend left, but the fragrance is still in my collection today.

It was also the scent I wore when I first visited my current girlfriend in her home country. After 6 train and Flixbus drives, as well as 45 minutes at the bus station in the sun, because she stood in the traffic jam, she asked me how I could still smell like fresh showered. It was Kiton Men.

Meanwhile (with middle-end 20) I wear it very gladly as everyday life - shirt smell, straight if my smell should not apply too much and I need a feeling of freshness. On the skin I take it was not very long with me (2-3 hours), however on the clothes it has a considerable durability (6-8 hours). Accordingly, its Sillage is not too big, but it fulfills its purpose in this field of application.

Evelyn recently took over her father's family business. It stands for Layton Exclusif. Udo, her father, represents the oud and the cypriol in this fragrance, the austere animal, because it wonderfully reflects his past patriarchy. Now he has handed over his scepter to his daughter and not, as everyone suspected, to his son Linus, who is more the Layton type. Instead, Linus has been appointed head of the marketing department. There he is popular with everyone, at every fun and even more at every party. Evelyn is different there, with her one notices the influence of her father clearly, finally this looks also again and again in the company after the right one, he does not trust the fresh wind so completely, which his daughter brings into the enterprise. His visit never lasts long and as soon as he leaves the building, Linus usually trumpets out a joke that makes the whole staff cheerful. Under Udo's leadership, everything would always have been serious. The employees were glad that Linus created a relaxed atmosphere in between. However, Evelyn intervenes when it gets too relaxed. She is a boss who praises you when you deserve it, just as she criticizes you when it is necessary and in a reasonable tone of voice. She never gets excessively loud unless you've exaggerated. Otherwise Evelyn keeps the balance between her father's severity and her brother's exuberance (who prefers to save his extreme stamina for parties and dates). Of course she also has a stylish and self-confident appearance.

My conclusion: Layton Exclusif has the potential, through the exchange of blows between Udo and Linus, not only to be worn on the date or in the evening, but also at work, because it is neither too strict nor too loose. He's just like a modern executive should be. If you can identify with it, you should definitely try this fragrance. Unless, of course, you work in a bank or a similarly conservative environment, where the scent may be less appropriate. It shouldn't be too warm either.

When I first smelled the scent, it was what first crossed my mind and not because it smells bad, but that might be related to my expectation of the scent.

With the name and the fragrance pyramid I expected a sheik in the Lamborghini. So a luxurious, western-influenced Oriental.

However, this fragrance is rather the following:
The journey begins on a noisy oriental spice market of the colonial era, at every corner a new fragrance opens up to us, which moves into the foreground. At the one stand a little tonka bean and bitter almond, at the other a wonderfully fragrant clary sage and bright purple lavender. As we continue to stroll around the market, we don't even notice how time is progressing, after half an hour a new fragrance mixes with the already familiar, vanilla is offered at a stand, here too there is a wild, loud exchange between market visitors and sellers. Time passes, the sun disappears further and further behind the domes. After two hours on this market we visit a gentlemen's club introduced by the colonial masters. Upon entering the club, it becomes quieter, but not quiet. Fragrances of different teas are in the air, we sit down on a comfortable leather sofa, order an Earl Grey and end the day with these fragrances. After five hours we start our journey home.

Conclusion: This fragrance is fascinating, but I don't associate it with an Occasion where Tom Fords Fucking Fabulous is the right fragrance, hence the question in the title.
