We all change. This is the way of the world. Over the years we may ideally become wiser, but certainly greyer and more inelastic ;) Our fragrance taste is also changing. What we once liked may no longer inspire us, but what we never loved may suddenly bring us a second spring. This is what happened to me with Calvin Klein's classic Euphoria.

It was released in 2005 and flew under my radar. With some fragrances, which are always reliably everywhere, in every department store and in every perfumery, it is like with the washboard stomach. "Washboard abs? - I already have, don't suit me". And with those same scents that are always there somehow: "Fragrance XY? I've seen it before. I don't like". Even though the test may have been years ago.

I liked Euphoria already, but I never considered buying one. Some time ago I was looking for a dark, berry, sweet and palatable scent. Among other things Euphoria was recommended to me by dear fellow perfumas/-os, and I also got a sample from a dear donor (I don't know who it was anymore, but thanks again!). To my own surprise, I completely emptied the rehearsal. Nevertheless, it was not enough for a purchase at that time. Until now, when he came to my mind again.

And now with every spray, I'm more enchanted. Euphoria smells like dark berries (whether it is pomegranate or berries, I can tell the difference in taste, but in fragrances I can not do that). Sweet, but by far not as sweet as the still so popular sweet fragrances. Flowery, without being soapy or stuffy. Deep, dark, sweet, sweet, flowery, velvety, feminine and absolutely great! Moderately a great companion doses in autumn, but absolutely also in the evening.

Euphoria is a new fragrance treasure for me, and when I look at how many people already own it, I am once again a late bloomer. I haven't paid much attention to him for so long, but I'm all the happier now.

Therefore, my advice to all who want to hear one: When you're strolling through the scent temples and departments and you meet such a classic and immediately think: "Oh, I know him, he was nothing". Then stop! Don't you dare spray again! It could hide a new love in the bottle, which was somehow always there...

This fragrance, so highly praised by many people, unexpectedly came to me at the flea market. This is probably the original version with the silver bow and the silver big writing. Since I once had another Miss Dior Chérie version that I didn't like at all and I'm also happy with my Miss Dior from 2017, I didn't have any big expectations. But I didn't want to leave the bottle standing either.

I tested it at home. A sprayer. Out of the living room, back in again, madness, what smells so great here? Miss was. Smells beautiful on my arm, but also in the room. So light, but still intense (a sprayer!), so fresh, but also sweet (but also not ZU sweet). So flowery, but still beautiful ;)

In comparison with Miss Dior 2017 EDP - even if this comparison is a bit limp, of course - more transparent, translucent, like a chiffon scarf that flutters softly in the spring wind, with a more subtle patchouli note. There's supposed to be strawberries and popcorn in it. If I hadn't thought of it on my own. The whole makes it good that this great fragrance comes across so soft and soft. Perfect for spring and cooler summer days or evenings.

It is quite irritating how many different versions Miss Dior has had over the years - not only EDPs and EDTs, but also L'Eaus with and without Chérie in different vintages. It's really hard to keep track of things there.

I can now understand anyone who is trailing behind this special 2005 version, because this perfume is truly an extraordinarily enchanting fragrance. Although I thought, I would not need both misses, but I have changed my opinion, because this little darling here will definitely give me a lot of joy!

In search of the perfect musk fragrance part 26

Actually the title is misleading, because first of all I'm not looking for the perfect musk scent at the moment, and secondly it's about patchouli. But in the end it's musk again and fits well into the series.

I wanted to get a pure patchouli fragrance without frills to do some layout experiments. On the website I saw this variant and thought, Patchouli is already good, but in this one there is also musk in it, nothing can go wrong. Musk is always good!

So this mini-bottle flacon-king has ordered, and it's got it pretty much in it. Well, it comes from the devil's kitchen... One drop, and the nose is flooded with heavy animal musk. It's supposed to be illegal. If it's synthetic, it's a good replica, all right! Although, the devil has probably still some remainders in his cellar.... Anyway, it smells a little like a railway toilet.

Patchouli is also there (that's what it says: "Patchouli, musk"), but it just floats in the background. The leading role is definitely played by the musk. Now you'd think, musk, that's something for Kleo, wouldn't you? No. It's not. He is too pipihaft-animalisch and too kerlig and too little patchouli to me. And there's nothing else, no other notes. You'll get what it says.

For my layering experiments I only used a few drops and the bottle is still full, as if nothing had been removed. One really needs only very little of it due to the remarkable Sillage. Euphoria doesn't come up with me however unfortunately, and I see this material rather at the man, but this is naturally a matter of taste.

The experiments failed, by the way. I wanted to graft a few roses, deepen a few fruits, make something evil out of something good, but the animal musk overlays everything. I should have taken the pure patchouli..

I think Agent Provocateur's scents are all worth testing. I have always been able to smell a certain AP DNA from those I have been able to get to know. And I like that the brand has its own signature. Thus the smells, which are favorable, but by no means cheaply smell, stand out very pleasantly from the other Mainstream.

What makes the fragrances of this brand so special: Almost everyone awakens the slut in you! Because even if you think, oh, pretty, rose, powder, wood or what I know - just wait and see, because these fragrances are simply sweet and polite and seldom. If not already immediately, a certain dirty note creeps in later and makes the whole fragrance a bit dirty. I love that!

Once again, the usual suspects have fished at you - thank you very much and greet you! - I had to order Blue Silk blind right away. And it was an extremely successful blind purchase, because not too much was promised and I have worn the scent meanwhile often and gladly.

Blue Silk also has the AP DNA. This fragrance starts fresh, spicy and bitter, but then quickly becomes warmer, even if the spicy notes clearly run through the entire heart note. I can't make out individual flowers, I can't smell cinnamon either, which is no harm to me.

But then the basis becomes really great, because probably the Tonka bean now gives a great twist: Now the scent becomes sweet, but only very light, still remains a little spicy and warm, musky and skiny-glorious, and the best: This phase lasts forever! A cuddly scent with an edge that lies silky on the skin, but is still easily perceptible.

The above AP-typical dirty note is present, but not quite as pronounced as I think. Nevertheless, Blue Silk has a certain sexyness and can also be worn outside the boudoir ;) I find it especially beautiful on cooler days like now just.

Conclusion: Blue Silk is definitely a fragrance you can't smell at every corner. It has a noticeable fragrance, the big bottles do not cost the world and it also lasts very long. So what more does a woman want?

I just saw this electrifying kiss at Müller and, as it was already on the watch list, tried it out right away. On the way home, I kept snooping around on my arm, and it was clear: I had to have it. Finally I went the next day again, in order to buy it, because it must always be everything immediately and the same... ;)

The scent is as I wrote in my statement. Sweet, but not sticky sweet, but very pleasant. Whether there's rhubarb, apple or anything else in there, I can't smell it with the best will in the world. But it's definitely fruity, flowery too. The fruity one gives a certain freshness, the sweet one a pleasant warmth. I don't notice the pepper, nor does Patchouli.

Fortunately, unlike many other new releases, I find this fragrance not synthetic at all. It doesn't sting or brizzle anything here. The Sillage is strong in the beginning, but soon it settles to a pleasant level. The shelf life is also ok. A good five, six hours I can perceive this beautiful scent.

Electric Kiss may be more for young girls, but at least in my heart I am one, and sometimes I like those scents that warm my heart. Anyway, I like this one very much. It smells warm and round and is, because it is not heavy, always a beautiful companion. And for sure it sweetens a cool rain or other dung day.

I also like the bottle very much: the small 30 ml bottle is small, cute and cuddly, the colours change from violet to a deep red. Pretty. Flacon and fragrance. Perfect for small and big girls!
