Wellness feel good hut
The Woods, I'm expecting some real wood. So go!
Powdery green woodiness, which triggers a floating away warmed by autumn sunbeams. Through the green everything seems relatively fresh.
I detect a kind of candied and roasted legume spiciness, which continues as an association with me. As a result, the perfume comes across as sweetly smoky.
Interesting and unusual-usual the overall composition. A companion to go out and feel good. A wellness perfume. All very pleasant without being overly complex.

However, seems like I have such a fragrance already, only, which one is it?
Disquared2 - Potion is given as a comparison. Nah, so I have this gem not in memory, which is unfortunately no longer produced. Thus, I may not be good as a witness for it after all, too long ago.
The spiciness of Bentley - For Men Absolute (aka Gucci - Pour Homme)? Einwenig, yes. However, a completely different direction of the spice.

Overall, I personally expected more. Am not disappointed, but not particularly motivated to invest.
The Woods conceals its woodiness by its softness and sweet powderiness. Thus, it is one of those candidates who clearly and confidently carry wood in the name, but try to trigger more with it than they ultimately know how to redeem it. But unlike Issey Miyake's - L'Eau d'Issey pour Homme Wood & Wood or Disquared2's - Wood and - Green Wood, BSC's - The Woods manages to create an authentic aroma of a freshly worked out wooden beam and or fresh light wood shavings at least at the very end. Well, just unfortunately only at the very end.
It also doesn't seem to take too long to get to the base of the perfume. As it seems to me, all Brooklyn Soap Company perfumes seem to have arrived relatively soon in the base. What they all also have in common is that they have a comparatively decent sillage. However, they stay on clothes and skin for a long time, which makes them relatively long-lasting. Some is soetwas yes quite approve.

It should be noted: meanwhile, it is a apothekesquer glass bottle and the fragrance pyramid has changed slightly.
The top notes have remained the same.
At the heart, the absinthe and nutmeg remained. The cayenne pepper was exchanged for the red pepper and the iris absolute against the pale iris.
If it was not exactly the amber in the base before, it is the amber (amber). So at least according to the information of the enclosed leaflet of the Dicovery set.
If you have any questions or suggestions, please contact Brooklyn Soap Company. They're pretty communicative.

Mmm... full barrel!
"Wow!" I thought to myself after the perfume put on my skin.
The first spray on the skin exudes a very deep sweetness and dark wood, wood and wood!
Very far in the background awenig smoke, superficially sweetish resinousness.
Sweet spice, a little touch of freshness.
At the same time a kind of earthiness.

It goes best with me about comparisons to fragrance compositions that pursue a similar idea:
The sweetness is far from a "A*Men Pure Malt" of which I had hoped for more whiskey and spice and was disappointed only in this respect. "Pure Malt" seems softer to me in comparison.
It has a classic barbier elegance like the "Rum Knuckels", but much much spicier. It is not meant in the sense of a classic barbershop fragrance, but so I personally imagine the actual barber fragrance.

The specified ingredients of the Herznotte come out clearly here after half an hour to a full hour and are still individually perceptible for my little experienced nose.
Rose? Absolutely! Vetiver? Yes! Tobacco? Sure! Oak? Completely! So at least for my personal sensation.

Certainly not for the Otto Normalparfumo. For no one who prefers for the general public pleasant and or pleasing compositions. For no one who is under 26 years young. So rather for the young, mature adult. No, an old man perfume it is also not.
For this, it seems too modern, even if the perfume picks up a classic. This classic is meant in the old fashioned sense, as it not infrequently corresponds to today's zeitgeist.
For any lover who appreciates the earthy aromas of an Isley scotch (even if it is actually called The Irish), warmth, spice and classic, dark wood furniture. That person will not be disappointed here I believe! No matter how young or old the person is.

As for the sillage, it is quite dynamic. Sometimes my nose gets used to the fragrance, so I do not notice it clearly. Then a decent breath swings over, so that I think to myself that one should dose The Irish carefully. Especially at the beginning it comes with a force. But the whole lays in the course in a for the own environment tolerable measure.

The durability is somewhere in the decent midfield. Whereas the perfume from the clothes gives more. The next morning my clothes still smelled good after the perfume. On the skin it is sometime after seven to nine hours relatively close to the skin and intimate in the sillage.

I can't say much about the bottle, since I have the Dicovery set available. Here Brooklyn Soap Company should think about labels that hold better. Otherwise, an appealing packaging design.

For me personally it means: finally I have a longed for perfume composition I have long sought. In a relatively affordable price range.

The name The Irish is here full program.
Oldscool sailor tattoos, whiskey, flannel, tweed and fleece fabrics, antique wood, old stale Irish bars, pleasant tobacco, salty sea air, fragrant meadows and woods in autumnal tree resin. Mmm.

Thanks for reading! Apologies if my commentary became digressive or came across as ignorant

An inevitable comparison
...for me personally, at least. May here also like to contradict me someone. Me reminds this gem of the second cheapest price range inevitably to "Wild" by Dsquared2. An underrated Eau de Toilette for men.

Oh, I've missed such a fragrance like the "Wild" for a long time and now "Wunderwelt" by Alverde awakens a memory of one of my favorite fragrances, which has long been discontinued like many other special perfumes. In addition, I think the "Wild" is unjustly misjudged.

As can be seen from some comments and statements about this perfume, the idea that "wonder world" despite its discreetly kitschy title is also suitable for men so not by chance.

Of course, "Wonder World" does not smell as exactly as the "Wild". But despite the completely different ingredients "wonder world" often gives me nice moments that remind me of the "Wild" that comes a little fresher, resinous, spicy and clearer.

In "Wonder World" dominates sometimes the vanilla in symbiosis with the orange, sometimes the cinnamon a little stronger. Always remains a creamy sweetness and something woody, which reminds me personally of waxed high-gloss wooden furniture from the old days.

I guess it's an intimate scent that's predominantly for close-to-body encounters. There the durability and the sillage, relative to the price, remains quite solid. Two sprays of the "wonder world" lasted on my skin for an intense sillage that has accompanied me throughout the evening.
Such close to the body as with my favorite of Dsquared2, the "Wild", with a discreet yet perceptible sillage. An elegant, seductively cozy fragrance for intimate togetherness or for discreet courtship. I had placed both on one hand each. In the end, towards the early morning, the "Wild" however remained longer, body-scented equal to a freshly applied cream.

But visually and from the slightly heavier sweetness, "wonder world" seems more moral. Since the assumption of some Parfumos here is not wrong, even if for me personally here no association with the Christmas season arises. Probably rather a consistently positive association with creams, warming Isley scotch and a quaint herbs and wooden furniture pharmacy.
I suspect the association with Christmas based on the visual design of "Wonderworld".

My respect for such a perfume creation to the drugstore chain "dm"!
Applause, bow.

No frills
The prelude acts discreetly floral, quickly becomes greener.
A light fragrance; fresh, but without the often typical for it citric.
Despite the fact that the fragrance is unisex, he goes a little stronger in the feminine. Overall, it reminds me personally often of the neutral deodorants that one knows so generally, after which one smells fresh and clean without a particular scent.
The name it is remotely justified. A summer rain, but without actually smelling natural after it.
As for the sillage, his brother "T-shirt" seems clearer. I have become accustomed to the fragrance quite soon and have him thus no longer clearly perceived. Remained for it nevertheless perceptible.
Later, the green seems to lay down and returns as a reminiscence every now and then. I hear with time then sometimes floral, sometimes soapy notes. Discreetly, maritime nuances are also perceptible.
I'm not knowledgeable enough about the ingredients, but I think I can hear yuzu and possibly green tea. Later also possibly but something discreetly citrus by lemongrass. Whereby the whole thing is probably a proprietary formula without natural ingredients.

The 20ml bottle corresponds to the fragrance very well. The design is including lettering simple, neutral and clear. Lies well in the hand and fragrances fit into most jacket pockets, any handbag or backpack. Thus very mobile.
The plastic lid is very stable. So it already needs a little more force than usual to take him off. He creaks a little. However, fits well from the plastic quality to the glass.

Personally, I feel with the Eau de Toilette well-groomed, fresh and clean without olfactory exuberant masculine to smell. A light composition for all everyday situations. Often think of a green meadow with a warm wind and off and a sweet bouquet of flowers.

The durability is quite very solid at this price, even if the sillage after a few hours felt no longer very far reaches; what some yes quite suits.

Thanks for reading!
