Larasu

Do you have a certain person in front of your eyes when it comes to perfumes to which exactly this fragrance would fit? It is not only about the outer appearance, it must also reflect the character, the essence of the person. Since I've become more intensively involved with fragrances, such an image almost automatically pops into my head. With Begum it was different, I had no person in front of my eyes. He painted for me one of the most beautiful images.


Sprayed, he transported me to one of the most beautiful places, a place I could probably only dream of. I'm standing in the middle of the front yard of a gigantic white castle. The castle stands a good kilometer in the distance. To my left and right are a row of citrus trees, they are lemon and bergamot trees. They lead straight ahead, parallel like a path to a huge golden fountain.
Between the trees are berry bushes that look almost dainty. They bear bright red berries and taste just as they look juicy and sweet. The sun makes everything in this garden smell even more intense. It really brings the sour, vibrant flavors of the citrus to life.


Arriving at the fountain, probably the most beautiful part of the garden awaits me. Around him is a huge meadow of flowers, always arranged by color. It is downright a work of art. A beautiful play of colors, which shines in front of the white castle in the most diverse colors under the sun.
When I look at the various flowers, I recognize each of them, but when I close my eyes, it is very difficult for me to identify a particular one based on their scent; no single one of them dominates. The interplay of all the flowers creates a floral wonder with so many different facets. Each flower brings its own special scent characteristics. It smells creamy, powdery, clean, exotic, fresh and green all together. Meanwhile, I don't notice the scent from the fruit and citrus as potent as it was in the beginning but still present. Through a sweet vanilla note, the sea of flowers seems meanwhile even creamier.


In this fragrance spectacle I could stay for hours, time flies. It has become cooler. And now I begin to perceive the scent of the adjacent forest; it is rosewood and especially sandalwood. The sweetness of the vanilla has diminished considerably. Instead, I now detect the combination of balsamic amber with a gentle animalic note. Amber lends probably again some sweetness together the base notes envelope one cautiously.


Begum is special, !!Beautiful!! and he is above all incredibly well balanced.
The sweet, fruity head along with the fresh, acidic citrus, doesn't make the floral seem heavy and overbearing despite the creamy vanilla, it's like they hit the perfect middle ground. The whole is rounded off by the warm, gentle animalic base.


Because of the "floral explosion", I guess many see Begum as feminine. I have to say that it is not a fragrance that would be considered one of the typical masculine fragrances, but I don't see it as "too" feminine at all. It's a beautiful interplay of fruity, citrusy, floral, and woody accords that will suit anyone.



I still don't have an image in my head of a specific person wearing the scent. The only thing I can say is that you smell very wealthy with the fragrance, but without being strict / serious to act; on the contrary, he acts sympathetic and inviting. Without knowing the meaning of the name of the fragrance, it has triggered such an association in me (thanks to Jade89 again for drawing attention :D)

Attention to Rouge Malachite I have become, because I have heard over and over again from him and when I saw the reviews here was clear to me that I must test him.

Sample ordered, sprayed, well is okay, was my first thought and for many weeks no longer considered. Until one day I decided to spontaneously reapply it. I had an appointment and needed a fragrance with which I would slay no one at this early hour.
Especially as it gets warmer, I don't really feel like smelling like marshmallows or caramelized strawberries. (I confess, I really like that sort of thing, but only when it gets colder haha)

So off to the car and although I was dressed anything but Elegant, I somehow felt Elegant and incredibly comfortable!
Thanks Rouge Malachite, he was present but he did not bother.
After my appointment, I happened to run into my mother before and we walked together quite a bit past a meadow of flowers. Engrossed in the conversation we were holding, she suddenly said that it smelled totally good and that she liked spring so much precisely because the blossoms smelled so beautiful.
Without thinking much about her statement, I took a deep breath and said to her as well that the blossoms would smell really nice. When we had already walked past the meadow, I asked her if she still noticed the scent.
Yes, she did and I also it turned out that I or rather Rouge Malachite was the good smelling culprit ;).

About the fragrance:
Rouge Malachite starts with a very present pepper note. I am not a pepper fan and this note has already destroyed some fragrances for me. Fortunately, however, this is also only strongly perceptible at the beginning.
On the skin unfolds after the top note then the star in the fragrance: the tuberose, with this note I also still strongly perceive jasmine and sage. Rouge Malachite becomes, after the pepper note has evaporated creamy and carries a light coconut note with it, reminds me also something of sunscreen.
He is not too sweet and that is also times a good change for me.
When I wear it I feel definitely elegant, sexy, and feminine but at the same time it also gives me the feeling of lightheartedness. It is for me the perfect fragrance for spring or summer evenings. Especially on dates I imagine him incredibly beautiful, he also has something mysterious about him.

H/S are super, about it one is pleased yes always if the fragrance pleases.
He must definitely in my small collection and the bottle is btw also beautiful.

And as cheesy as it may sound.... it's true. I'd like to introduce you to the red beauty:


As part of the Le Gemme collection, Rubinia is meant to embody the ruby.
Ruby is considered one of the most powerful healing stones for love and sexuality, as it is said to have a dynamic as well as vitalizing effect.
The gemstone is said to bring courage to live out these desires, but it is also said to promote sensitivity in relationships and is therefore also considered the lucky stone of love.

To the fragrance:
Rubinia starts fruity-creamy. I perceive the tangerine, it is in no way citrus or fresh at all! Rather, it is a balsamic tangerine, in addition I could swear a cherry note rauszuerschnuppern.
In addition, a powdery vanilla note joins later, that must be by the tonka bean.
After a few hours, Rubinia decreases significantly in sweetness and remains powdery-vanilla without dry / dusty to become.
Overall, it's a beautiful creamy/powdery vanilla tonka dream. (That was long haha)

The scent doesn't have any particular progression, I must confess, but Rubinia doesn't need that.


Bvlgari has created something magical here.
Rubinia embodies not only with the flacon the ruby, but also the meaning of the gemstone in esotericism with the fragrance.
The fragrance is for me the embodiment of female seduction.
Rubinia is so incredibly feminine, sexy yet unique-special, since not only the men would turn around when a beautiful lady with this fragrance passes by and carries a cloud of fragrance with her.
With the fragrance, I have an elegant, seductive woman in front of my eyes, wearing a velvet night dress in blood red. Around her neck she has the beautiful gemstone, it decorates her décolleté.
She knows exactly what she wants. She is aware of her effect and she likes it. Rubinia could not underline her nature better.
Oh yes, that is seductive, but still also for everyday life m.M.n and who says please that one may not smell seductive in everyday life. ;)?

At very high temperatures, however, I would leave the fingers of it, because he can act but very heavy.

I'm still a newcomer, which concerns the perfume world and have only about 140 fragrances erschnuppern / test can, but Rubinia I have learned to love so far as almost no other fragrance.

For a long time I was no longer so excited about a fragrance like this one. If fragrances are hyped, that goes probably past no one and Angélique Noire was so highly praised in the sky by many, I just had to know what's up.

When I then received my sample, I could not help myself and had to spray this fragrance directly on a test strip. In some reviews I had already read that there are some people who do not really like the top note of A/n find for it the drydown idolize but that there are also some people who rather like the top note find and the drydown rather do not like. I must say that I am a fan of sweet, floral and very feminine fragrances green fragrances do not really belong to my favorite category.

Long story short, of course I didn't like A/n at all when I first sniffed it. This is supposed to be the great Angélique Noire? I had sniffed a few minutes later again on the test strip and the herbaceous start had faded somewhat, but flashed I was somehow still not...

Until I gave after weeks(!!!) this great fragrance on the skin (thank God) still a chance.
In the process, I would have just had to wait and see what a beautiful, special fragrance awaits me after the top note has faded.
As mentioned starts, A/n very herbaceous that will probably be the angelica seeds. Already after a few minutes take this paired with the sweet pear perceive of the vanilla (the most beautiful part as I find) is, however, erstmal not much erschnupperbar.

But the patience pays off my dear ones and how she does that!
To the emergence comes the probably most beautiful, most luxurious, sexiest vanilla that my nose was ever allowed to sniff.
It is not a cheap vanilla that you know, for example, from Juicy Couture fragrances (sorry, nothing against JC), but a grown-up expensive vanilla. Angelique Noire has really enchanted me.

I was so flashed by A/n that I...
1. was angry with me this great fragrance directly so condemned to have and
2. I wanted to spend days just sniffing this fragrance.

To the H/S I can still say that they are super with me, would be with such a beautiful fragrance but also very sad. :)

For me, the hype is absolutely justified, because also for me Angélique Noire is a small masterpiece.

Actually, I was planning to dedicate a different kind of review to this beautiful fragrance. I wanted to go especially on the fact that he reminds me of a fictional character from a certain film. But only later more.

I had already started writing the review yesterday evening, to be more specific. Like probably everyone who writes a review I sprayed the fragrance and then started typing to really have the scent in front of my eyes again. Sunshine I've had for a while ie I would have said until this evening that was more than enough time to get to know it.
The sample I have then probably forgotten in the evening in my bed. Well, what can happen there?
(After spraying I aired again!)

When I woke up in the morning, I also did not notice anything special. Not until I left my room, got some fresh air, and then came back in.
Oh my god, why does it smell like the delicious apple cookies my mom always bakes?
They are always in a half moon shape and filled with apples and cinnamon, dusted with powdered sugar to boot.

The glorious idea that something could have leaked, I did not come. I've never been such a thing but another fragrance sprayed I had this morning also not yet.
Until I then found my beloved sample of Amouage Sunshine on my bed. The cap including the upper part was off and the contents (4 ml) completely empty.
That explains it now at least.
I have to say that even though I've been testing the fragrance for months, I didn't even have that association.

Whether I should test fragrances more often like this? One perceives them suddenly differently. ;)

So right now, as I type these lines, I am sitting on my Amouage Sunshine fragrance bed.

To me, it smelled more like a peach dessert with tobacco beforehand, to say the least.
Then when my brother came in and we talked briefly I said, "wait tell me what you smell" without also giving any more hints.

The first thing he said, "perfume"

Yeah great thanks for the help haha

But then: "Hey it smells like the cookies that mom always makes."
So there it was confirmed again.
How could I not smell that out before!

The one that sticks out for my nose is, especially since something gourmand which goes in the direction of peach or as described above apparently mom's cookies. Of course I do not know all the notes which then means googling! Lo and behold osmanthus which is in Sunshine is supposed to smell like peach! This is joined by the bright tobacco note.
These are really the two notes that stand out for me the most.
On the skin you can smell the tobacco strongly out, in the air I have honestly almost not noticed it at all.

In the beginning, I also did not quite know whether it is with Sunshine and me something, because the tobacco is really present and also maybe a little pungent at the beginning. But the more I tested it, the more I liked it. Perhaps it must also be said that I'm not a smoker and actually hate the smell of it.

Sunshine fits, as a name well somehow the fragrance makes me happy and I schnupperTE ;( like to her, even if I have worn another fragrance.
The durability is top! It lasts and lasts. The sillage is accordingly also super.
Sunshine is really a fragrance that has needed something but now belongs to my absolute favorites :) and I imagine him on late summer evenings beautiful :)!

The movie is set in the 40s and is about the beautiful Malèna, whose husband had to leave her because of the war.
In the small town they gossip about her and worse as lust is aroused in the men and bitter jealousy in the women. Short and sweet she just wants to be left alone and has a hard time.

There is a very famous scene from the film:
Malèna is walking towards a small café in high heels, wearing a tight black dress. She has cut off her long black hair. They are now red and short. Her lips are also red. She sits down on a chair, puts her cigarette in her mouth and all the men gather around the beautiful Malena and offer her their lighters.

Maybe one or the other knows at least this scene :)
There you have it the scent reminds me of an elegant woman from the 40's smoking and smelling of delicious peach and apple pie.
