The citric mandarin grove at the ocean
i was looking for a companion for balmy summer evenings on the rocky coast of Ischia and wore this representative of the art of fragrance for a longer time.

My opinion about this fragrance has changed a lot over time.

I bought Amara because of the good price-performance ratio and because I liked the old Aqua of Bulgari already during my studies.

Amara opens with the sweetness and also acidity of the mandarin and the aqua typical "freshness kick" of the ocean.
I feel the fragrance in the heart and base note when this freshness kick evaporates when sprayed on is as sour fruit. Yes, the acidity paired with a slight sweetness of tangerine dominates the whole fragrance and makes it unfortunately one-dimensional for me.
The durability on my skin is good to very good and it lasts 7-9 hours on the skin but only there.
The Sillage with me as well as with my circle of acquaintances who I let try it was very weak. The scent can be smelled for 1 hour during a normal spraying process, after that only in the intimate zone, i.e. on the skin/garment, can be perceived.
Like the Aqua, the bottle is a drop of water that takes up a lot of space in the perfume cabinet (the 100ml version), but is visually appealing due to its simplicity.

In general, I find that for around 50€, Amara is a solid, Mediterranean, simple companion for the warm days that will hopefully soon reach us all again. I will certainly spray it from time to time in summer.

Six Feet Under // Old school merchant
Hello everyone,

so I would not apply this fragrance SAFELY on the first date at the Italian in Düsseldorf for the lady of the heart, or so that evening on the mile go but this fragrance has its own occasions, guys who can wear it can with the price/performance ratio even possess should.

I have admittedly read some reviews here and in the well-known Youtubern to Encre Noir and noticed immediately the POLARISED but sometimes really.

From toothache to death or 300€ CEO niche fragrance, the critics have it all.

I personally try to answer as objectively as possible subjectively (oh dear) and feel Him as follows.
I like to wear Encre Noir to the office. It is not obtrusive but unique, mature and for me it embodies in the fragrance DNA seriousness, consistency and experience. I have already been spoken to positively by many a person in the elevator when I was wearing a black suit/coat. Especially my superiors felt it as very good and wanted to know what kind of HAMMER PART I would have bought here again...
I am aware that the fragrance is certainly not a compliment monster in the ladies or party world, but there I am also a completely different person than in the professional everyday life or? I personally do not go to the office to beguile my colleagues or employees but to offer them professionalism and distance.

I can imagine the scent extremely well with conservative professions like (it must be now) undertaker, priest, lawyer or merchant in a classic area very well. To creative or "modern" settings would also find it rather unsuitable.

Personally, I am always happy when I as a person with a dark own fragrance DNA do not always have to spend 200€+ and buy the classics that sit safely but then I can get similar returns for little money. This is definitely the case with Encre Noir.

I own few fragrances with such brutal durability and such a positive price performance gap.

If you only want to buy one fragrance as an all-rounder for all occasions or generally prefer sweet or powdery fragrances, you can save the 30-40 euros. All others should think about a conservative investment ;)

Encre Noir is not a complimentary beast, but the man who wears it has not needed it for a long time

The Batmobil with E motor and 40 KM remaining range...
First of all, I love that smell.

John Varvatos Dark Rebel is for me definitely a buying tip from the fragrance DNA and the price/performance ratio.
The perfume is NOT for everyone but has its own target group and DNA.
It is not for nothing that many people call it the "black leather jackets" perfume because it smells like everything we associate with leather jackets, bikes and bars when sprayed on the jacket, as if on the skin.
A strong but for me very pleasant alcohol flag (rum) mixed with tobacco, leather and pepper makes you think directly of a Harley Davidson with leather jacket, rebellion and a smoky and Jack Daniels pregnant pub. Definitely not for everyone but just as well imaginable for me in a discussion in heavy old leather furniture in a salon or casino among whisky lovers.
The scent starts very strong and ge (or miss) falls immediately. It polarizes.
Unfortunately, this fragrance has its problems in the durability. On my skin it lasts for 3-5 hours and after 2-3 hours it can only be smelled by people who come very close to me (there are not really many). Here I must really say DAMAGE. If there would be a longer durability and effect I would really want to declare this scent a must for every head or hobby leather jacket wearer.

superficial freshness
Hello everyone,

to evaluate this fragrance I applied it yesterday evening and this morning and went through the various notes and development. In general I find this fragrance of the price performance situation of course for young people and small purses very interesting (which I think is also the target group). You get a big chunky, simple sprayer for about 25 Euro. The sprayer is made of plastic and seems "cheap" when you assemble it but hey, the scent is.

To the smell.
Definitely a spring scent for me, which somehow smells like a very well-known cleaning agent for the tiles. The fragrance has a very clean but artificial top note. I can see the cucumber (the fresh aromas), clementines and also the lavender. To the durability is to be said that the smell with me after 3-4 hours on the skin and on my clothes also the next morning still exactly as described in the head note is to be smelled. The durability is rather poor and I can't see any "development" of the fragrance over time.

CK One Shock is what it means to me.

A fragrance for beginners with a good price-performance ratio, poor durability and a synthetic freshness feeling
