Minimal vanilla
Sometimes it is also quite funny to look at which fragrances are quite badly rated. Since you know what you should avoid and smiles about the creative comparisons and descriptions. But I'm glad that I have made around Mini Vanilla no bow due to the evaluation.

The comparison to chocolate sounded fine. Orange softcakes are my cup of tea too and 'way too sweet' is often spot on for me. He was also just sold off, so I would have been in the worst case merely poorer by 3€. So when I sprayed it on it was a bit like opening Pandora's box. What would I get? Chocolate? Burnt plastic? Garbage?

Patchouli...At first, I perceived so much of it that it could almost have been a mono scent. Then sweet notes joined in. No vanilla, but rather orange jelly and some dark chocolate. So mini vanilla remained then also relatively long - he held in any case better than other fragrances of the series.

So the association to orange softcakes is definitely there, only these are served with plenty of patchouli. Synthetic it smells already. However, I find that not too bad, after all, mini vanilla is also not expensive.

Nevertheless, I can quite understand why this fragrance is relatively poorly rated-Man thinks of a slightly sweet, fruity vanilla fragrance and gets the patchouli chocolate club around the ears. In addition, the whole series has a rather young target audience and when I think of how badly I reacted to Angel as a teenager, I can already imagine what makes the here with sensitive noses.

So who is hoping for a subtle vanilla scent, should perhaps rather leave the fingers of mini vanilla. Since there are even in the price range better.
But for those who are looking for an affordable, rather unusual chocolate fragrance, it is certainly worth considering!

Vanilla Treasure
Cheap fragrances that are primarily supposed to smell like vanilla could almost form a separate category. There are some total failures, but also very many treasures. Generally, it is worth to be open-minded, because you are often positively surprised. So it was for me with Vanilla Darling.

In itself, I am not necessarily a fan of the brand. I'm thinking primarily of this mini-series, which was often used as a Secret Santa gift in junior high when you didn't really know the person you were giving the gift to. Yes, they get the nostalgia point, but I wouldn't wear any of them outside right now. That's why I was skeptical about Vanilla Darling until I saw the good review here and just trusted it - what's to lose?

At the DM I then realized that it was probably most like me: The whole fragrance series had already put on dust, because it was so rarely grabbed. Well, I was already so curious that I then also did not care. The first test was promising, so it came along. What led me to this comment, however, was the development....

At first, you notice minimally sweet, milky, slightly floral vanilla. Vanilla Darling starts out very understated, but gets warmer and cozier as it goes on. Eventually you feel like you're surrounded by vanilla milk and candy. Personally, I also detect a very slight hint of caramel, but vanilla undoubtedly dominates. In my opinion, this composition puts you in a good mood because you just think about nice nibbles and forget about the rest of the world for a moment. In addition, the shelf life is pretty good for the price!

For Vanilla Darling, Ulric de Varens really deserves praise in my opinion. A fragrance with this development and durability is not necessarily standard in the price range. Unfortunately, this treasure is just so unimpressive that he has received far too little attention and is now discarded in the DM. Too bad...but a backup doesn't hurt. We can only hope that Ulric de Varens will soon release new fragrances. If the quality remains the same, I'm looking forward to seeing what then stands instead of Vanilla Darling on the shelf!

Pros and cons
Actually, I had planned the title 'Pink Sugar Pastel'...So that there are no inconsistencies: this fragrance is not a twin of Pink Sugar, but it smells to me like something that is not the pink version of it, but a baby pastel pink version. But more about that later...

I became aware of the Juniper Lane line when I was waiting for someone and I was so bored that I felt I had to test every fragrance. That sounds mean, but those three fragrances just didn't seem interesting. After all, the whole presentation made me think of very floral perfumes and they are not necessarily my favorite. But then it quickly became clear that I was wrong in my assumption.

I didn't like the other two, but this one...What is that slightly sweet, but still reserved smell? I strained my nose. Almond! It had to be Almond. A look at the scents confirms it. There is a little cherry and powdered sugar to go with it. On my skin the fruity components also come out a little stronger than on the test tyre. As already mentioned, I somehow had to think of Pink Sugar and other gourmands. However, Moon Flower is not a decadent dessert, but something for the sweet appetite in between. This is how I came up with the pastel comparison: although the notes might suggest otherwise, the fragrance is quiet and shy. But it is all the more suitable for those with a sweet tooth who don't want to wear anything too strong in everyday life. Moon Flower could also be something for younger girls who are still going to school.

Because the perfume would be the ideal everyday scent for me, I find it a great pity that I also have to mention a few negative things. One point of criticism would be the durability. I perceive the fragrance on me for two hours, if at all. Maybe it's because it's reserved in itself and you could live with that, because the whole fragrance range is often on offer. But I have a big problem with something else: every time I put on Moon Flower, my throat gets itchy and I have to cough. Apparently I'm allergic to something in it. I don't mind a spray on the test strip and even though the unpleasant feeling disappears quickly after applying it, it means that I use the perfume less often than I originally thought.

But this is not included in my evaluation, because the fragrance itself is not different. However, I would really advise you to test it thoroughly before you buy it, before somebody else gets the same. But if you can tolerate Moon Flower, you will get a wonderful gourmand suitable for everyday use

Strong fragrance = strong opinions
I am writing this comment primarily because of my sister. Although we have a lot in common, we are not really on the same wavelength when it comes to fragrances. Actually, for the longest time she wore only Versace Woman, others she did not like. That's why I was surprised when she told me some time ago that she wanted to look for a new perfume. She said that she had no idea about it, I should just find her something that smells sweet.

Yeah, okay, that could be a lot of things right now. Chocolate? No. Vanilla? No. Cotton candy? No. Then what? I don't know. You pick something. Hmm...

She didn't want to order anything blind, so I just let her test scents from my collection. Eventually it was Pink Sugar's turn and I thought that she wouldn't like it at all, because cotton candy wasn't really wanted. Not that the scent is bad, but it is very intense and on some days it is too much for me personally. But she liked it so much that she ordered the 100ml bottle for herself.

In retrospect, however, their decision makes sense. Sweet smell? Pink Sugar is the epitome of sweet. Many sweet treats are represented in this little water, including preservatives and flavour enhancers.

More precisely described, the perfume reminds a little bit of cream with fruits when sprayed on, but everything that is even slightly light vanishes quickly. Afterwards, one notices strawberry candy floss, caramel rather less. All in all, when I think of Pink Sugar, I think most of all of sweets with a fruit taste, all nicely mixed and each one perceptible at some point in the course of the scent. From this one gets exactly what one expects from the name and the presentation.

What you don't get, however, is a caramel scent, or anything else at all except fruit-flavoured sweets. The emphasis is on fruit 'taste'...Pink Sugar smells very artificial and either you can't stand it, or maybe you find it more authentic: No matter how delicious you find the sweets, you have to admit that there's a lot of chemistry behind most things...

All in all, you need to know what you're getting into with Pink Sugar, because it's quite possible that the fragrance will either turn out to be a new favourite or be perceived as absolutely gruesome. This is also due to the fact that there is no other perfume in this price range with such durability and sillage, which leads to the fact that you won't even like it if it is not 100% what you are looking for. Conversely, you like it even more. That's why I also took my sister as an example: As I said, she doesn't like many scents. But then Pink Sugar simply fit.

So if you want the sugar bomb par excellence, with incredible performance, and always liked the strawberry flavour best, you should try the perfume. If it meets expectations, it doesn't hurt to reach for the 100ml bottle

Angel in leather boots
Yeah, that's roughly how you can imagine the smell. Angel, because it's a little reminiscent of Angel. But this angel doesn't want to be a good girl. He wants to stand out. Instead of flying, he stamps his leather boots. That way he stands out from the crowd, but remains conventionally attractive.

But even far away from this association, this fragrance has everything to be immediately classified by the buyer in the category 'sexy' - even without an odour test. It's simply the colour of the bottle and the name. Because Fatale Intense is rated very highly here, I bought it blind. I was expecting a fragrance that would stand out from the crowd and be... yes, sexy. That was largely fulfilled

I sprayed it on at the time and liked it right away. As already mentioned, Fatale Intense has a slight resemblance to Angel, but it doesn't go beyond the prelude. After that this one becomes a nice fragrance in its own right. I primarily perceive a non-soapy rose, which gets a certain warmth from chili. Liquorice, leather and vanilla can't really smell out as individual components, but there they are, without a doubt, and contribute to the fragrance getting a certain substance. Fatale Intense is sweet, but not gourmand. So, it's not exactly 'biteable', but it's self-confident, curious and a bit different.

I can't subscribe to the fact that Fatale Intense is very sexy, but that is really a matter of taste. The smell is slightly masculine, which is not bad at all. But personally I feel rather sexy when I wear very feminine perfumes. My friend also noticed that Fatale Intense is not necessarily his favourite scent about me.

All in all I find the perfume very successful. The durability is certainly not above average, but it's okay. It's already four hours in. I really like the bottle here because the color is simply beautiful and the overall picture reminds me of a ruby.

Finally, I would like to return to the beginning: Stand out from the crowd, but remain conventionally attractive. Yes, Fatale Intense can do that best. The fragrance pyramid is made up of a few notes that are actually not unusual. This way it remains somehow familiar, while components like chili add that certain something. Maybe that's why it's a little bit too boring for people who are already wearing very eye-catching scents, but surely interesting for those who like to make a stylistic break. Angels in leather boots.
