Those who like to drink cola etc. but do not want to consume a lot of sugar will gladly choose the light version. Others think that such a thing tastes too limp for them. This comparison probably fits best with River of Love.

When I first discovered the fragrance in the store, I didn't have to do a lot of research to find out what was being copied here. The angular bottle, the blue liquid and the star-decorated outer packaging make it easy for those who know Angel. Well, so you know what it should be, but does the actual fragrance live up to the promise of the presentation? Well...

You have to give the scent real credit for not doubting for a second what it is supposed to represent. Clearly a reference to Angel, Angel Muse, Innocent and Co. When spraying on, my nose experiences almost the same. Whatever helps you in the first moment helps better with a cold than Vicks Vaporub. If you can cope with this, you will be rewarded with luxurious sweets. This brings us to the comparison with Cola light: Yes, River of Love and Angel are undoubtedly going in the same direction, but La Rive is very watery in comparison and clearly "sugar-free"... At least the treats are not sweet enough to be as present under patchouli, berries and bergamot as the original.

But River of Love is not bad because of that. After all, it stands out in its price segment, because it is not only visible from one side. In fact, the fragrance has a real aura thanks to the combination of intense patchouli and cute candies. The fact that the durability and sillage are rather weak, I don't see here necessarily as a disadvantage, because this composition in itself is quite a club, which will quickly bludgeon unsuspecting people if you are not careful

Similar to those who drink real cola, I don't think you can convince die-hard Angel fans of the light version. After all, the fragrance polarizes so strongly that very often you either love or hate it. However, River of Love is ideal if you like the idea of the Angel family, but find the original scents too strong overall. I personally enjoy being reminded of a special perfume at my desk at home

Yes, how did it get to the point where this oversized bottle is almost empty? But I didn't wear In Woman so often?

Well, I always liked the fragrance too, because it is bright and fruity, but still not childish. Only then did I have this obligatory encounter on the train. Who doesn't know it: Hot summer day and the girl in the foursome across the street is spraying 20 sprays of a fragrance that is not really meant for this season. How do I come up with that number? I was counting... and smelling. So I got tired of In Woman for a while. For more than half a year, it then also dusted on the shelf, until I spontaneously got a sweet smell while working on the PC Gusto. One does not like to put up one's expensive treasures there, so it just became in. The colour of the liquid reminded after the time passed...not so nice things. But he still smelled the same and I liked him again.

In Woman is a typical La Rive: In the beginning more alcohol than fragrance, but a little later a passable reference to a high-priced perfume. Sì in this case. I know it too little to make a direct comparison, so my description only refers to In Woman: As already mentioned, the fragrance is sweet and fruity. Period. He's actually a little confused...as if a glass of nectar had been poured over the stocky base of vanilla and ambergris. But that's not necessarily a bad thing now, because they are nice components in themselves. In Woman is just not so slender, but simply there and unmistakable.

Shelf life is fine with me. Every 3 hours you can get over the price. You have a huge bottle of it at your disposal anyway. In my opinion it is really not nice to look at, but that is irrelevant if you wear the fragrance.

In summary, I can say that I find In Woman a pleasant mix, which I have resorted to from time to time when I was looking for a middle thing. I can well imagine that this one is the most popular La Rive on average, because many people don't attach so much importance to being able to clearly identify the individual components, but are simply looking for a good smelling scent that has a kick - and this is true of In Woman!

...but you have to start somewhere. This is my first comment on Parfumo-on the first perfume from my current collection, how appropriate. Before that, I had already owned a few fragrances, but I had never dealt with the subject in detail. After all, I was still a pupil and the money was not enough for the good things - at least I thought so...
...until I came across a video of Patch, in which she called Spirit of Cashmere Musk THE dupe to Hypnotic Poison. I have to admit, I didn't know the original at that time, but I always liked sweets...and smelling like Dior for little money also sounded tempting, so the little bottle ended up in my basket the next time I went shopping, even though there was no tester. Yes, you shouldn't buy blind, but even a blind hen sometimes finds a grain of corn and I found a great scent.

Spirit of Cashmere Musk smells primarily of vanilla. Orange blossom is easily perceived, as well as woods and a very small bit of musk. When spraying it on I think of a large bowl of custard and a warm blanket. That's why the scent convinced me immediately: I was in the middle of a test phase and therefore quite stressed. The spirit just whispers to you, "Relax, it'll be fine..."

The fragrance on my skin doesn't undergo a major development, after all it doesn't have a fresh top note, but comes straight to the point. It might get a little warmer, but otherwise it stays pretty much the same, which I think is completely ok. It is also worth mentioning that it comes without this alcohol flag, which cheaper perfumes often have.

Durability is unfortunately subjective. With me it generally does not take very long before I have to pile it up. But the Spirit beats you but really not bad - up to 4 hours I take it on my skin. But I say it again: The durability and sillage are really only for me rather mediocre. When I gave my mum a spray on her wrist, the perfume could be smelled very strongly from 2 metres away!

In the meantime I have also tested Hypnotic Poison and don't think that the two are really twins, but that's not too bad either. I personally find this one even more beautiful and interesting. But if you really want a light version to HP, you might be happy with Sweet Hope from La Rive.

In summary, Spirit of Cashmere Musk is a fragrance that simply has to be respected for the quality in relation to the price. I personally associate a lot of good things with him, because he gave me a lot of pleasure during a stressful time. Three times you can guess what landed in your basket without hesitation during your last shopping trip ;)
