Blood Brothers
Basil with blood orange? Will it be a bloody boxing match or a heartbreaking love affair? Neither, rather an intimate friendship, where you simply take the other as he is, without wanting to change him or even understand. Basil and blood orange, despite their differences, just complement each other really well, so that it smells deliciously tangy-fresh-green around me for about 4 hours, in the hair it even lasts a few hours longer. Just great for the really hot summer!

Of orchard meadows and Munich fairs
Oh, I love apple juice. And apple sauce. And real old varieties of apples that you eat mealy and crumbly in the spring, just because you still have them around. Not that this perfume smells like that, but just to point out: I love apples, and so do a lot of other people.

I quite liked this perfume, got it as a gift at some point, also wore it more often, but it was never the great love. The little apple, which does not smell like apple, however, often accompanied me on trips, because he had such a nice pack size. But not on holiday trips, no, rather short trips to the countryside or business trips, mostly in summer. The sweet and citrusy scent doesn't irritate, doesn't have a monster sillage, but a good durability, and smells neither old-fashioned, nor too sweet, nor too intrusive. Over the years, I haven't come close to emptying my mini bottle because of these narrow application windows, and now the time has come: I plan to empty it this summer. Now that I've moved to the country and work from home a lot, it's also a good fit for its former uses.

But last but not least, to revisit the question- what does it smell like? Well, for me after great fairs and after summer trips to the countryside. Only after apple, he smells in any case not :)

Tart licorice with iso e super
Recently I bought the Zara Layering Set, which combines this fragrance as a base click pen together with bottlings of the "Zara Emotions N°07 - Fleur de Patchouli | Zara" and the "Zara Emotions N°08 - Bohemian Bluebells | Zara". The latter fragrance does not do justice to the words to describe him, because at the end of the sentence he has already evaporated again (Completely without base then it somehow also does not go). The number 07 I like quite well and it also stayed a little longer on the skin... But apart from the fact that I already have too many patchouli scents, these are not the subject here.
I use the click pen now actually only in the way suggested to me: As a layering base. A bit sourish he is at first, nelkig (hmmm...), later sweet and woody, pleasant for my nose, and also really quite long-lasting. Thus, it forms a good foundation for my often far too light floral fragrances, which often have no base as a foundation, you know ;) He is thus a wonderful addition to the rest of my collection, let's see if after using up also still the big bottle may move in.
Addendum: When testing "Perles de Lalique | Lalique" it fell like dandruff from my nose: What is probably most in here is Iso e Super. Write here with pleasure, whether you feel that perhaps also in such a way or whether I am wrong there. Meanwhile, by the way, the bottle of the fragrance has also moved in.

Iris butter on cedar board
"You sure smell good! Is that l'heure bleue?" No, it wasn't today. But as touched on in one of the previous posts, the buttery bed here is not unlike that of a classic guerlinade after all, despite supposedly completely different ingredients. Personally, it was almost too strong at first, too stale-floral, a bit musty. But the drydown is really nice, over time it gets warmer, creamier, more powdery, more beautiful. I will not buy it for the time being, but he knows whether I fall in love yet?...

Love at the last minute
I first got to know Coco Mademoiselle years ago in France, my roommate always wore it to go out. He smelled for me then unusual and more tart than all the teen and Twen fragrances, a little scratchy, but very beguiling. Just a little more adult. In the high phase of my individualization I had of course not bought it again. After that, I had sniffed it again and again on occasion, but something had always disturbed me, so that I had never bought it.
Now that I have found a new hobby with Parfumo, I have of course also dealt with Chanel again. Chanel creates it now for generations to beguile the ladies and gentlemen with extraordinary, but still somehow mass-compatible fragrances. So far I found all great, but none smelled so right after me. Now, after a long intro, we come to the actual fragrance: the Lidl Dupe of Coco Mademoiselle. You can't go wrong here, you can smell the intention right away. Already at the first spray the similarity is amazing, at the price you really can't leave it there. Now I do not own the original and have not smelled it for a long time, but the dupe is my Errinerung and my nose after less brittle. It is just as citrusy in the attack, just as beautifully floral-orangy in the course, simply heavenly! The base makes the real difference for me, the patchouli is not quite as tart, the woods not quite as rustic. The base is less aggressive and rounder than in the original, which is really a win for me!
It doesn't smell cheap at any point in the scent and lasts a very long time on the skin, although I agree with previous speakers that the base notes dominate quite early on. That justifies for me but in no way the purchase de Originals, because for this you can re-spray here at least 10 times more ;)
