A short journey through time
It all started about three years ago, when I slowly had enough of my beloved J'adore. After all this time, I really needed a new fragrance! So I started to write down all the fragrances that seemed good to me when I occasionally sniffed them. When I entered this scent mixture on a website I don't remember anymore, the best hit was L'heure bleue by Guerlain. Guerlain? Heard of it. On a next visit to Karstadt, I discovered that this promising perfume was probably not part of the standard assortment. So I sniffed myself through known and less known Flakönchen and was disappointed, because nothing of everything wanted to please me so right (This changed fortunately later).
A parental leave and a pandemic wave later I rummaged around on the Internet- and there it was suddenly- on offer! I then hesitated briefly and finally just ordered it.

At the first spraying I got a fright that the perfume would be a little old-aunty. The first impression of my partner was confirmed to me even by his mother later- That smells like Aunt Liesl! Mind you, Great-Aunt Liesl. Said Aunt Liesl was probably a lady of the world, always smartly dressed, always on her toes, unmarried and without children, always earning her own money. And she always wore very good and expensive perfumes, that was added of course. Phew, lucky again.

So this is literally how I got my old aunt perfume now. I have no regrets. It starts with a lot of fresh, clovey spice and ends in a comforting vanilla, that's generally true. There's an incredible amount going on in between, though. It also smells different every day- sometimes spicier, sometimes more floral, sometimes more vanilla.... Almost every day of last winter, the suspense was new. I liked it so much that it broadened my horizons and I started diving into the world of scents.

You are the reason I became part of this community. Thank you, l'heure bleue.

Delightful everyday and office fragrance
My first impression of this fragrance was: Aunt Dagmar! That must be because I had worn until then mainly floral fragrances and this was my first musk fragrance, my first Narciso. I had to get used to it a bit, I added a bit more flowers, but at some point it became my favourite office fragrance in its puristic form. The sillage is good, but moderate, and the scent is beautiful, powdery, pure, elegant. But what makes it a great office scent for me in particular is the incredible durability on me. The holds loosely the whole day and also gladly still until the next day on clothes.
