Spring in Tokyo
Had I tested this one blindly and had to match it with a country, I would have picked Japan for sure.

The first impression is inflammatory!
You sense this wonderful bright tea note paired with a citric nuance immediately, although I can't find anything citric in the pyramid. Soon after there is a soft floral note coming to life. I don't know if it's the cherry blossom or the cyclamen, however it stays decently in the background.
The vanilla in the drydown is slightly sensible as the blossoms.
Vetiver, oakmoss, laurel? One has to be patient to sense a tart, herbaceous note . On my skin it takes long for it to develop, but it's there.

What's left of it, is an impression of a freshly brewed cup of green tea, instead of a white one, with a dash of lemon and a pinch of vanilla sugar, drinking it in the middle of an asian garden.

To me 57 Tokyo Spring is soothing, but vitalizing at the same time. I assume it's the mix of floral and vanilla components with green, herbaceous elements. A very well done fragrance.

The longevity is very good, 6 - 7 hours, but the sillage lacks.
Edit: After nearly 10 hours the citrus note vanishing, making room for a smoky note.
57 Tokyo Spring now is unisex at the latest.

Spring in Winter
30 Eau d'Hiver? It's more Printemps!

The scent starts with a citric note, dominated by grapefruit while bergamot may take over the role as the fixative here. Quickly the end note arises: apple, birch (the same one you'll find in Cerruti's Image Femme) and pepper. It stays this way. I would have wished for some vetiver in the base which could have given the scent a soft earthy quality. The way I sense it, it stays a bit too "charming".

A winter scent? No!
To me 30 Eau d'Hiver is more of a springtime or summer scent which I would probably still wear on a lush autumn day. For a winter scent it's too soft and one dimensional for my taste.

All in all a well done scent, that lacks something unique.
