I've known and loved Black Opium since the very beginning, and I also thought some of the flankers were good, although the best ones were quickly taken off the market.....why only.....
Now "Le Parfum" has arrived and I had to have it as a Christmas present for myself. And of course the big bottle, because you save money
Arrived today, unpacked, sprayed, speechless........
Where is Black Opium in this lukewarm gourmand?????
You know that green bottle with the scent of macarons by Jeanne Arthes for an apple and an egg, that was probably the inspiration for this murder of a fragrance that costs a lot more money.

A vanilla gourmand with velvet paws where once there were sharp claws. I am so disappointed.
It took four perfumers to completely destroy an extraordinary fragrance.......shame on you!

The beautiful flacon and the name awakened my desire!
Luckily the mail brought a tester and maybe or hopefully the scent develops differently, better on your skin!
What I got was sugar water with a drop of berry and a hint of citrus all in the lukewarm range and after 10 minutes the scent was completely gone.
Too bad for the well-chosen name and the high-quality flacon, I had expected more!
