Warm seducer
After being delighted with this fragrance in the last days and weeks from 3 different perfumers in the form of bottling or sampling, I had plenty of time (and material) to test this sweetheart.
I have in the time when the smell still extremely favorable to have was unfortunately too long with me gehadert because I was afraid that he is too sweet to me or too "over" like my accident with Heliotrope Blanc. For him 13 Euro were too good for me.
Super stupidly only that the smell shot up only short after it really in price. Then I left it all the more because I have fallen on the nose with blind purchases, as I said before, more often than not.

Through the rehearsals and bottlings I was now - thank God - converted.

After spraying on, the cuddly soft vanilla spreads immediately. Sweet, warm, melting. The way I love scents:)
As already described by many people, the fume later becomes a little smoky, spicy and resinous. However, these scents never gain the upper hand and only surround vanilla in an interesting and noble way. Towards the end it becomes quieter and quieter and then slowly creeps away. Excellent fragrance development. Please don't be angry with me, I really don't have much idea but I could have thought of it without knowing what it is maybe also for a Guerlain. So great I find the :-)

With me the fragrance lasts a splendid 10 hours with a really decent sillage. For an eau de cologne, I find that really remarkable.

I got weak after all and ordered 250ml in the bay for 13 Euro from GB. Zack, Boom, a new favorite in the collection. And again a price that is acceptable. Whereby one must say that also 30 Euro would still be given for this smell. Great love!

P.S I'm curious and want to test the Eau de L'Angelus now, which should be nice sweet. Maybe I'll get lucky someday:)

The Heliotrope Revelation
I'm into blind buying at TK MAXX. For me, there's nothing more exciting than standing in front of the perfume shelf, checking out all existing copies at Parfumo and then taking the best price/performance bomb with me (My trainee budget doesn't allow anything other than Ebay and TK Maxx treasures)

So it was a few weeks ago - I went into one of the Hamburg stores and came across Heliotrope Blanc. 100ml for 12,99 as well as top ratings - ZACK, packed.
I love sweet, gourmand vanilla fragrances and was therefore sure that I had made the big catch here.

At home then the disillusionment. Along with the realization that heliotrope smells for me more like running away than kneeling down.

I have to join the previous speakers, the fragrance is absolutely vintage and "aristocratic".
But for my nose it smells absolutely artificial and is a bit over the top - at least for today. It is not at all light and playful but very opulent and heavy. The scent of a loving but very strict governess at a European court. So is my association.

My first encounter of this kind with Heliotrop and hopefully my last.

I could imagine, however, that it could be something for many ladies, especially in winter. The shelf life is really okay and the fragrance warms nicely.
In my opinion, however, nothing for temperatures over 15 degrees.

At first Pfui then Hui
Bright Crystal offers the worst start I've ever smelled. Instead of ice cubes and pomegranate, I smell something that could pass as a smooth pepper overdose. Which I don't know if it smells like pepper to me either. Just spicy and killing and totally inappropriate. It makes me really nauseous.
If I overcome the urge to wash off the scent completely, very quickly, it develops into a really great summer scent. Lovely, refreshing, light and also suitable for really hot temperatures. Then the man comes along who would have liked to sort out Bright Crystal in the flacon while testing it.
If the top note wasn't so unbearable for me, it would certainly have become a summer favorite, since it is extremely easy to wear, has a very good durability and should not be unpleasantly offensive to anyone (apart from this top note...).

He's moved out here now. I can't stand the start and thank God I still have one or two similar summer fragrances, which I like much better - Bright Crystal is not unique with the best will in the world.

Dreamlike childhood flashback - What do you remind me of?
My first comment. Please be gracious :)

I was on a bargain hunt at TK Maxx a few days ago. Fished by Parfumo I have been going deeper and deeper into the world of perfumes for some time now and I have to say - I love it!
In the back corner of the Sale I found L'eau de Parfum I. In Supersale reduced to 15 Euro. I quickly checked out the fragrances and statements at Parfumo and took the good piece with me. For the price I thought I couldn't do anything wrong.
Already on the way to the train I would have to tear the perfume out of its packaging and do the first desperate test - blind buying is simply too exciting.
Already the first nose filled me with joy and a super comfortable feeling. I wasn't quite sure if the fragrance was suitable for the summer because of the statements, but even at 20 degrees I felt it wasn't too heavy at first glance and a good mix of light, playful and spicy and heavy.
Arriving home I had to test L'eau de Parfum directly on my skin. I was enchanted. The beautiful, fresh beginning with the bergamot which quickly gives way to a creamy, warm and slightly spicy fragrance is simply wonderful.
I actually got goose bumps right away, because the scent reminded me of something extreme in my childhood. I don't know if it was my mother's perfume, or a shower gel, or just a fragrance in the air. For me, L'eau de Parfum smells of summer holidays with my parents and my best friend when I was a child. The scent really touches me. Every time I smell him, I start thinking again about what is so familiar about it. I hope I find out. :)
I must also say that my friend is almost just as in love with this fragrance and he sprayed it on himself without further ado. It develops much more spicy and less gourmandig. So definitely also a scent for (m)a man.

The fragrance itself does not undergo too much development with me. Once the bergamot has vanished, the fragrance remains wonderfully soft and warm. Unfortunately I have to say that both Sillage and durability are rather in the lower third, which makes me really incredibly sad. However, it does not harm the fragrance itself. As already described in the statements, the bottle is quite cheap and not very pretty. I hope very much that I find this scent again with TK Maxx, in order to be able to bunkern it!
