The easternmost western oud?
Oud is the ingredient that got me into the world of fragrances in the first place, with Tom Ford Oud Wood (yes, there is probably little or no oud in it ;) ) I became interested in fragrances.
Fragrances that not everyone has or wears (yes, everyone has worn it, but I didn't know that at the time).
I quickly realized that this ingredient is very expensive, very hard to get, but also very special.
Then I smelled Xerjoff fragrances for the first time from a sample set of the Oud Stars range and I have to admit it was very special, I had never smelled anything like it before, let alone even heard of Xerjoff. However, the price at the time was what put me off buying a Fars or Alexandria II.
"That much money for a fragrance?"
That was my thought, but this statement was revised comparably quickly and the first niche fragrances found their home in my collection.
However, I avoided Xerjoff for a long time, I don't know why, perhaps because my brother then bought Accento and Alexandria II and I simply wanted to wear something else.
But then came the moment when I heard about Orientale for the first time..
It was supposed to be more animalistic, more oriental than its brothers, so it was actually exactly what I wanted.
Some time later, I had the opportunity to buy an Orientale for a good price, so he moved in.

Well, what can I say?
He is exactly what I was promised, more animalistic, more oriental, a little harder than his brothers at the beginning.
Nevertheless, it has this unique Xerjoff DNA, noble, refined, projecting, long-lasting, simply to the point
Moreover, it does not lose the typical Alexandria DNA, it is its darker, more dangerous, initially cowshed-working brother.
Lasting power and sillage are perfect, definitely a statement fragrance.
We don't need to talk about the packaging, several boxes, one made of leather, inside the beautiful bottle wrapped in tissue paper - that's top drawer, no question about it.

As for the oud in this fragrance, I have to say that since I have now reached Areej le Doré and Ensar, it is a more tolerable, more western oud, slightly animalic (even if Ensar or ALD are not necessarily animalic), so quite different from a more floral OSM from MFK, for example, but perfect in this composition.

In terms of price, I think it's already high, but for a fragrance for special occasions, you're happy to pay more and you wear it correspondingly less often, so it's still justifiable.

So a real recommendation to buy for anyone who might want to delve further into the ingredient oud, or perhaps would like to delve a little deeper into the subject of animalics, or simply for those who want to enjoy what I consider to be the most beautiful eastern western oud creation from an absolute top distributor to date.

Have fun with it!

Goosebumps in the desert
As I find it relatively difficult to write good reviews, I only do so very rarely. However, with this fragrance I simply have no other choice, so I will now give it my best shot.

Where should I start?
I ordered a sample of LDDM because I was interested in how this Tauer creation would affect me due to the very positive reviews in the community.
I also had very high expectations and what can I say?

Sprayed the sample on my arm, wait a moment I thought to myself.
Waited briefly, smelled and well, luckily I was alone at that moment...
I didn't know what to say or think, so I smelled my arm again - yes, you really smell that right now..
A green accord at the beginning, with lots of spice. Then a warmth, I don't know how to describe it. After five minutes, more of the same, plus a very, very pleasant sweetness, with a (very) minimal floral accord. In addition, an irrepressible dryness, ever more intense and hypnotizing - there I am, in the middle of the desert, a flowery oasis at the end of my field of vision, scalding heat and dryness all around me, yet goosebumps all over my body.
I spend the whole day there, caught by a whiff of this masterpiece.
I can't find my way home, I don't want to...
Here I stay, forever.
I slept on it once, flew there again and now I have the beautiful-looking Tauer travel ticket in my possession.
I already know that it will never be boring there.
I can now go there whenever I want.
Thank you for this trip, Andy!

One of the best Montale fragrances!
Have purchased this fragrance on the occasion of the coming cold days in Hamburg, after I have tested some fragrances of Montale. I liked him when I smelled him the first time, not even so like, or was not convinced. When I was then the next day again in the perfumery and tested him another time, he liked me but very much!
He starts with a great light, spicy honey note, which is clearly cinnamon and warm-woody in the DD, due to the amber and oud chords. The vanilla is noticeable throughout and gives this fragrance a continuous, almost delicious, but not too intrusive sweetness. I personally find this course very pleasant.
Durability and sillage are super. Holds on my skin easy well over 10 hours and projects strongly. Since the first application, there were compliments from people around me throughout.
In summary, I can only recommend this fragrance and also do not really understand why this fragrance is not much better known than others of this house.

An absolute Gem!
I first smelled this fragrance at the duty free area at the airport in Palma de Mallorca and after I spend there over 4 hours, I tested nearly every fragrance (and they have a lot!), but I didn't found the special one I was looking for, because my goal was to take an unique scent with me which reminds me of my vacation.
After some time I visited Cartier as one of the last remaining stores and the shop assistant showed me the fragrances they had to offer. The last scent she showed me was Oud &Pink and immediately after she sprayed it on the tester I was really intrigued in some fascinating way.
The only other rose - oud scent I owned at that time was Oud Satin Mood Extrait de Parfum by MFK and even if that one is still my signature scent, Oud&Pink is not far behind.
If I have to describe it, I would say that it is more woody and has a less amount of rose than OSM but this little twist is what fascinates me about this fragrance.
In terms of performance it does perform really well in my opinion, 2-3 sprays will get you noticed for at least 8-10 hours, but it is quite unfair to compare it with OSM because that one is an absolute monster when it comes to durability and sillage.
All in all I have to say that Oud&Pink is an absolute stunner and moreover a fragrance which I have never smelled at someone else, so will definitely get positive reactions for wearing this one.

Simply untouchable!
I bought this one blind, because I trusted it's phenomenal rating by the community and I have to say I am not disappointed at all. It is a scent which is not to describe in my opinion and when it comes to performance, not a single scent I have ever tested or owned is able to compete, not even close.
2-3 sprays and this things fills rooms for the next 14 hours, which does get you noticed in any case.
So to say don't hold back on this one, if you do, you will definetely regret it.
My absolute Favorite..

PS: Combined with masculin Pluriel by MFK this one is also really nice and does have a quite different touch.
