Only dead fish swim with the current
In a world where everyone wears and likes classic "blue" fragrances, which for me smell like any sports shampoo, I feel like a stubborn provocateur when it comes to perfume. After years of trying to follow the mainstream and I like these popular perfumes ala Sauvage, Armani Code and all my colleagues who have been representing the TOP20 in all drugstores for years and have been contributing to a uniform general smell in discos and clubs for years, I have to say that I don't like them and I simply can't wear them

With that the desire grew in me to flow against the current to not be one of these dead fish
After TF Tobacco Oud has been my signature fragrance for over a year and the cessation of production has been bothering me for the past 2 months, I have been searching intensively for an alternative "Auf die Fres*e" fragrance.
It should be cheap, but different and provocative.

Already in 2017 I liked GGA, at that time it was too much for me and one wanted to please girls and not scare them away.
This time I dared and tested him intensively on the skin
My God, it smells good. Provocative, rough, masculine, just different

For me, GGA is the outlaw among perfumes. Extreme Niche for small money (available for a small 40 Euro for 90ml).
You smell so completely different from the mainstream. There is nothing sweet, fresh or citrusy about this fragrance
Just leather, wood and some whiskey and smoke. A fragrance that you have to wear with a lot of self-confidence.

For me just no fragrance for the casual leather jacket and biker boots, that would be too much clichee.
Like TF TO, for me it is a fragrance to wear with a suit, a shirt, or more elegant outfits. You may stone me, but it works fantastically.

This is probably also due to the fact that I live in Eastern Europe and the women here like a lot of masculinity, but the fragrance brought me, as well as TF TO, positive almost in love complements.
For me, an absolute aphrodisiac for a man (25+) with a lot of self-confidence and a certain "aura" of an educated alpha male, a loner who has everything under control, always knows what to do and is a certain gentleman despite his animalistic appearance.
This image of a man, tall, masculine, elegantly dressed, who enters a room and there is a silence of titles, an admiration and awe in the air, that's what a fragrance is. One is provocatively different, but in a not banal white, but well thought-out and elegant

Strong petrol and whisky accord for me the first 15 minutes, which changes into a leathery wood scent and in the next hours loses the leather and is replaced by subtle herbs.

No blind buy, no fragrance for slender low guys with little self-confidence, this fragrance would be as out of place on such a man as CK One is on me.

The self-confident Alpha loner
After I had fallen for OL16 from Tom Ford, Tuscan Heather and also Oud Wood, I decided after a lot of research that I'm not willing to spend so much money on perfumes anymore.
Alternatives like Rasasi LaYuqawam have shown me that you can have great scents for half the money.

But my common sense didn't expect me to discover Tobacco Oud.
And all this at an unbeatable price. I couldn't help it, I had to have him, because this scent, as much as it scared me off on the sample paper, so much I fell in love with him on my skin.

A fragrance that I don't need to describe further, that was described here in detail by other colleagues.
Yes, it smells like tobacco, yes he smells a little (at first). Yes, Oud is weakly represented, yes, Amber is heard and the whisky strongly at the beginning.
DEN. I WANTED TO. I AM. HAVE.

This scent is not an "I want to please everybody" scent.
No. You have to wear this fragrance with confidence. With a good portion of "I don't give a F*ck".
Either the environment will love the scent on you, or hate it.
And no matter which variant it will be, you shouldn't care what others think about the scent.
Yeah, that's the kind of attitude you need for Tobacco Oud.
A scent like a real man, like from a textbook. Almost for a clichéd man.
None of these soft rinsed Sunnyboys with full body hair removal.
For this fragrance one needs the certain Sprezzatura. Self-confidence 11/10 is definitely a prerequisite.
TO is for a man sitting in a suit smoking cigar and drinking whisky in a lounge.
Or one of those on his new Harley to the WallStreet drives up with black Saint Laurent leather jacket.
A CEO scent like here some write. Yes. But no ordinary CEO. No CEO in professional life. A CEO in private life. A leader who radiates this Alpha leader. Just an alpha loner who can't be influenced by the opinions of others.
But not for the classic show-off that wants to impress everyone and is always the focus of attention.

Such a scent is that, controversial, no everybody-pleaser.
But he doesn't want to be.
Dark, dirty, smoky, controversial, just awesome.

The unexpectedly mysterious seducer
As a fragrance novice, amateur, puppy, novice I will write my first comment on this fragrance.
To me : I am addicted to the world of fragrances 2016, when my desire to smell individually became bigger and bigger.
I have become a lover of heavy dark woody smoky and single fragrances and have also discovered TF private blend for me.
However it frightens me more and more to spray thousands of Euros annually.
In short : I have discovered Rasasi La Yuqawam and had it for over a year on my wish list

What happened today is for me like birthday Easter and Christmas at the same time.
Almost like a lottery win.

So in my adopted country Poland I strolled through Katowice on this snowy, windy January-Friday and actually wanted to sit in the mall with a coffee before work and warm up a bit
My standard procedure, first to Douglas, then to Sephora to test scents, I almost blinded myself from the habit almost unconsciously
Ah, nothing new, the old stale scents, TF too expensive, rest Mainstream.
Almost mad at me for wasting precious minutes every time in the gullible hope of finding something new, I wandered on and to my astonishment I saw a new store.
Notino.
Hm, let's have a look.
I was surprised. Amouage Tester, Atkinson, Black Afgano and many more
And there I saw him: Rasasi. La Yuqawam.
Almost euphoric as a child waiting impatiently for his gift, I spray a bump on my wrist.

I was beaten to death. Raspberry and smoke. Still burn wood and raspberry. More not.
I was disappointed when I left the perfumery and went to drink my coffee as usual.
But after 10 minutes I dared to sniff my wrist again.

WOW, THAT'S REALLY FINE.
What can I say, I'm straight to Douglas, sprayed me on the other hand TF TL and waited.
I even approached people in the mall, asking which one was better.
Everyone agreed that it was the same perfume after all.
Old it is my skin, but I really barely feel a difference.

The raspberry evaporates, leaves a discreet sweet note behind, leather takes the helm. A lot of leather. Just the way I like it. Add to this subtle wood and smoke notes. Some jasmine. That's all I smell here and that's enough for me.

So I am back, bought the bottle for 70 Euro and am now the proud owner and FAN of this fragrance.
To the suit it smells so unusual but nevertheless seductively warm and masculine, my secretary and various colleagues asked today what I have put on it that it smells so unusually great.

I can imagine this scent just as well with a black leather jacket in spring and autumn or at cocktail parties in the evening with a blazer.
I will certainly wear it to my colleague's Black Tie wedding as well, so this fragrance has displaced Tobacco Oud from my 1st place, just because TF TL was 2nd and the price-performance ratio here is simply unbeatable.
