J'adore as my first attempt to become an elegant lady
I might get a little emotional with this review simply because this fragrance has such great significance for me and I used up my first bottle exactly today.

Let's start with the history of this fragrance:
The fragrance was designed by Calice Becker in 1999 and the bottle was designed by Hervé van der Streten. Christian Dior always wanted to depict the modern woman with his creations, but not deny her femininity, because a woman can be both: strong and feminine. With the fragrance "J'adore", the famous fashion house has also succeeded perfectly (in my opinion).

Unlike many perfume classics from the 90s, this fragrance gets the perfect balancing act between seductive freshness (without being tangy) and at the same time a perfect lightness, which I have never smelled before. For my nose, most fragrances in this direction are too effervescent, tangy and just too featureless, but still totally overloaded. This one, however, has a certain complexity because you have to try very hard to smell the individual notes. He is completely coherent in itself and smells of a feeling, a behavior, an attitude that is neither too sassy, sweet, rebellious.

The fragrance underlines for me the elegance and femininity of a woman who knows exactly where she is going and what she is up to. Whether business woman or housewife, skater girl or ballerina, it gives a boost of confidence that seems totally real and authentic.

A fragrance for every woman.

PS: Some would say, J'adore is only what for women from 20, I have him already with 15 up and down worn and must say that I find him also there just right, as he also no too strong sillage, you get a light touch off, but nothing too strong thus also perfect at a young age.

Definitv a fragrance that I will always repurchase!

A light fragrance, perfect for hot days
Unlike its older sister Acqua di Gioia, I find this one to be lighter and much easier to wear.
Like the name, I immediately think of a fresh breeze in the evening which blows a very light touch of light flowers, but these definitely hide in the background of the composition.
For me, the marine notes are definitely in the foreground by the peony, orange blossom and ylang ylang but ausgesoftet and the slight tartness of the woods patchouli and cashmeran so toned down.
I find the fragrance is quite unisex and can be combined by the light aquatic texture well with other fragrances that are zb fruity & sweeter.
Compared to acqua I find this one easier to wear on hot summer days if you have a very sensitive nose and better to combine.

Not one of my top 5 but definitely one I wouldn't want to miss and recommend to anyone who wants something light and airy, aquatic without a strong woody or citrisvhen scent.
