Noble, long-lasting citrus fresh scent
The scent starts citrusy-peppery but without being pungent. The lemon is very natural as freshly squeezed with some freshly grated lemon peel. Later in the further course joins v.a. vanilla, but the sweetness remains discreet.
Especially great I find the connection of the fragrance with the typical Chanel DNA, I find this here even more harmonious than the mMn already very good Bleu de Chanel EdP. For me, Allure Homme Édition Blanche is the noblest smelling citrus fragrance, I like to wear it with a suit in the summer, but it is also excellent casual. For sports, it is a bit too noble for me, but basically I am of the opinion that everyone should wear what he likes anyway at any time of year and occasion.
For me, the best citrus fragrance, which has more than earned the good reviews!

Oh, the performance...
I love the smell. In my eyes, one of the better Aventus clones. I definitely think it's better than the more expensive Montblanc Explorer.
Vibrant Leather smells insanely fresh and masculine and it can be worn in any situation. But the performance is really very very bad. You would have to spray it every 3 hours. In terms of price this would be possible (it would still be considerably cheaper than the Aventus), but I would like to have a fragrance that lasts until after lunch and I don't have to constantly repeat it in the toilet.
If Zara would make this fragrance stronger, then I would pay 30-40 Euros for it.
All in all the perfect student scent: mega cheap for a great scent and the one lecture a day only takes 90 minutes (hardly out of my studies, already I'm talking like a 50-year-old)...
Whenever I'm at Zara to sniff new scents, I find myself thinking about taking the Vibrant Leather with me. But since I have the Montblanc Explorer I forbid myself to do so

The First
My entry into the world of perfume.
The Writer was the first perfume I bought myself. Before that, a perfume was the obligatory Christmas present from my mother. Mostly they were drugstore fragrances (brands: David Beckham, Michael Kors, S.Oliver, etc.).
Then I was single again and young as I was (well, it was just 3 years ago) I thought to myself, now I must expand my perfume assortment. And so I came through Google to Parfumo.
Since I only have a student wallet, I quickly shot myself at Dupes. I tried the Writer at Galeria Kaufhof and I was speechless: I had never smelled such a fragrance before. It was fresh and spicy at the same time but also sweet. Very masculine and sexy as I thought. The ideal fragrance for my purposes.
But I hesitated. One day later I sprayed Dior Sauvage EdT at Douglas and the Writer on the other arm. I was stunned: a huge price difference, but the scent smelled very similar. In the top note I found the Sauvage a bit more noble, but in the drydown they were very similar, also the durability was similar. Immediately I bought the Writer.
For a long time the Writer was my favourite scent. But I soon noticed that you can smell the Sauvage and its dupes quite often. Besides, the Drydown is getting on my nerves a lot by now.
All in all a great fragrance for the price, especially such a sillage and durability is very rare in the price segment (see most Zara fragrances).
Now the Writer will soon be empty, I will not buy it, nor will I buy the Dior Sauvage. Meanwhile I like other fragrances better
However, I can recommend the Writer to anyone who wants to have an evergreen fragrance with more than solid performance for little money. The desire for nobler fragrances will come by itself sometime...
