Too bad about the sillage!
A balmy Saturday evening in Corona times: Let's write a review on Parfumo.

Since I've been following YouTuber Demi Rawling for a while and find her content good over long stretches, the fragrance of course didn't pass me by and certainly I would have blindly picked up a bottle if it had been either cheaper or different in note composition, since gourmand scents aren't really my fragrance prey scheme. Also, because before the initial launch, it was "advertised" that it was a one-off release of Demi Rawling and FDB's collaboration with the motto "when gone, gone". That doesn't seem to be the case now, with a relaunch due in early April.... well... I'll just leave it at that...
I have received the fragrance from a sharing. Curious I was then but! In addition, I wanted to test gladly times a FDB or a high-quality Gourmand:

On the whole, I am of the opinion that the fragrance is already approximately as Demi Rawling also describes him. It opens quite interesting and creative and very varied compared to the rest of the fragrance - spicy, fresh, tangy and only very slightly sweet. I really enjoy the opening and it lasts for a good half hour before the scent develops further and the sweet, warm, yummy notes take over. Caramel, in particular, then runs through the entire rest of the scent in my opinion. I search in vain for coffee - at most it's a caramel frappuccino a la Starbucks - but I can't find a proper coffee aroma. Too bad! That would certainly have been an interesting contrast.... In the base, slightly woody and greenish notes then come in, but these are merely in the background, but offer an interesting and fragrant counterpart to the caramel sweetness.

All in all, the fragrance is in my opinion but not too sweet, but just right, as well as really tasty and very pleasant. A slightly alcoholic touch you get in the base with a little imagination possibly also still.... Even if I'm not of the opinion that the fragrance is "perfectly unisex", but tends to the feminine, I really like it and so I can not really understand the rather negative reviews here so far. The sillage, however, as you can already see from the headline, must unfortunately really criticize... completely without projection - apart from the start of the fragrance - is pretty stupid, intimate cuddly fragrance for togetherness or not. :-) The durability on the other hand I would like to praise! The really holds very well, without that I now want to make a time statement, but great deductions I can not make there.

Conclusion: I really like it! I would still not buy a bottle, because Gourmanddüfte just do not fit me and a certain projection is already important to me. But that is of course subjective. All in all, he smells in my opinion but very high quality and balanced.

Unfortunately lost - both against Pegasus and Layton Exclusif
With very high expectations and full of anticipation I was looking forward to this release, because I am a big fan of the house PDM, even though I unfortunately don't own a bottle yet, and have only tested numerous fillings so far, but was mostly enthusiastic about the fragrances.

But unfortunately this is not the case here, I'm disappointed with the latest release and try to explain why: In short - as already mentioned in my statement earlier today - I find the scent relatively superfluous. But why is this so and why is Layton Exclusif not? Well... exactly to this Layton Exclusif there are many parallels, you can definitely recognize a pattern here, but in the case of Pegasus Exclusif, of course subjectively felt (!), it's rather negative.

Compared to Layton, Layton Exclusif is a lot darker, more mysterious, more unique, more masculine and less mainstream (all things that I personally just like compared to Layton, and that I miss or "bother" in Layton). For me Pegasus is the better, more interesting and higher quality fragrance. The Pegasus Exclusif does combine elements from Pegasus and Layton Exclusif (not the Layton notes, of course) but I don't like the end result that much because it is, in my opinion, much too sweet and a bit boring, since the Exclusif elements are already known from Layton Exclusif and are much less powerful and much less dark in the Pegasus Exclusif. The Pegasus Exclusif is much friendlier, creamier, more pleasing and more designer than the Layton Exclusif, but it doesn't have the breathtaking individuality and transparent, slightly cool freshness of the Pegasus either, and that's why in the end it's rather boring and superfluous for me, even if it sounds nasty at first.

Pegasus Exclusif is certainly a good fragrance, which will have and find its fanbase, but I am immediately more enthusiastic about some other fragrances from the house of PDM (Layton Exclusif, Pegasus, Kalan, Herod and even Carlisle, whose first hour I do not like at all, but who then combines absolute pleasantness and an exciting roughness wonderfully and is an absolute powerhouse).

The performance of the Pegasus Exclusif is so far good (the sillage could be a bit stronger), but I have to say that Layton Exclusif, although so cute, is not as good as Layton Exclusif.

The all-rounder
My second comment!
After dedicating my first comment to my ticket to the world of fragrance (TF Oud Wood), I decided to take on another fragrance that I have owned for a long time and have worn a lot and always loved. I'll keep it shorter this time, because I got a little bit too much in the Oud Wood comment...

Here we go, then: I can't leave anything negative on the ADG Profumo!
The bottle is valuable and looks great, even if it is simple. I also like magnetic caps. D
The price is so far ok for a designer, especially if you take a larger size and observe the market a little bit.
The durability is almost breathtaking with me, especially since it is a fresh scent. I can wear it without any problems even in winter, and I am thrilled by the masculinity and the depth in the drydown. On clothes it lasts much longer than on the skin.
In my opinion, the fragrance is appropriate for almost every situation in life. But you also have to be able to wear it, I would say, it doesn't necessarily suit everyone (equally well).
The top note sometimes comes across a little green somehow. But I like it! Just maybe not necessarily every day.
As I already wrote in my statement, if my 125 ML are empty, I will buy more!
Unless... The R word...? Reformulation? Has there been one? Can anyone help? Thank you in advance.
So... again and again gladly the ADG Profumo!

The world of scents welcomed me with a warm embrace
... ...and won't let go. The man responsible for this is none other than Tom Ford's Oud Wood! And I am still so grateful to him.
In my youth, generally disinterested in perfume, with the attitude: "It all smells the same somehow, is overpriced anyway and can it really last the day and be perceived?!" I came across him by chance about three years ago... and was immediately overwhelmed, captivated, enchanted...
For me, scents were always some kind of sweet or fresh, uniform mash (shame on me! - so mean prejudices can be), which didn't irritate me, but when I smelled this scent for the first time and then noticed that it also lasts well (which is actually the case with me, many people have a point of criticism here), it was just about me. Besides the questions who is this genius Tom Ford and what the hell "Oud" means, I knew:
1. I must have that scent, whatever the cost!
2. Probably this is not an isolated case, I have to reconsider my attitude towards perfume and try to find out more about it.
3. If I was wrong, and the world of perfume has so much more to offer, how do I finance this addiction as a young adult? :D
But as it is in life, you find ways. Well, now I'm rambling... Back to the essential:
The fragrance is a wonderful, woody and very pleasing composition. It is very warm and at times slightly sweetish, so in my opinion you shouldn't apply too much, which is good for your wallet, as the TF Private Line is not exactly cheap (I know... there is more to it... anyway...). However, I'm also pleased to see how long a 30 ml bottle can last if you don't use it daily and in a more select manner. :) Still, I think you could use this fragrance as a daily driver. Maybe not in the middle of summer and of course the industry has to fit and you have to be the type for it but you don't have a super oriental or even animalistic oud scent here. It is a well tempered, very careful oud creation with a lot of other woods and most wonderful tonka/vanilla, but in my opinion it still offers enough oriental/new things to inspire European and inexperienced noses and to make them curious... as it just happened with me!
So... this is it... my first review here on the forum... I knew it had to be about that scent, because it's just the one that started it all for me. Honour to whom honour is due
