Behold!
A pleasant surprise in the mainstream assortment of Marionnaud...already the promising presentation of the "Colognes Botaniques Intenses" appealed to me on this hot August day in Salzburg. My choice fell on the "Aqua Sacrae", from Aqua Solis there was a 10ml addition.
Aqua Solis is a perfectly portable, light cologne for the summer that surprises with its fig leaf note. (I don't find them in the description, but I feel strongly reminded of Philosykos of Diptyque.)
A green, sharp, unsweet fig leaf note with even more green cut, I imagine chopped cacti.
Another association that the fragrance inevitably evokes in me is that of Hermès-Un Jardin sur le Nil. A sultry green note and an adult citrus peel note typical of Hermès.
As the fragrance concentration of the colognes is of course not outstanding, you can't expect any miracles regarding Sillage, but the durability on the skin is quite OK.
For the price an investment worth considering.
