Body Spray
Okay, I feel really bad. I'm writing a comment here about a Prada fragrance for 80 Euros and I come to the conclusion that it's actually more of a light body spray for me. The punch line: I've already written a comment like this before, about a fragrance from the Aldi brand Anna Biondi. The two have one thing in common: they smell great, but not intense and certainly not long. Now you can get over that with a perfume for 4 Euros, but for 20 times as much? I don't know.

I find the fragrance really beautiful, the enchanting mimosa is supported by fruity, tangy tangerine (wonderful in summer!), feminine by the totally unobtrusive rose and finally rounded off by spicy, soft aniseed. I love anise in all variations, but I have already mentioned this in one of my comments. So I repeat myself!

Prada Infusion de Mimosa would really have a chance to become a follow-up candidate and a constant companion, which in principle fits in the office, in leisure time but also in the evening. But when I spray it on in the morning after bathing, I hardly smell anything when I arrive at work. What a pity! So the infusion seems to consist only of NaCl with a splash of active substance

The most beautiful vanilla
"WHERE IS IT?!" I want to yell at Yves. Why has the most beautiful vanilla perfume been withdrawn from the market?! Explain it to me! WHY?! :'-(

Fortunately I had secured a large bottle just before the disaster, which I now guard like a treasure. When I started looking for the right body lotion shortly afterwards, I was shocked to discover that the complete series had been taken out of the range.

You might have to back up a little - I love vanilla. Always have. In my (for me, by my standards) quite considerable collection I had and have numerous vanilla perfumes, which all went in a different direction. Sometimes more vanilla sugar, sometimes coconut, sometimes creamy, sometimes like pudding... That's all well and good and has its justification - but no perfume smelled like a scratched-out vanilla pod. And I know how it smells, because vanilla sugar is not allowed in my house! When I bake cakes, cookies and the like, I always love it when my hands still smell of this fine vanilla note hours after the black pod has been scraped out. And that's exactly the kind of perfume I had been looking for - and found.

I can't describe the fragrance any better - it smells exactly like vanilla. Sweet, lulling, delicious, gourmand, slightly woody and with a pinch of orange marzipan. Vanille Noire is my candidate for cold winter days, when it's freezing outside, when I take out my wool sweater and just want to be accompanied by warmth.

Associations in the shower
The brand that once launched blue waterballs with the company logo on them launched a new shower gel collection this spring. Apricot and mango, raspberry with blueberry and watermelon with mint were the three varieties that promised a fresh fragrance and a delicate skin feeling. I got the latter, because after a hot summer day (I hate summer...) I have to cool down in the evening with a fresh shower gel and lukewarm water. So when I was comfortably lathering up and the water was splashing, this scent reminded me of something and I first rummaged in my brain, then in my perfume collection... Florabotanica, man, it really does smell similar!

So it happened that Florabotanica accompanied me in the first trains of the summer and I was really happy to have rediscovered it. A bit like spearmint chewing gum, I love this fresh note, a bit green but still feminine. My fear with such fresh scents is always that they smell too masculine - I can't have that about me. But Florabotanica is drifting into the flowery, you have the impression of standing in a wonderfully blooming garden between roses and carnations (you can really smell them!), which also has a small corner with fresh herbs.

Ideal on warm days, the fragrance hovers gently but does not soak in. Also the durability is really good for such a summer scent, on clothes it lasts until the evening. And of course the bottle is also an eye-catcher, even if I personally would expect something completely different just from the bottle: a kind of Prada Candy, sweet, with an extravagant touch - just the sort of thing for fashion-week kids. But no - Florabotanica taught me better! :-)

Between Miss and Mademoiselle
The fact is, she's not an adult! :-)

In my opinion, the fragrances of Yves Rocher are totally underrated. They're not really expensive, the bottles are pretty, but no green handbags with gold chains, no star-shaped purple structures, and the Frenchman has a really large selection of different perfumes, so you can quickly lose track. So far, so good.

I took Mon Evidence with me on a "buy one fragrance and get a second one as a gift" campaign because I was so attracted to this soft pink - that's exactly my colour. I also find the wooden lid really chic, even if it somehow gives the wrong impression that it's a woody scent. The loose handwriting already reveals that the fragrance is rather addressed to younger women - maybe from 20 to 40? (Of course I don't want to step on anybody's toes, everybody can wear the scents he likes!)

In fact, the "obvious" (or how do you translate "evidence"?) sniffs fresh at first, so I can understand why many draw a parallel with Coco Mademoiselle. I once had this fragrance too, but we never got warm because it was too harsh on my skin and smelled almost like a men's perfume on me. But I liked the tangerine in the prelude - and that is also noticeable here. But unlike the Mademoiselle, Mon Evidence is developing in a more floral direction, although I wouldn't declare it to be a typical rose scent. Here again I understand the reference to the Misses - one of my absolute favourite scents, mind you. As radiantly flowery as a summer's day - that's also the YR fragrance in the course of the year, but with a less pronounced rose. But the base differs significantly from both high-end perfumes - Mon Evidence becomes vanilla-sweetish, patchouli I can't really make out at all.

Mon Evidence accompanied me in early summer and I was more than surprised how pleasant it was. Never too much, never too little, easily noticeable but not obtrusive, suitable for the office - really nice! So if Coco Mademoiselle is too fresh for you like me, if you like Miss Dior but are looking for a lighter version - you will love this one!

Chocolate cake with berries
Recently, we had dinner in a fine restaurant and for dessert we had all kinds of delicious desserts - among others, small chocolate cakes and berry ragout in a glass. As is well known, every woman has a dessert stomach - you can be as full as you want, it still fits in! So I tried this heavenly combination and I was blown away.

And this dessert reminds me of Fame for Women by Michalsky. I had received it as a PR sample and put it on the shelf, when the weather was bad but dirty and uncomfortable. I could have sworn from the scent that there were some berries in there - currants, raspberries, blackberries... But this is not so, instead we find apple. Then that is probably responsible for the fact that the fragrance has something so fruity about it at the beginning!

Vanilla and praline are the flavours for the chocolate tartlet, Fame for Women is sweet and a bit chocolaty, but garnished with fruit. I like it and don't think it looks cheap - I have already gotten some "You smell good" when I sprayed it on. The perfume hasn't come off so well here so far, but if you like Black Opium or 007 for Women II, for example, you might like it too.

I would also like to praise its bombastic durability - when I spray it on in the morning before work, it still smells it in the evening when I take my clothes off. And then it still smells "fresh" and not so musty, which some bergamot patchouli fragrances have after a few hours. Erwas stupid is the bottle, which has a thick bottom - it looks full, but in reality it is only 3/4 full. So it is deceptive to want to see how much of the water is still in it. But that's it with the grumbling - all in all this is a nice autumn/winter treat!
