Loyal companion
Eau de Rochas was my first perfume. I got it from my boyfriend at the time and was immediately blown away. At that time I understood nothing about head, heart and base, about the interaction of the fragrance components or similar. But I instinctively felt that this little water in the noble flacon was something very special. It was summer and Eau de Rochas became my faithful companion

The years passed, other scents came and went and EdR was forgotten. Until I saw him again quite by chance at Müller's. Wistfully I sprayed him on and then he was allowed to go with me.

The citric-spicy notes in the attack are wonderfully fresh and clean. It's almost like having a glass of ice-cold gin and tonic with a juicy slice of lemon at 35°C. Afterwards, the fragrance becomes softer, more floral, beautifully rounded off by the flowers in the heart, with the fresh note remaining present with me all the time. For me, EdR is a brilliant combination of summer freshness and simple elegance.

The durability is quite OK for a summer scent. After 3-4 hours you have to refill. But this is not a problem, because the scent is never obtrusive.

As long as this fragrance is available on the market, it will have a place in my collection. So let's hope that it will remain with us and not be crushed, as is unfortunately already the case with many classics.
