The other day, after a long time, I was in the perfumery again. I wanted to stay away from temptation - but this time I had to get my mum her favourite perfume on behalf of my dad, so I was on a completely unselfish mission (by the way, it's LouLou, which smells magical on her and on me, unfortunately, only after a campfire has burned down).

Of course, I couldn't help but try out some fragrances that I had had my eye on for a long time. One can try them. And so I tried Chanel no.5 again, because I would like to have it at home - just because of the beautiful bottle & the perfume fan value. But also this time it was a bit too much for me, probably exactly what many ladies, probably especially in their 20s, find annoying. The nice employee of the shop was apparently watching me and first pressed "L'eau" & then "Eau Premiere" into my hand with the words "That might be more your taste". So I sprayed both scents on one scent strip, hurried away because it was too late, threw everything into the car and forgot the whole experience again.

A few hours later I got back in the car and took in an incredibly noble, seductively pure scent. I was confused, what was smelling so good here. Then the two scent strips from the drugstore caught my eye again. One of these two smelled so noble & seductive that it almost drove me crazy the whole car ride. Of course I didn't know which scent was which, so I researched and found out: it must and can only be this one. The very same day I ordered a half-full bottle here on Parfumo. And today I'm wearing the fragrance for the first time for the occasion: home office. There are hardly any other occasions at the moment. And I haven't been to the office for months. But I can tell you one thing: Today I feel like a real Chanel in my home office. This fragrance is a mood booster and above all it has something incredibly pure and fresh about it, but not in an unpleasant air freshener way. You simply feel beautiful, seductive, elegant and chic than I certainly look at the moment. I have to say that despite the sweatpants, I feel simply Chanel. Eau premiere, this is my fragrance. With it I feel arrived at Chanel No. 5

Had bought me the fragrance like probably many before me, because it comes from the perfume god Kurdijan and - we know it - BR540 should resemble. I understand that the vibe is a similar, but not really. I clearly miss the richness and complexity of BR540, I wouldn't call Burberry her intense a dupe - BUT the fragrance is still an absolute dream, surprisingly good, warm with a splash. I wouldn't have expected this from Burberry and especially from this unspectacular bottle. Sometimes it's just so surprising. In any case a clear recommendation, so completely different than I had expected :)

I didn't think that a fragrance would catch me in the same way as Baccarat Rouge - but when I received the perfume samples from Maison Francis Kurkdjian today, I was proven wrong.
The fragrance, like Baccarat Rouge in my opinion, is hard to describe, hard to pin down on a note. It's not just a fragrance, it brings back memories that you don't even have, it conveys a feeling, an atmosphere, it's always there like an aura, it reminds you of a lifestyle and makes you want to see the world outside, which may not look quite so rosy right now. The sillage is incredible and the fragrance evolves like poetry, Francis Kurkdjian is a true artist - I know this comment may not help undecided people because it says little about the notes themselves, but I had to put my feelings about this perfume into words ;)

I had already found one of my new Signature fragrances in my head, an all-rounder with a big bang, a head-turner - the bottle exudes a timeless elegance and the descriptions on YouTube sounded exactly like how my new fragrance should smell for every season. When I think of Elie Saab, I immediately think of the breathtaking (second) dream wedding dress by Blair Waldorf in Gossip Girl, and so I had in my naive recklessness everything in my head already so beautifully painted with this new fragrance.
So, what can I say, I think this is my last blind purchase. I don't do it often, blindly buy perfume, but what can I say, a lot of time, a lot of YouTube geinfluenced and then at the end accidentally discovered a cheap price, which was of course only valid for one day. So what should go wrong.
With even one splash, the perfume feels like a slap in the face, the drydown doesn't change that and reminds me of my childhood on the back seat of my mother's car, who for a while wore an unbearably strong fragrance that always gave me headaches on long car rides. I tried it, now I have it there, maybe I'll try it again sometime, but now I have to recover from this disappointment and the blow into the spray ;)

If I had to visualize the fragrance Prada Candy, I would see a pink and gold castle made of caramel candyfloss in front of me. Not the kind of castle and candy floss you would see in a children's movie, but rather the (sexy) adult version of it.
I love Prada Candy, such a warm, cuddly, sweet scent - the name says it all. I would bathe in it and buy it again and again all my life, if it wasn't for this problem with durability. Unfortunately Candy smells for me at most the first hour and then says goodbye without a sound as if he had never been there before - so he remains unfortunately only the candy floss castle in the air, which I enjoy again and again briefly....
