Not bad but..
I received samples of the original Flowerbomb and the Flowerbomb dew yesterday.
This morning then the test.
First, I sprayed them both on a paper towel. At least they smelled pretty similar, but the Dew is a bit lighter
I decided to test the Dew first.
It smells kind of fruity at first. I can't say for sure, but it reminds me very much of good old Jennifer Lopez Live from 2005 (although no fruit is supposed to be included, I somehow smell a fruit cocktail) I can't imagine anything under the dew drops, though.
After a relatively short time, half an hour maximum, the powdery iris scent came through and stayed. Now I wear it for about 4 hours and the only thing that remained is the iris, supported by a touch of musk. It smells warm, soft, actually exactly my taste.
But there's something missing. It's a fragrance like 500 others. Extremely delicate, even for my taste. I would probably rather wear it in winter, but in my opinion there are others, similarly structured, which somehow have that certain something more.
Like I said, I actually love scents like that. You can't do much wrong with it either. It fits in the office, it's not pushy.
But somehow it is just one of the usual faceless scents of the past years.
I probably won't keep it and give the specimen to my sister.
And try the flower bomb tomorrow

A sister of Miss Fenjal :D
I've always avoided nonchalance on the drugstore shelf. It is somehow always close to Tosca, which I find very horrible, a stuffy old - people - smell.
Today I sprayed it on for the first time and thought: hey it smells good!
I spontaneously took it with me for little money and sniffed at it again at home. And then another beloved classic: Miss Fenjal. I did not need to sniff for long, there is indeed a resemblance, whereby Fenjal looks fresher. Nonchalance is more mature, but not old.
It's a lovely feminine scent, warm.
I don't really smell any development. From beginning to end I perceive a successful mixture. Bergamot, coriander too. A lot of the flowers, especially iris. And lots of sandalwood.
Great, I'm really a little sad that I thought this fragrance was something like Tosca and therefore passed by for years.
By the way, he is exactly the same age as my mother and therefore has his 60th birthday this year! A real classic

The scent of my mother
My mother uses very little perfume because she has many strong allergies and cannot tolerate scents. She is also rather the casual type, and used to wear sporty fragrances. But she wears this (only on her clothes) when she dresses up
I was at first surprised to see a powdery scent in her possession.
Then I got curious and tested him.
The prelude is fresh for a short time, but then the fragrance quickly becomes powdery and I can clearly smell the incense and jasmine. However, it does not seem to be obtrusive at all, as I actually often feel incense, and I cannot smell the listed lilies of the valley (fortunately...).
Later, the fragrance becomes softer, but the incense remains long and remains unobtrusive.
It is a really elegant fragrance, although it is probably more for the not so young ladies (my mother will be 60 soon, so it is not an old bag either).
He's not easy. But pleasantly unsweet. Powdery, but not overwhelming.
Yes, I can understand her being the only one wearing it

My first "grown-up" fragrance
As a teenager I wore these typical early 2000s Mexx scents. They smell fresh and pleasing and nothing more. Perfect for young girls
In my early 20s, just before my wedding, I first received a sample of this fragrance and then I bought it.
It was quite cheap, but long lasting and much more "grown up" and "elegant" than my teen scents.
You can clearly smell the magnolia, a plant that smells really elegant to me. The scent is soft, powdery. But not overwhelming at all.
I always associate him with my wedding and for years I have been really sad that he no longer exists.
I am now over 30, we have our 12th wedding anniversary this year.
And I must say, I'd probably still be wearing it today. It is simple, inexpensive, but timeless.

Beautiful classic !
I saw the scent many times in the drugstore and thought it was one of those "bombs" - classics like Tosca and Nonchalance. I can't do anything with them, they kill me.
Today I sprayed it on spontaneously, because somehow I didn't find anything new on the fragrance shelf that interested me.
And then he smelled so beautiful!
Fresh, but only very light. Gentle, but not old. A bit like my rose shampoo soap, even if it doesn't have roses in it.
It smells clean, but not neat, but like the touch of warm, well-groomed skin.
He didn't smell me for that long, maybe four hours, but I had sprayed very little.
Now I'm annoyed I didn't buy it right away. But I had to let it work for a while, but I have to say that it has hardly changed at all. I like that.
I am really positively surprised and wonder why I didn't try it years ago.
A prejudice was definitely refuted.
