Great Aventus clone with vanilla twist
Already some months ago I received a sample of the fragrance from a parfumo. Even then it was clear to me that I would need a bottle as soon as I got him in Germany, which was finally the case

The flacon is a matter of taste. Definitely something different. There are significantly more expensive perfumes with less value flacons and packaging. Besides, the sprayer is total crap. Even a 5 Euro perfume from the drugstore is better here

From the smell it is of course an Aventus clone. At the moment in my opinion by far the best from the house of armaf. The main reason is the top note, which lacks the penetrating synthetic lemon note. It's still there, but significantly reduced compared to Club de Nuit Intense Man and also less than the perfume oil version.
The top note comes damn close to my Aventus Batch, just a bit more synthetic, but not disturbingly synthetic.

In the further course Bucephalus has above all less smoke and instead significantly more vanilla. I like the station wagon very much throughout.

Sillage is very good for the first 2-4 hours (depending on weather). The durability is very good. Got another compliment after 8 hours of walking by. The scent remains clearly perceptible on clothing for almost two days.

Its worth around 55 euros in any case. Perfume freaks stay with Aventus. Everyday fragrance lovers like me are highly satisfied with this

Date for Boys
After I liked some of Alberto Morillas' fragrances very much, and I also really liked office for men, I wanted to try date for men. But here I was disappointed.
The bottle is exactly the same. So cheapest cap, but good sprayer

The fragrance is mainly fruity at the beginning. Very quickly, however, youthful sweetness is added, which makes the fragrance almost unisex. The fragrance then remains fruity sweet creamy for quite a long time until it becomes somewhat woody at the end. But I don't take anything from oud at all.

In any case, in my opinion, the fragrance should only be worn under 30 years of age, as it is not masculine enough. Besides, it does not fit to a chic date with fine clothes, because it is too casual.
Durability and sillage are ok.

Reminds you a bit of le male ultra male, wanted and invictus, but which cost much less and appeal to the same audience.

In itself, the smell is therefore certainly not bad. But I am too old for the fragrance and the fragrance for what it is too expensive

A subjective opinion
It is said again and again that smelling is probably the most subjective sense, and therefore the opinions about a fragrance can be very different. Nevertheless, Office for Men comes too badly away for my senses.

About a year ago I started wearing perfume again, and could hardly stop buying more fragrances. Something, however, got me to the point where I wanted to limit myself to a few fragrances. Two fragrances for warm days, two for cold days, one for in between, one for special occasions, an evergreen.
All fragrances must fulfill the following for me: I want to find you great. Not only well, but personally I am always happy about the fragrance when it wanders into my nose. Besides, he must be portable at work, as well as please my girlfriend. I also don't want a shelf life of less than 4 hours.
After many, many rehearsals, I got the most fragrances from the souk. Only another one for warmer days was missing.
The last fragrance that completed the collection for the moment has actually become Office for Men for me (even after a rehearsal from the souk) at the moment.

But let's start over.

The reason why the fragrance aroused my interest at all was not Jeremy, but:
1. Office for Men should smell fresh, and that's what I was looking for.
2. It was created by Alberto Morillas, and I also like many other fragrances from him (for example, my other warm days are also from him - Mugler Cologne)

The bottle:
Hm, well. Looks very chic on the one hand (from the form), but still looks cheap. The lid really doesn't work cheaper, but at least it holds tight (the bottle can be lifted at the lid). The sprayer also looks very cheap, but actually sprays very well. Nevertheless I expected more here.

The scent:
Here, as the title says, it becomes extremely subjective. I understand some arguments why the scent doesn't come off so well. For me personally it didn't matter after the testing, because I just PERSONALLY like him very much. I was still looking for a scent for warm days. I've tried so many scents. Among them were also some that I liked. But I've still been looking for the one who makes me rave when I see him on myself. And that's exactly what I found here. A Sauvage, Light Blue, AdG Essenza, Dior Homme Cologne, Bleu de Chanel, various Pour Hommes etc. didn't trigger this for me, but Office for Men did.

In the top note it smells like bergamot, which I like very much here. The station wagon with Ambrox and Iris simply pleases my nose. The bergamot then disappears over time, but the fragrance remains fresh. To be honest, I can't really say what it smells like, and the synthetic substances don't tell me anything either. But I just like the scent from start to finish. All in all it just smells freshly showered all the time, but not soapy. The durability is with me with approx. 8 hours.

Clearly the fragrance is nothing special if you look at the fragrance category itself. For me it was simply my own subjective opinion that this fragrance is my favorite for the category.
But also my girlfriend liked it immediately.
On the first day I'm out of the bathroom and my girlfriend said directly. "Oh. The scent today smells really good. Have you bought that yet or just a sample?" - It's a rehearsal - "Well, you're welcome to wear it more often."

For the office?

The Sillage is just at the beginning really enormous. I don't mind. If you don't want that, you just spray less. Nevertheless, it must be said that it could simply be too much, especially in small or narrow offices. I work in an open 70m² office and applied 4 sprayers in the morning (was the first day, after that it became less). I sat alone in the office for about 15 minutes until the first colleague came. He came through the door about 10 meters away, sniffed audibly into the room, and came straight to me: "Let me smell you. Is that you? Is that a new perfume?" - Yes, it is. - "It smells really good."
I also told my colleague that I think it's more of a "Daytime for Men" because it doesn't smell as professional or experienced as a Tom Ford Grey Vetiver or AdG Profumo for an office fragrance. Even though he agreed with me (I wore the scents the days before), he still found that it fits very well in the office, all year round, because he could smell some depth besides the freshness (whichever :) ).

But I stick to the fact that a specific office fragrance would have to smell different for me. Exactly for this reason it is not an office, but a scent for warmer days for me.

The price:
I have to say. The "retail price" is simply much too high, and I would never have paid for the fragrance. Even if I liked him so much, he just wouldn't have been worth it. That's why I waited until there was a 50% discount. So the price was then at 100ml in the same price range as a Dior Sauvage and for me justifiable (also here: subjective opinion, because I like it better than Sauvage).

In short: A great fragrance for me, if you get it discounted. Nothing special, but just the right thing for exactly my nose. And I don't need more justification for myself :)
In my opinion, it would also have a higher rating if he came from a designer house

What a disappointment
Dior Sauvage Parfum actually does a lot right and is still a big disappointment for me. So I'm glad I didn't get the bottle but a sample of a perfume.

The bottle is well-known, but very good, which also applies to the sprayer.
The same applies to the fragrance, which I like from the beginning. Especially the warm and comfortable drydown I like very much. I could keep sniffing at that.

All this doesn't matter in the end because the perfume has two problems.
First of all, there is the extremely bad Sillage. Also at the beginning, it is at most with one meter, if at all. Sure, you can't expect as much from a perfume as you can from an edt or edp, but you can't expect as much?
And what's worse: After 45 to 60 minutes it is only perceptible at close range. That's just not possible. And no, I have not only gotten used to the scent, but also let others smell it. You only take the scent directly on the skin was. Even I, the wearer, have none of it.

That at such a proud price is simply unacceptable.

Purely from the smell it is my favourite sauvage, because it is simply the most complex. But I don't spend the money on a very close scent. Even with eight sprayers, it wasn't noticed. At edt or edp I could use it to smell a warehouse.

Sorry Dior, but I prefer to stay with EDP, or buy two other designers who are similar or just as good

The cheap Aventus for non-smokers
Mont Blanc Explorer is the first fragrance where a statement is simply too short for me.

I already had a bottle of Aventus, and was torn back and forth. Again and again this interesting fragrance came into my nose, but then again and again a smoky note that reminded me of wet ashtrays. Unfortunately, I also realized that as a former smoker, smoky fragrances simply don't suit me at all. The same applies to me with By the Fireplace or Noir Ambre.
Aventus had therefore "failed" with me. The same was also the case with Zwilingsdüften or Dupes with me the case.

But now finally to the Explorer. The similarity to Aventus is clearly given, but not completely cribbed. Especially the Ambroxan sweetness at the end is clearly different.
But I'm especially happy because the smoky Explorer has been reduced to a minimum, so that it doesn't bother my sensitive nose. What remains is this interesting note, which was also always so great with the aventus.

As well known as the DNA here is, I have never smelled it on anyone in my environment. That's why I'm really happy about the release.

With four sprayers I have a good Sillage of three to four hours. Here I also noticed that the scent in the cloud smells even better than directly on the skin.

Then the scent goes back noticeably, and lasts 6 to 8 hours, depending on the temperature. Could be better, but it's not bad either.

In my opinion, the fragrance can be worn by any man from about 25 years of age (I find it too adult for younger men). Besides to the sport it can be worn to any occasion.

I like the bottle very much and the sprayer also works fine. There's nothing to complain about.

For me Explorer for spring and summer will be my this year's leather jacket fragrance.

Conclusion :
I recommend Explorer to anyone who likes the Aventus DNA, but doesn't like the smoky like me, and instead adjourn some mainstream sweetness
