Not a surprise
Tone down the iris, almost muting it.

Add a strong leather, but smooth and creamy.

Add some sandalwood.

So is the Dior Homme Parfum.

Differs from Dior Homme because the iris note was rather attenuated - forget the makeup smell.

Also there isnt the sweetness of Dior Homme Intense.

The leather note is the main player here.

While it is an excellent perfume, in my opinion lost a bit of eccentricity of the other versions.

Just as the Fahrenheit Parfum, Dior Homme Parfum lost some of its character - both go to a common place, even above average.

Excellent lasting power (over 10 hours) with good sillage in first hours.

Safe choice
The yuzu note is crafted differently in this scent: not so high / evident as in L'Eau d'Issey.

Here is the yuzu more balanced. After opening arise fruity notes, remaining until the end.

Perfume well behaved, ideal for day-to-day.

Projection low and reasonable duration.

Missing something...
Much is said about the Private Blend line.

Although there are many great perfumes from this line, Azure Lime disappointed me.

That is not a bad fragrance, but I think it lacks character.

It's missing something else that justifies its price, as with many Creeds.

Its opening is wonderful, with some floral and citrus notes. However, its drydown is disappointing and mediocre because it leads to a common place of summer fragrances.

The drydown is basically composed of woody notes, remaining with some floral tones, something totally harmless and boring.

It has good lasting power and projection.

Niche or designer?
Garrigue is synonymous of the approach of Jean-Paul Millet Lage to the designer world.

It is the closest of the designers that MPG house could reach.

As a consequence, we have an excellent scent, which probably pleases all tastes.

Striking with a citrus herbal tones, especially juniper and sage.

In the drydown a base slightly woody with tones of musk.

I feel a great resemblance to the Green Irish Tweed, launched three years earlier.

However, Garrigue differs from the GIT because its more complex, more herbal and darker.

Excellent fragrance but a bit disappointing when it comes to MPG.

In fact ... Epic!
Epic opens with slightly green notes, perhaps due to myrtle.

Quickly you can smell the notes of frankincense and pepper, that last for a long time.

Arise in the drydown, very harmonious, notes of oud, leather and musk, with a hint of incense.

The combination works very well, making this scent into something unique and truly epic.

Two sprays are sufficient for the whole day.
