It's all about... LEMONS!
The name is true: Mancera Lemon Line is basically all about lemons.

The opening notes are very very natural lemons with a little sweetness. The fragrance remains like this for a good amount of time.

Also there's a floral note that joins the composition in about 1 hour. The drydown has some musk and amber.

The whole composition is very well balanced - i would say Lemon Line smells like Allure Sport Cologne mixed with Allure Edition Blanche: it takes the best parts of each fragrances.

Sillage, lasting power and projection are very good to a citrus-based fragrance. Lasts about 8/10 hours in my skin.

Probably Lemon Line will become my #1 for summertime.

Velvety Oud
I'd say Oud Oriental is a velvety oud: the note here isnt harsh or medicinal but soft and creamy.

There's also a great sandal note supporting the whole composition.

The opening has some florals and saffran which disappears quickly.

Besides the opening, the fragrance itself is very unidimensional with oud, roses, sandal and amber exhaling from the beginning to the end.

Lasting power is around 10 hours. Sillage and projection are great also.

The Brut's father
Pinaud Clubman is a classic barbershop scent. Probably the quintessential barbershop. Or maybe the ancient barbershop.

Opens with some citruses/green notes (maybe lemons and some flowers). Then joins the notes of geranium and maybe vanilla or coumarin. Dries down to a soft and a little sweet base.

The drydown is really powdery i must say.

Pinaud Clubman was initially made as an aftershave, but it works very well as a fragrance because there isnt much alcohol.

Of course it reminds me of many scents, specially Brut, which is a bit fresher and less powdery.

Hidden gem
Walking by Santiago, i went through a supermarket and found Agua de Colonia in the lower shelf... I saw it and then something told me it could be a great fragrance.

I didnt think much, it was very, very cheap. As soon as i went back to the hotel, i did open the fragrance and WOW! What a hidden gem!

This is a very true and tradicional Eau de Cologne: lots of citruses (lemon, lime and orange) mixed with some herbs and a light woody base.

Sillage, lasting power and projection are low, but okay for an EDC. It does really reminds me of Chanel Eau de Cologne from Les Exclusifs.

The price? About 10 dollars for 250ml.

Douro by Penhaligon's
Douro opens with a huge lemon/lime note that recalls me of cleaning product.

The first notes disappears quickly, then joins the composition a nice lavender note, followed by a woody base with hints of spices and resins.

There is a powdery smell, actually a barbershop smell, which i find very pleasant. At the drydown Douro reminds me of Sartorial from the same house.

Douro is more a skin scent, smells refined for sure.

Sillage and projection are good. Lasting power is around 4/5 hours.
