Good scent, but why reformulate?
Why reformulate?
A bit muted version of original with some powder added (iris) that leads it to Dior Homme line.
In my opinion the original DHS is superior than this one: more green and with a heavier ginger note.
Anyway this is a great scent for sure, but lacks in freshness if compared to original.
While original DHS is a must have, this one is a must try.

Designer's heaven!
This is another designer's wonderful release together with Dior Homme. There isnt much to say about this beautiful scent.
This is darker and sweeter than DH: opens with a powdery iris that remains in the drydown. Later joins the vanilla and it gets even more sweet smelling like chocolate.
Great lasting power with medium projection and sillage.
This is superior than the reformulated version.

If Black Aoud is too much for you...
Im writing about the EDC version.
As already said, to me this smells like a watered down version of Black Aoud.
It's light and subtle if compared to Black Aoud, also less medicinal. It also remembers me more Aoud Rose Petals. Do not expect something sweet like Rose Anonyme or Midnight Oud.
Opens with lots of saffron and oud and then dries down to a sour rose smell with a hint of musk.
Projection and sillage are medium while lasting power is about 5 hours.
Unisex in my opinion.

Great one!
Midnight Oud is a great combo of roses+oud with bit of sweetness.
Remembers me of Atelier Cologne Rose Anonyme in the drydown.
Not as heavy as Black Oud neither as subtle as C&S Dark Rose (EDC), this fragrance is unisex for sure and has a great lasting power (around 10 hours) with a big sillage and projection.
Not totally unique, but a great choice if you're looking to a good oud+roses combination which does not smell medicinal.
Only after several full wears i could realize there is a animalic note that joins the composition in about 1 hour, which sometimes smells sour in my skin.
Totally unisex in my opinion.
