I'm gonna have to get out of line...
Armani Code Colonia was enclosed with my perfume 2 years ago as a sample for a perfume purchase at Douglas. Until then, I was only familiar with the original code from the series, which I had really celebrated earlier. It was the Ladkiller bad now and in its time the better One Million with an exaggerated durability. All the others I surely had under my nose, but never had the occasion to buy them. But back to Colonia... Why this one is so badly rated, I can't explain...? I was completely convinced by the sample... I already like sweet and fresh scents that are a bit different. That's exactly what Armani Code Colonia gives me! The Code DNA is definitely recognizable here and one can easily draw parallels. But despite the certain similarity Colonia is somehow different... I find the top note most interesting and would have liked the freshness of bergamot, orange and pink pepper to last longer. I find the pink pepper in the head extremely good and perfectly balanced, which makes the fragrance a bit spicy besides the fresh sweetness. Horny!!! Unfortunately this great composition fades away quite fast and the other notes are already in the middle of the sweet doughy Tonka bean rolled over... Lavender and heliotrope swing along quietly until the end. But all in all the scent is very pleasant and I find it very successful and sexy. The durability is neither very good nor bad for a "fresh scent"... On my skin it lasts with 4 sprayers about 4-6 h depending on the weather. The Sillage is well perceptible in the first 1-2h, after that he gets close to my skin. This is io could be better but compared to the price (Davidoff Cool Water Intense shows how). I only use it as a recreational scent because I use scents for work that can accompany me throughout the working day. In summary, it is modern, it is sexy, it is fun to wear, it brings compliments, yes it could last longer because it is quite expensive, I just like the DNA and think it is cool

For the next generation
It was not long ago, when I was with my girlfriend again in the city with the aim to buy clothes. It was a beautiful summer day in July and we walked from shop to shop to buy some more nice clothes for the Croatia holiday. In the course of the shopping tour we passed the miller and I saw in the shop window a poster of Davidoff advertising the new Cool Water Intense. Curious as I am, of course I had to find out immediately what it was all about. So we went inside and went to the shelf where it was standing. I had no great expectations and was firmly convinced that it was a more intense version of the original. So I put it on the test strip and took a full nose. The first thing that came to my mind was holiday, sun, sea and umbrella drink on the beach. After that followed a short goose bump, which I only have with scents that flash and appeal to me 100%. This one is so horny I thought and passed it on to my girlfriend. She smelled and said at the same time, you had to get it, it smells prono! So first the 40ml grabbed and off to the checkout and paid. When we arrived at home I had to test it of course. My girlfriend told me that the whole flat smells of me. Wicked...and that with only 2 sprayers! I am still totally thrilled how potent and radiant this scent is. The durability 12h+ and the Sillage are for a fragrance that costs just 20€ just intense. There are scents that cost three or four times that and don't last even a fraction of the time like this. This is already impressively done, and for me the best price-performance ratio in the perfume world at the moment. The fragrance itself starts citric fresh, with a slight sweetness that is not at all obtrusive. After a short time, coconut and amber join in, giving the fragrance a slightly sweet creamy texture. This has nothing to do with the original, but I don't think that's a bad thing. I think that this Cool Water is meant for the new generation and it was not The goal was to establish an Intense version of a worn-out classic. Here, only the name and the design was taken over to save costs... Anyway, this fragrance is more than successful and I count it among my absolute favorites.

A forgotten love
It must have been around 2010 when I first noticed this fragrance. I was at Douglas at the time, looking for a good everyday scent. I had tried many and somehow there was nothing for me. I remember that a nice advisor took care of me and gave me the diesel directly with the words "have you already seen this one? It would suit you". Diesel and perfume, what would that be, I thought, and tested it directly on the back of my hand. The first impression was, wow... That's intense So I gave him a few seconds to unfold and smelled again. A symphony of gray frog and anise mixed with a touch of lavender enveloped my olfactory cells. I had never smelled anything like it before. But I was always on the safe side and used scents that you could smell on every second person on the street. This was something completely new and I decided to use this scent. I loved this scent and I associate many great memories with it. When the bottle was empty, I looked for something new, I think it was Boss Orange? At that time I was still so adjusted that I didn't want to commit myself to one thing... Now almost 10 years later, I have rediscovered the scent for me. It was back at Douglas when I was shopping with my girlfriend and wanted to show her my young wild scent that I used to love. So I sprayed it on the test strip and immediately had a flashback. You could smell the hot one, I thought and passed it on to my girlfriend... Your reaction, boar he is great! I just thought to myself in this moment, why did I neglect him so much? And there she was again, the old love! I first took the 50ml, because I couldn't estimate whether the scent had been reformulated in the meantime or not... I bought and tested it extensively at home and had to find out that nothing had changed. Meanwhile it is the king in my collection and I even bought a second bottle. This scent will definitely accompany me for a few more years, because it is awesome. The H&S is above average and comes across best in spring and summer. My fuel for life i love you.

Bleu de Sauvage???
Actually I have always been an opponent of the Sauvage series. I thought they were too intrusive and synthetically pungent. But here I have to admit to myself that I am now completely addicted to it. I had not really discovered it, it was made palatable to me in the form of a sample. It was a sunny and slightly windy, yet warm autumn day last year. My girlfriend and I were travelling in the beautiful city of Weimar. Actually, we were only here to stroll a little through the city and the park and afterwards have a coffee in an old town cafe. We walked past the miller and somehow I felt the urge to sniff a few scents. So we went in and off we went. After many rehearsals I got stuck in the Chanel corner and had Bleu de Chanel Edt wrapping which I liked very much. Then I went on and kept my friend company again who discovered a shower gel in the sale where she already has the perfume. So I took it and went with her to the checkout to buy it for her. It can be done, I think. :) Anyway, the nice saleswoman added a sample of Dior Sauvage. Actually I wanted to say that they can keep it, but I rejected the idea and thanked them. Arrived at home, I had to test the sample of course, and gave a spray on the back of my hand, with the aim of washing it off again immediately... But I gave him the chance and it was the right decision as I realized. So I smelled my hand and I had a flashback right away... That's just... No, it's not Bleu de Chanel? But somehow they resemble each other. This creamy fruitiness with shower gel violet reminded me quite strongly of this one. Anyway...I thought to myself and continued to smell my hand, slowly developing a little love for this fragrance. The sauvage DNA is definitely present but it is not as pungent as in the edt and edp. I also find it more elegant and somewhat quieter than the others, which I like. So I decided to buy it, which I did, as I could buy the 60ml for just 56€ at Flaconi. The durability is unbelievably good for me and far over +12h present. The sillage is not as strong as in the edt and edp but still remarkable. You definitely stand out and are regularly sniffed at and showered with compliments. Definitely a solid fragrance with an addictive factor that is perfect for the autumn winter spring. My absolute favourite in my collection
