Delicate everyday fragrance with somewhat short shelf life
I'm currently looking for a fragrance that I've had in my nose a few times so far and that I've been very impressed by passers-by. The fragrance has been around for a while, but I don't know what it is. Then I was in a drugstore and smelled something that reminded me strongly of it.
Problem: I couldn't remember what it was.
Solution: I told dear BlaueMaus about it and we went on a search and are still looking/guessing.
Sequence of endearment: A bottle of Armani Code.
Spoiler: Great scent, but it wasn't him.

I remember that the really great fragrance contains orange blossom and vanilla. You have that here too, which is why Mrs. Mouse came up with the idea that it must be this one.
The first step has been taken and I think I'll find "the other one" again. If anyone wants to give me a tip, please let me know ;)

Now to Armani: The fragrance is really beautiful. It is floral and warm and not overpowering.
At least for me, it doesn't undergo a transformation. I think that's completely okay. I'd rather have a relatively consistent perfume that I like all the time than a fragrance whose drydown wears me out.
The Armani smells lovely and then disappears without a word and without much fuss. It doesn't cling too strongly to clothing and after showering, everything is completely gone that you could perhaps still perceive with great effort. But that doesn't have to be a bad thing. Not everyone likes it when their clothes still smell of a fragrance after washing. That's not a criterion for me, but the overall durability is.
Unfortunately, it doesn't last as long on my skin as I would like it to. After 4-5 hours, the magic is completely over - I would have liked more. That can be quite nice, but I prefer a fragrance to last a little longer. Especially when I'm in the office or have plans. It would be nice if it could last a little longer.

In addition to the warm vanilla and the floral orange blossom, the fragrance has something citrusy about it, which could be bitter orange. To my nose, I don't detect any unappealing notes. I tolerate the fragrance well, I don't get headaches, I don't sneeze and my skin tolerates it really well. For me, this is a harmonious composition that I enjoy smelling. However, I wouldn't buy the beautifully designed bottle.

I tested it in everyday life in warmer and very autumnal temperatures and found both to be suitable. The fragrance is rather close to the body and doesn't create a wave.

A nice companion for everyday wear (in the office), for sport (I haven't tried it) and for leisure. Beautiful, not intrusive, harmonious. I enjoyed using my bottle, but am not endlessly sad that it is empty.

A confused path to this fragrance - A confused commentary
Many years ago I was a student, had no money, but wanted to have a perfume collection. Since there were incredibly many crap purchases:
- 1€ Dupes from Woolworth
- imitated fragrances from 2 online stores, one of which claimed to be high quality (since the flacons arrived partially expired, so high quality was that, but you could at least claim everything, I just have no idea more, how they were called, but that does not matter. :D )
- i had my 5€/10€ favorites from Rossmann and Co. and have me gladly durchgeschnuppert there
- moreover, I was then still Yves Rocher customer and there were many fragrances free.

So I came with my little money to a (from my point of view) numerically quite decent collection. That was after I discovered Parfumo, before I always had so 1, 2 perfumes and that was okay.

One day I was at dm and looked around, what was so new. I needed a mascara and stood at essence. Since I saw a fragrance: "Like a Walk in the Summer Rain" he was called and I liked very very well. Came in my basket and I was happy. Of course, it was discontinued, because there is unfortunately very much short-lived ...
Then I looked around for alternatives and was found only this year at Elizabeth Arden - "Sunflowers". Unfortunately, I do not like the fragrance so much, because he is somehow too much of everything and for me not as coherent smells, as I would like to have. He is for me also not what the small of essence was.
So I entertained myself with the dear Blauemaus, which is always a good place for me to go for everything. :) She said, "Try Escape, I'll send you something." No sooner said than done. A fragrance package arrived and it included a bottling to Escape. So that's how I ended up with Escape. Already a long way, right?

Then it went to testing. Escape rausgeholt, aufgesprüht, sniffed. Nanu? This is not a Sunflowers ... This is also no Walk in the Summer Rain. This is... Can it be? To have this great scent back in my nose after all these years? Is it possible?
I take here quite sound the EdT of Ming Shu of Yves Rocher was. My absolute favorite, which I used to wear up and down. I needed no other (well, at that time I also had no money, because I was child / teenager with pocket money, but I was completely satisfied with the one fragrance).
Then I took the cell phone in hand and wrote to the dear Mrs. Mouse: "A great fragrance, reminds me of Ming Shu." Ming Shu is no longer produced for a very very long time and I was happy to have found a fragrance here that reminds me of it, spreads good mood and accompanies me peacefully through the day. I do not want to have youth nostalgia here, I can safely do without that, but the fragrance is just beautiful.
What replied Mrs. Mouse: "If you want him, you better get him quickly. It's been discontinued." WHAT??? NOOOOO!!! Please don't! Why do you separate young happiness right away? (So young in the figurative sense, you know. :D ) Maybe I'll bunker down some more of that, maybe not. I would like to have it, but can I stand the pain of separation again, which I had to go through with Ming Shu back then? :( What if they take a darling away from me again? Just like that... Jean-Paul already did that with the EdP to Classique. :/ Nasty thing in any case. I'll probably get myself another bottle of Issey Miyake. Let's see if the may stay longer.

So and after all the gibberish now finally to the fragrance. :D
Thank you very much, Mrs. Mouse, for the filling. :)
The fragrance is wonderfully delicate, floral, fresh, aquatic. The composition is very coherent. Unlike Sunflowers (which for me is a completely different fragrance. Hold them side by side, they are completely different.) nothing is too much or too little here. The scents are wonderfully coordinated and they caress you for a very long time. For such a fresh fragrance, it really holds very very well. Great what the Calvin has done here. Until now, I had always associated him only with men's underwear. Back then still with the campaign with Backham. My goodness, it's all a long time ago. Mr. Klein probably thought so too and thinks that the fragrance can go away. Is probably no longer contemporary. I think that's such a shame. There is also much that may remain and here I would wish it, but wishes are also only hollow air and it will not affect anyone. Maybe there will be a time when such fragrances are in again. One must wait and see.
The fragrance reminds me (as already mentioned) of my then favorite Ming Shu, which Yves Rocher took out of the range many years ago. If you like aquatic, fresh scents, you can't go wrong here. Escape is not soapy, not intrusive, not annoying. It's there, but doesn't punch you in the nose. It puts a smile on my face and I'm glad I still got to know it.

I tolerate it very well. My skin likes him, my nose likes him. Everything fits. No headaches, no sneezing, everything is great.

The bottle I had not in hand and can judge him only from the picture. The is a bit too plain for me and my brain wonders that the fragrance water is yellowish-golden instead of light blue. That would suit him better.

The durability is super and the fragrance accompanies you gently through the day. I like him very much and wear him now already the fourth day in a row. That create the fewest. I perceive him all day.

For me, a fragrance that always goes. Such fragrances there should be more.

In brief:
Fragrance: Fresh, aquatic, not soapy, elegant
Durability: Very good, especially because the scent is so fresh
Compatibility: No irritation on the skin or in the nose
Additional info: There are probably only remnants sold :O

For the toilet and shoes
I once had a phase where I had to have everything "clean". I have scanned every product, ingredients checked and then decided whether I may buy it. Is also good in itself, if one pays attention to things, but there I had overdone it.
In this phase, this fragrance from Alverde came into my apartment and I found him okay. Okay for what he is. A natural fragrance.
But actually the creaminess is not so my world. I wore him for a long time and used here and there, but I never warmed up to it. He smells namely rather something covered and hides, if you want to say so. Is a very flat composition, as you would probably expect.

Actually, with floral-creamy also everything is already said. More is not there. Does not go through any development, has no special flacon design, is okay from the durability.

With me he was allowed in the meantime as a toilet spray or shoe perfume ran. As a perfume he clogs me everything too much. Not really clog, in the sense of "the nose is too", but many creamy fragrances cause me such a "braking" in the nose and do not go so well "down".

Must not have from my point of view.

Uncertain
I actually like to divide my world into black and white. Yes, there is probably also gray, but with the flood that catches up with you in everyday life, I really like these two categories. Above all, it saves time.

Anyway, I'll probably have to open the gray drawer here. I'm not sure. Actually, with perfume it's like this: I like it or I don't like it.
Here it's both. I think it's good and nice for summer, but somehow not good enough. As I said in the statement: somehow something is not quite right for me here. The fragrance perhaps wants too much. Could a few notes have been left out? Do you really need all that?

I came across this fragrance because I really liked "Like a walk in the summer rain" when I was a student. Perfect for summer. Clean, fresh, I liked it.
Sunflowers is similar, but still different. I miss a bit more lightness for this cruel time of year when so many stink and I just want to dig in until summer is over.

I can't put my finger on it or put it into words, but my nose is not entirely satisfied. Maybe it's a bit too much fruit. That would be conceivable.

The bottle is extremely plain and I'm not a fan of the spray head. But it fits in with the rest. We're not talking about €50+ or anything like that. So that's okay. But the design is too simple for me. I would have liked more effort.

The longevity is okay, considering that it's a fresh summer fragrance. You can also reapply during the day.

I tolerate it well. Sometimes I sneeze, but everyone does.

Doesn't taste good at all, by the way. The spray head was the wrong way round and then it went on my face instead of the other side. ¯_(ツ)_/¯

All in all, I wasn't convinced and was allowed to move on and was assigned to one of my two drawers after all. Hooray!!! My world has a system again.

That's terrible...
What the hell has happened here? I love the EdT, I loved the old EdP, which I unfortunately never bought.
Naive as I sometimes am, I recently ordered this version without much thought. I hadn't noticed any reformulation and I thought I couldn't go wrong.

Far from it! This "fragrance" may be called Classique, but it doesn't deserve the name at all. It is neither elegant nor beautiful.
This water in the wrong guise can't do anything and that disappoints me deeply. How can you let something like this pass? :-(

What comes out of the bottle is not Classique. If you look, you can find a very light note, but it could also be a cheap dupe.

It smells like cheap soap, like an unappealing composition... and somehow more like a men's perfume.

I'm so disappointed, I can't say any more about it. This is a cheek.

As always, the bottle is beautiful, but the contents are not. I've now layered two sprays of the EdT over it to make it last, but I think I'll have to take a shower during my lunch break.
