A New Interpretation of the Classic: “Y (Eau de Parfum Intense)” by Yves Saint Laurent

French luxury fashion house Yves Saint Laurent introduces a new, more intense version of the popular original fragrance.

Top notes open with invigorating bergamot, spicy juniper berry and pungent ginger. The heart note unfolds a bouquet of fresh lavender, floral geranium accords and the herbaceous freshness of sage. The composition is rounded off by a warm accord of cedarwood, Indonesian patchouli and fresh woody vetiver.

Yves Saint Laurent describes "Y (Eau de Parfum Intense)" as a more intense version of the original fragrance "Y (Eau de Parfum)". By accentuating juniper berry and patchouli, the creation is said to contain a new spicy twist and smell longer.

The successful "Y" collection began in 1964 with the women's fragrance "Y (Parfum)", which was also Yves Saint Laurent's first perfume. Since then, the brand has continuously expanded the series. In 2017, the masculine variant "Y (Eau the Toilette)" appeared for the first time, followed by "Y (Eau de Parfum)". Last year, the luxury brand introduced the fresh-sweet fragrance "Y (2022) (Eau de Toilette)".

"Y (Eau de Parfum Intense)" is presented in a classy midnight blue tinted glass bottle. The design, with its characteristic Y-shaped indentation, was created by Suzanne Dalton.

The fragrance is available in bottle sizes of 40 ml, 60 ml and 100 ml.
