Well, I've been on this forum for 8-9 years now and I've left the commenting to other people who are better at it, the way some people describe a scent or smell the notes is just unbelievable and great for me.
Describing a fragrance is not my thing at all, but I have already tested a lot over the years and have especially noticed which notes I like.
Amber is probably the note I love the most, but this one has to be really fine tuned.
This is usually the case with rather high-quality fragrances like this.
Many I have tested with this note and whoever looks at my collection could think that, for the fact that the dear Mr. Amber is so great, he has not really many Amber fragrances in his collection, let alone one that represents the note as much as this Amber Star.
Why is this so?
Well, if you smelled that Amber Star and you love Amber... well, then you don't need another amber scent
It is the most beautiful I have ever smelled, and that by far from all the other fragrances in this category.
This perfect work by Xerjoff is a real dream, wonderfully sweet, somehow a bit spicy, extremely soft but brutally durable, perfect sillage, not unnecessarily room filling, elegant and simply high quality.
2014 in winter I wore it for the first time and everyone was blown away, friends who don't like perfume were amazed and asked what I was wearing? It smells perfect and you have never smelled anything like it before, so I definitely didn't expect such a reaction
Unfortunately I couldn't buy a bottle at that time, it was much too expensive and 2 years later when money wasn't the problem anymore, I honestly refused to pay the price of 650€, just because there is the other one I didn't want at all
6 years it had lasted now and then a nice lady wrote me here in the forum and offered me her bottle, I did not hesitate for a second, thanked for this offer as I never did before, the price was mentioned and I do not discuss a second and sent the money as fast as never before.

To offer this fragrance in a set is meant for a specific purpose, as I have often heard from others here, both should be worn together.
Xerjoff, why would I do that? It doesn't need the other one when this one is so beautiful!?
This is how a brand loses potential customers, because many people would buy the flacon earlier than in a set if it was available individually.
e.g. 350€ for this one and it would probably sell 10x more often, but that should not be my problem.
I have my bottle now and I'm happy
If I should write a comment then it must be this fragrance, those were the words to myself, if then first or only with this one!
