Flatters the senses very much.
Muscat wine in a glass,
Wooden floorboards fragrance,
Saffron confectionery on silver tray
With rose in the center.

Soft metallic rose.
Not a bit freezing cold, but enveloping warm. Like silver jewellery warmed on the skin.
The scent is nostalgic, but stable. It carries you through the day / evening / moment...

...I'm through another scent. Enthusiastic about the she-wolf ( Louve ) of Serge Lutens I absolutely wanted to try the "male" version. The scent surprised me at first, then confused me
and then fascinated. And indeed I found parallels to the Louve, but that's another story.
And now for our wolf scent:
"Werewolf. A miraculous transformation into a vegetarian".
Turned on by the bitter liquorice schnapps, the werewolf haunts the forest in search of something to eat. Whether nuts or seeds, all the fruits of the forest are good for him now.
Even fir cone liqueur cannot satisfy his hunger. Only the found honeycomb gradually calms him down. Woody forest scent dulls his mind, myrrh smoke numbs the senses. He sinks onto the soft moss bed and falls asleep peacefully.
He will not be the same after awakening.

It was the famous fluke.
The perfume was not on my wishlist, nor was it on my watch list, I haven't even heard of it.
With weekly stroll by perfumeries, actually on the search for a rose smell (not again...!), I discovered it then. There was no test bottle, no test test sample and the saleswoman had no idea. Unfortunately there were no comments at Parfumo, not even statements.
Do what? Blind buy! But this time a well done one.
The fragrance starts with a strong black tea note, which remains present until the end. Directly after that comes the rose. This is a tea rose ( oh no, what a coincidence! :-)), more precisely, tea peony. It is pale pinkish orange, already half withered, slightly sweetish scent, with a subtle citrus note. Immediately afterwards, the currants come into play and the fragrance almost threatens to wilt. But it does not happen. The scent remains, on the edge, but unchanged. With time it becomes woody, the black tea note appears softer, rounded. Rose stays also until the end, but this is no longer a flower, but only loose rose petals.
It's a fragrance to get down, to relax. It calms the mind and brightens the spirit
Very helpful, especially in these times;-)

... or not?
Fleeting start: the rose flies by, then the raspberry. What remains are the peppercorns tingling on the skin, dry but pleasant.
And...? That's all you had to do...? The hell it was! The rose comes back and stays. It's pink and delicate, but not girly, dry and cool, but not a diva.
Soon the raspberry joins them, minimally sweet, rather citrusy.
This mixture stays on the skin for a long time, not a bit intrusive, discreet and level-headed
The fragrance still remains cool and dry without being disturbing. And when you hardly notice it anymore, a light breeze comes, which brings a touch of roses with it.
It has substance, the beautiful tender rose. It doesn't just blow away. It stays there.

Conclusion: Unique fragrance with addictive potential.
