well, now it's happened.....Patou has been sold again, and to LVMH, of all people.
And what happened? The perfumes are history! No more 1000, no more Sublime, and no more JOY.

Without a doubt, JOY was the most fun-loving, modern rose fragrance to be had. Absolutely timeless and opulently feminine. A green-fresh rose composition, which got a great, earthy note with time - by the iris root.

When I was allowed to sell the first time Patou perfumes, I quickly noticed the difference between a well-heeled buyer who has gladly spent a little more money on eg Chanel and also wanted to put a big name in the bathroom, and a really filthy rich customer who paid without batting an eyelid the (at that time still ) almost double price ggüber Chanel to buy her JOY, from a brand that most young bucks already at that time no longer knew.

Aficionados should strike quickly, because there are still bottles in circulation.

Idols for the label Lancome from the house L'Oreal is as superfluous as the whole "eau nuits", "essence de parfums", "l'eaus" ubd what else comes so from their Chemiekpche.

How does Idole smell? I think: Idole is an absolutely trivial, banal, fatal, run-of-the-mill rose fragrance, with no durability, no character and no sophistication.
Rose, pear, jasmine.....a floral mishmash that could have been used for fabric softener, hand cream, body milk or a face cream. Totally arbitrary, non-intrusive, a mass-produced product for girls young and old. And Lancome, at the launch, once again - and as always! - as if they had reinvented the wheel!

Whether the fragrance now comes as a perfume, L'eau, Intense or Essence daherkommt, is completely irrelevant - it is only marketing water without its own message, and if any of the variations does not sell as desired, it disappears again in the sink.

Hold does not really the fragrance, and develop on the skin also nix. Idole is an indefinable flower slush Not fish, not flesh.

Womanity was the last feat of Thierry Mugler with his direct involvement.
Fig over all, naturally derived, not synthesized, and refined with a slightly salty "caviar note" - that's all it is.

How much I hated this fragrance! For me, an infernal stench! Memories of sweat and baby fruit pulp were awakened in me! Simply disgusting!

Because many felt it so, still under Clqrins the product range was cut down to a reference. And then began the hunt of customers for the sparse leftovers.

And you know what I noticed then? Just as with Angel and Alien, the clientele here was quite loyal. And with ALL without exception Womanity smelled absolutely sexy, something fresh-fruity and really absolutely delicious! We had to ask again and again with the ladies, whether that is really Womanity, that is wafted from them to us.....

We then began to Womanity not only briefly sprayed on or washed off immediately after skin contact, but gave the fragrance a lot of time to develop on the skin, and it worked for all - at least female - test subjects! Womanity really smelled like pure femininity.

And who likes fig fragrances, will definitely have fun with Womanity.

Full marks for this unrecognized fragrance.
ps: The fragrance tilts quite quickly! Stored too warm or too long, and he develops a biting note. At the latest when the color changes, he is gone! Absolutely make sure not to buy old goods, and no old testers spray.

Yes, he does look odd. But his current face was preceded by an accident! Nose and most of the face were smashed, and it took the best surgeons to restore it. So shame on you for these comments.

Alien is the most successful fragrance from Mugler in Germany. In all other countries Angel is in front.

Just like Angel one loves or hates Alien. Ultra soft jasmine and a good portion of amber. More is more! And more you do not perceive basically. It doesn't really change on the skin either. But that's not bad, because who uses Alien, would also like to smell like Alien and the whole district should get that too!

Who loves Alien, should buy if possible the production batches before 2020 ( mostly these still carry the original lettering "Thierry Mugler" ), because what L'Oréal has done with the reformulation is a literal disaster.

The bottle is reminiscent of a hip flask, and the kissiness of a long-aged cognac. But that was it then already.

The fragrance starts indefinably fresh + sparkling, but immediately turns into a biting smoky note that fades quite quickly despite the intensity. My first association was lighter fuel.

Since the Gucci has gone to Coty / P&G, great fragrance favorites were taken out of the range or greatly reduced + reformulated, and what has been re-released for both women and men, is a single disaster.
Arbitrary fragrance garbage, no matter whether there is Gucci, Boss, Jil Sander, Escada or D&G draufsteht.
