cool water deluxe / supplement

When Aventus came on the market in 2010, the 75ml bottle cost 130 euro and the bestseller of the house was Silver Mountain Water.
Aventus was there, was on the shelf, but hardly anyone who was looking for niche fragrances at the time was interested. Aventus was then far too much mainstream and unfortunately too little perfume art.
Everything starts with the obligatory bergamot note. That works well with other manufacturers ( eg Bvlgari. All new fragrances start with a fruity bergamot note ). Citrus always bring a good mood and make you want "more".
In Aventus then follow quite mundane woody notes, and finally some oak moss cavorts in the base note.

I say: refined goes differently.
And sorry Boys, Aventus has the same problem as almost all Creed fragrances: the formulation is simple+simple, and the durability is below average.

Of course, I tried Aventus myself at the time, and in no time it was gone.
Various other reviews here also describe quite comprehensibly how the intensity of the fragrance has declined sharply over the years.
When I get with acquaintances in conversation and they tell me proudly that they wore their Aventus today and the fragrance is soooo great, then I smell also: nothing.

Aventus is like Cool Water, only as a deluxe version: many people like the fragrance, it is pleasing, without corners and edges, but in my opinion lacks in the special. It is a run-of-the-mill fragrance.
For this, the marketing is good.

Addendum:
1) the review I wrote not so that someone finds it "good" or "bad". It is my, largely subjective opinion about Aventus in detail and Creed as a whole.

2) The points rating is based on the "image" of this fragrance, according to which it should be something completely special, extraordinary, never-before-seen. For this "hype" he smells like everyday fragrance and has therefore earned only 1 star, besonderd if you take the current price iHv over 200 euros dazunimmt.

My first own fragrance
In the midst of my high school graduation stress in 1997, I came across A*Men. So there it was, the silver bottle with sky-blue box and iconic Thierry Mugler lettering, and I had to test it, fall in love with shock and buy it immediately.

I already loved Angel! And finally there was an equally worthy men's fragrance!

This first fresh, somewhat biting top note, then pleasantly warm base note, the soft finish and the indescribably good durability were exactly as I had imagined a fragrance.

And today? Sometimes I put on A*Men still. And remember the beautiful time.

Let's see if L'Oréal can deal with the legacy of Thierry Mugler, or whether this brand now also adapts to the mainstream, is sold off or stamped in the long term....?!

First great love
LouLou was my first encounter with the subject of "perfume". I found the bottle indescribably beautiful and the fragrance has pleased me very well.
Floral, powdery, soft and velvety - to cuddle
Because it is nowmal a women's fragrance, I saved my pocket money and gave this perfume to my grandmother, who then always wore it on special occasions.

The price at the time was 75 DM, and unlike the bulky Eau de Parfum, the perfume was finer, softer and much more elegant. The difference was not just the mere concentration of fragrance oils, but it was a complete reformulation. But LouLou was anyway the child of a time when manufacturers still knew how to do fragrances "right".
