Joyeux Noël
At Lush's, I had a sniff through the small, fine fragrance department. If I could be helped, I replied with a request for Christmas scent. So I was handed "What would love do?" and I was blissfully happy. No, I do not smell lavender. Tangerine and benzoin all the more! A merry evening at the Christmas market doesn't smell very different. Although I can't say it is a total gourmand, it is more a mixture of Christmassy fruity and balsamic scents, but that's exactly what makes my nose happy.
Luckily I have a wonderful friend who listens attentively and brought me the fragrance that I fell in love with as a gift. I now have it as a solid perfume as well and am delighted with its durability and elegance. It accompanies me especially now, when it gets colder.
However, it should also be said that fragrances are of course highly associative and it is certainly possible that many here associate other things with "what would love do", possibly even summer, sun, holidays. For me, however, this incense resinous balsam base with tangerine is simply the ultimate autumn and winter scent.
I'm in love!

Unexpectedly often comes
You are the discovery of the Christmas market, last year, this year, every year!
Who would have thought that such an inconspicuous bottle would contain such exquisite things? Over the years I have often tested amber and even more often gourmet fragrances and for both my heart will always beat the highest, nevertheless there are perfumes in this squad that disappoint me. Admittedly, I didn't expect much from Provence&Nature, simply because I know from experience that natural scents don't last long, are weak on the chest, and simply don't do enough for my taste - I'm more of a karaoke type :-)) Ambre Vanillé was given to me by my friend at the Christmas market because he was convinced that it was exactly "mine" and I must say he was right! Giving perfume as a present is always something like that, I have already received fragrances that I didn't really like. But this one is perfect for my taste. I really like "Ambre précieux" by Maître Parfumeur et Garnier, the most beautiful amber scent for me. Ambre vanilla has exactly the opulent powdery amber note that I like. The vanilla gives a cozy sweetness without being overloaded. I dare to say that the fragrance is not only pleasing to gourmand fans, because even if it goes in that direction, it is "deep" enough. Balsamic, resinous amber definitely dominates here and I can warmly recommend a test at the next Christmas market (hopefully this year).
I was convinced by its durability, as well as the silage, because it is one of the fragrances I am most attracted to and which I have been called "good smelling"

Whiskey in a cuddly barrel
I cannot understand the negative flood of evaluations. This fragrance knocks me out from second 1; there's nothing artificial, a lot of sexy elegance and an innovative approach that even your sacred niche fragrances lack. From the very first spray, you notice soft whiskey in the light cask, it smells cuddly and delicious. Images of the Scottish Highlands, a bearded man with a rough skin and a big heart comes to mind. This is how my partner should smell, this is how my partner should be. A pleasant interplay of cashmere, light wood and good bourbon, which reminds of a fuller, softer "By the Fireplace".
Fragrances are and will remain a matter of taste, but I increasingly have the feeling that pseudo experts are pro niche and against mainstream on principle. This fragrance shows how stupid that is

Comfortably soft and warm
The advertising video of the fragrance surprises me negatively - what's the point? This scent has absolutely nothing objectionable or provocative for me. On the contrary, it is simply a cuddly scent like a cashmere blanket. Personally, I don't smell as much gourmand as the others, and I'm an absolute gourmand lover. From the hazelnut cream, I mainly smell the cream; Angel's cuddly sister appears velvety soft and remains elegant. I recommend everybody who is afraid of too sweet edible scents but still wants to try something more full-bodied than aquatic and floral water to have a sniff here. I do notice Angel's Patchouli, an unsweet nut cream, slightly bitter cocoa bean and also a few herbs that are indefinable to me. I don't really see any trace of fruit, I can only detect a certain acidity. The scent remains quite similar, towards the end it gets at most a little softer than at the beginning. All in all a great, softer, brighter rod, with a good silage and durability. I like it better than the original, even the bottle is impressive! However, I find this advertising campaign completely incomprehensible and I think it is a disgrace for such a fragrance

A bouquet of satin
Thanks to the new service from Flaconi, I was able to order this fragrance blind and then test it at my leisure. Cashmere Bouquet Nights smells like my Arabic acquaintance, and a little like Maroussia. I could swear it has a pinch of leather in it, and a few flower stems to start with. I don't know what cashmere*wood* smells like, but I do have a cashmere sweater in my closet with an amber scented bag hanging next to it, and the two in combination really do create something like Jesus del Pozo's scent.
So mostly I smell things that aren't there. A light bit of leather, Amber, and a mini mini pinch of my mentioned friend when he shaved.

All in all a really pleasant scent, I like something so arabic opulent. But here comes the big drawback: while scents like Maroussia or Opium are sniffed from a distance of 3 km, this one is a tender kiss that hardly touches the skin. I didn't even have enough time to test it until the end, when it was gone again.
Unfortunately I sent it back, because for the money I buy 10 Maroussias or save on a ticket to the Orient
