Four years ago I first heard about the JG edp. The girl told me how seductive he should be and already I clicked through the internet, he landed in my shopping cart and I ordered him blind. He was thrown after you at the time. 40 ml for under 20€, I could hardly do anything wrong. A few days passed and I could hardly wait to let him move in and test him. And then it was finally time... the carton not really appealing, the bottle for it even more. For that alone it was worth the money, but of course the content should be right. At least I wanted to smell seductive. So take him in the arm...

The prelude stings a little in my nose, but it quickly fades away. Then a cherry comes through a cloud of incense. This will stay that way for a while. Towards the end, the fragrance becomes a little more powdery, but still nicely smoky. Wow! In my nose pure seduction, attractive and mysterious.
Cherry was never anything that knocked me out before (and I am always surprised that I smell it so clearly, although it is not in it at all) and incense was not really known to me at that time. I was crazy and still am today when I spray it on.

It lasts very long on my skin and is very well perceptible. However, it should be dosed discreetly, otherwise it quickly becomes too intrusive and heavy.

Shortly afterwards I bought the 60ml bottle, although I wasn't interested in bunkering at that time. And then at some point I heard that production was discontinued.

Why are the best fragrances almost always adjusted or reformulated? A question I don't think anyone can ever answer.

So I was really lucky that I had stashed it.
And what happened to me today? I sprayed it up again for the first time after last winter. How much I missed him.
Out of pure curiosity I looked for how much Euro he meanwhile goes over the "counter". Over 140€ for a small bottle. Not bad. And then my eye suddenly discovered a supplier who offered a new bottle for 35€...only one bottle in stock. I couldn't believe my luck! Go to the shopping cart and now no second hesitate and buy. Don't blink, or someone else might be faster and Zack... bought... now I sit here smiling happily in front of me and can hear the glitter in my eyes! Happy me :)

As probably everyone has noticed, the summer this year is hot...seeeeevery hot! So hot that even when you breathe you start sweating and even your underwear is too much clothing.
But as soon as the first high has left us (which also stayed over Germany for several weeks), it comes back tomorrow, at least in my corner.
The thought alone makes me sweat again... D

I must say, I love heavy and sweet scents. But I also love summer. But in this one doesn't even get to think about heavy scents at all. So somehow I miss autumn after all. What a conflict... D

Well... so like me I get to write a comment for a fragrance where everyone knows that you should wear it only in autumn and winter!?
Today I received a parcel. There was a 100 ml bottle in this package. A red apple with the inscription Hypnotic Poison.

Eight years ago I wanted this perfume for Christmas and under the tree was the version HP Eau Sensuelle.
"Oh, no, that's the wrong smell." It slipped out. (I am actually always grateful for everything and the only one from our family who cries first, for joy or grief. I'm just built close to the water.)
My mother, who had bought it for me, I think was a little surprised and disappointed. Understandable, because the 100ml bottle was not exactly cheap.
I sprayed it on myself and was still directly in love! My mother got a big kiss and both sides were happy and satisfied again. Even after eight years the scent is still in my collection (plus bunker in the cupboard, because it was taken out and I already had snap breath according to the info). So it will probably stay that way for a long time, after all, you don't need much of it when you apply it and it is only used in autumn and winter.

Now after eight years the "normal" HP reaches me. Almost blindly ordered, because I, since my last test eight years ago, had not got him under the nose any more (at least not consciously).
Today it was a pleasant 19 degrees Celsius, so I didn't hesitate long and sprayed it directly on my arm. Yes, half a sprayer will do. He went right up my nose. Woooow, what a fragrance! The scent has it in it and envelops me directly in an almond vanilla cloud. Tasty, tasty, tasty!! I could do it myself... let's leave it! D

Now I am sitting here on my couch, cuddled up with this delicious scent and am mega happy to finally have it in my collection after all these years. It's a pity that tomorrow it will be 30 degrees again and he has to take a back seat in my closet until further notice until I can carry him again. For today however I am glad that he is here with me, I can go to bed with him later and in the early then also still have him with me and must probably wash up first, so that nobody comes to harm :D
...and tomorrow at noon I'm looking forward to sunbathing in the garden again, with a light delicate scent (whichever it will be tomorrow)
