Not THAT dark
"DARK CHOCOLATE ROYALE" I was expecting a really dark chocolate fragrance, turns out it's still too sweet for my likings. I like my chocolate with 90% cocoa min, this isn't it plus it feels rather a food flavorizer then an actual fragrance (happens a lot with indie brands)...BUT it's still a very solid chocolate offering overall.

TImeless DNA
I felt in love immediately when i sprayed this perfume. There's something so classy and manly in this juice, the woods, the spices (mainly cloves), the bay leaf and the herbal freshness. It makes me feel homesick and my mind goes back in time: Christmas dinner with family, fire burning in the stove. It's not generic or mass-appealing yet very easy to wear and understand and it's REALLY cheap (like 70€ for 120ml cmon now). VIntage caron lovers and sucker for Eugenol....Try this one!

Manly & Classy
A fragrance that exudes macism. For the entire duration of the fragrance you're hit with a wall of rough, industrial and very petroleum-based leather, initially softened by citrus notes, then in the heart by lavender and cloves and in the end by woody hints in the base. It reminds me of various things, especially the scent of a new car interior or the smell of a new pair of leather shoes with a vibram rubber sole. It shares similarities with Pikovaya dama or Puredistance M, both inspired by great compositions of the past. Composition with a retro charm that did not convince me enough, no wow effect especially considering the price

Sweet Musky oud affair
On inititial spray I get a heavy projecting, dark, caramelized, buttery and rooty orris with patchoulol undertones and a musky and soily edge, love it
Then comes the tobacco, not your typical resinous sweet latino cigar one: it reminds me a lot of italian “Toscano”, so like a naturally fermented Kentucky one. Yes, this perfume has a lot of added sweetness but it does not come directly from the tobacco in my opinion. The drydown consists of a very soft, sweet and warm musky-viet oud tandem.
NFU reminded me a bit of Iris ghalia in the opening, sharing the musk and the orris, even to these two perfumes take totally different roads. Put it this way, iris ghalia to my nose smells like elegance, decadence, nobilty but also coldness. Notes from Underground smells like sexyness, wilderness, warmness and has a unique London gentlemen’s clubs vibe to it. Don't sleep on this release

New gen Upper Assam
A very well executed new gen Assam Hindi oud distillation. The brand shared all distillation details: Hydo-distilled in 2021 using hybrid pots(copper and steel), kept at costant low temperature for many days.
Now let's talk about the smell itself, 'cause oh dear this stuff is lovely! Jinko Lokma is for sure very heady like many others new gen oils from this region. It has tons of edible vibes to it, dripping honey, sweet glazed pastries immersed in a bed of coumarin and powdery vanilla No barn whatsoever.
Solid release from the brand, this oud will satisfy any gourmand lovers dreams
