After I had Moustache already longer time under observation, it was recently so far and I dared the blind purchase. Since I count Chypredüfte to my favorites, I was more than excited about the composition of Rochas.

With the rose was questionable, as this would finally be incorporated. But since I already know this component from various oud fragrances and have since learned to love, I was surprised at Moustache. At no point does it deny its delicate and delicate nature. The rose definitely comes through but in a much gentler and charming way than is the case with numerous pure rose scents.

Especially for the entry into the world of fragrances, Moustache thus represents the perfect choice for newcomers. Just in relation to the price, Moustache offers an incredibly high quality and sophistication, which can be compared with one or the other representative in the niche segment. If Moustache would be distributed under a different name by one of the leading niche suppliers, then this would certainly be one of the bestsellers!

Now that sounds like the all-inclusive package, doesn't it? Unfortunately not quite!

The quality is beyond doubt, only I have found with me and in my environment, the Moustache rather weak projections. Also the durability is rather average with me, so that my use is strongly limited by this. Moustache is therefore rather recommended as a dating fragrance. But also ideal for a visit to a fancy restaurant, where you do not want to stand out at any price with his fragrance. Due to the projection weakness, I recommend a slight overdose + fragrance on clothes, then you should come reasonably through the evening.

Overall, Moustache is a real gentleman fragrance, which is easier to like than similar representatives from the field. For all those who are still thinking, there is an absolute purchase recommendation from my side!

After using BdC in the EDT version, I also ventured to the EDP and perfume after a long time.

The EDT already distinguished itself as a reliable companion for the office and could more than prove itself in this scenario in my environment. However, this was never the go to for evening occasions! Here I always had other or better options in the collection. The DNA of BdC had me but so strongly fascinated, so I inevitably began to familiarize myself with the other versions.
If you ask the experts here on Parfumo which of the 3 is the best, you will get different opinions.

I, for one, can say from my perspective that Chanel has created probably the most versatile fragrance of recent years with the EDP. He is less citrus than the EDT, but projected almost at the same level, but at the same time also has a better durability. It can be worn to the office, as well as on a date or social occasion. The bandwidth reaches quasi from the jeans to the suit. In addition, the seasons here seem to play absolutely no role. I can think of few fragrances that are so strongly season independent. Blue goes just always!

Who is now asking the EDP or the perfume, I can only advise the money for the surcharge to save! Both are very similar, with almost identical performance. The only concise difference I could make out, was the slightly darker touch of the perfume. Just that makes him for me less versatile and a pure evening - Ausgehduft.

All the above points make the EDP for me the best blue fragrance that is currently available for purchase. BdC is in contrast to some fragrances like Sauvage timeless and will still be worn in the next 10 years. This is mainly due to the balanced composition of Mr. Polge, who has earned a monument for this masterpiece. Merci and chapeau Jacques!

This fragrance has been on the market since the 80's and has remained almost unchanged. After 2.5 decades and - still - countless celebrity fans, one can say that GIT is still a real option for gentlemen and those who want to become one.

GIT is not a fragrance that you apply to impress or seduce others. It is rather a fragrance that you wear to smell good and serious, the rest is done by your personality and your appearance. It's an incredibly versatile fragrance that you can wear from January to December, 24/7 without feeling out of place. That's why older men in particular have been using it as a signature fragrance for decades.

If we were in our old age. Which is very noticeable, Creed's best scents tend to appeal to an older clientele. That's why I tend to see GIT on men aged 30-35+ as well. The comparison to Cool Water is obvious, but I can already see some bigger differences in quality and scents, which are greener and deeper with GIT.

Conclusion: GIT is still one of the most important fragrances for Creed. It is characterized by durability and reliability, just like most of the wearers of this fragrance do. Even today it does not look old-fashioned and is especially suitable for mature men

At that time I was looking for good Aventus alternatives, because Creed downgraded the original more and more and it was simply not worth the called price anymore

During the search one meets relatively fast with names like Zara, Armaf, Rasasi etc.
Club de Nuit was the Aventus alternative for a while, but was changed to a negative one over time. Therefore uninteresting! br />

I came across Afnan Supremacy by chance and bought it blind. It's tends to be a smoky version of Aventus and still has enough citrus notes to be interesting enough. So if you prefer the smokier versions of Aventus you will be happy here!

Since I prefer the pineapple or fruity notes of the old Aventus Batches, I have to look for another alternative. Perfume Vintage is supposed to be a good place to go, even if for a higher price than Afnan and Co.

Those who know Kilian know that their fragrances are characterized by high performance and durability. Black Phantom stands out from these fragrances, with almost unbelievable durability and radiance!

When I applied the fragrance at the perfumery at noon, it was still perceptible on the skin 8 hours later. On clothes it lasts forever!
Tested on a cotton sweater, where the scent is still clearly noticeable 1 week later. Insanity!

Kilian has created a true "Black Phantom" with the dark fragrances. Only that behind this phantom a true monster is hidden!

That almost sounds like the ideal scent now, doesn't it? Unfortunately not quite....
Black Phantom has the same problem as other Kilian's. The scents are sometimes so intense, even offensive that they can't be used in many different ways.
This further restricts the range of applications of the Black Phantom. It is a fragrance that should only, and I repeat, only be used in winter! At all temperatures well over 10 degrees, I would not get the idea to apply it. But if you really want to attract attention, you can also try it here. Everything at your own risk ;)

For evening occasions in winter it is a good option if you want to stand out. But I can't wear it that often myself, because it can be a pain in the neck due to its intensity. Black Phantom is more of a fragrance that you apply on very specific occasions and then it fits perfectly.

Conclusion: Kilian is special, Kilian is niche, Kilian is different! Correctly dosed and used, this fragrance is unmistakable
