Delicious, but unfortunately cough alert....
When I actually saw today at Penny at the cash register some bottles for sale, I remembered that Daheim still somewhere a Pröbchen ready lay...
With not too high expectations, yet anticipation (I've heard that he should smell like the Ed of Schleck ice cream), I sprayed him then. Immediately I thought to myself, yep, that's right. Yum.
More than ,,yummy'' actually didn't come to my mind. A delicious fragrance, for a good price.
After a few minutes, it struck me: Something is scratching me, I have to cough...have I not drunk enough water? Funny, actually I just had a cup of tea behind me. Ohnein, it's the pink sugar! Scratchy, pungent, yes-directly turgid it sits on my skin...yes, let's wait a bit. *Coughing fit*, my mum from the next room: what's looos?
Okay, I can't take it anymore, it rarely happens, but I just had to wash it off. Soap, water, scrubbing...it's still there! Repeat...still...penetrating. Finally, I can stand it. Whew. Used it a few more times in the kitchen as a room scent, but now gave it away to a friend. Funny how scents I don't like/that my skin doesn't like hold bombproof and scents I love usually evaporate quickly...does anyone else know this?
Not for me, but still reminisced about childhood memories for a few short minutes and thought of the ice cream at the outdoor pool. :-)

As fragile and beautiful as soap bubbles...
one of the Innocente Fragilite. The first nose: It smells like the Aussie shampoo! In my opinion they always smelled like soap bubbles...that always reminded me of the old days when I used to go to the park with my grandpa and make soap bubbles. Hm, well, away from the bubbles...
I immediately noticed that they were bright flowers. White, pure, almost fragile, elegant, restrained, rounded, quiet, soft and fine, like a light veil...but perceptible. In my opinion, the name definitely fits the content. You can really imagine him like a soap bubble that can burst again at any time by touch. Coconut is something I didn't notice at all (maybe very light), but I'm not really a big fan of it either.
I find the fragrance very wearable, light, fine, feminine, a well balanced composition. Not insanely striking and different, but it doesn't always have to be that way. The light soap bubble touch is still there in my nose, but doesn't bother me any further.
Will I get him on my wish list? I don't know. First I'll empty the vial and see if he starts to annoy me, if I find the soap bubble touch annoying and so on...But if he gets on the list, he probably won't be at the top of my "must have" wish list. Really crazy that many people here are undecided in the comments! So far I have not tested any other Chabaud fragrance.
With me, fragrances always take some time. It is very seldom that it happens directly around me, because I am very sensitive and any sting of a note quickly disturbs me or hits me on the stomach
So... it remains exciting :-)

The black velvet dress...
I stand in front of the huge windows in my loft apartment in New York and tug at my black velvety swing dress. Outside it's September, there's a slight cool breeze, but still sunbeams can be seen. Tonight is the premiere of my first own fashion line, inspired by the 50's and I am excited. I put the pearls, which I found in an antique shop, original from the 60s, around my neck and look at myself in the mirror...something is still missing...don't forget the red plain pumps and the pearl earrings matching the necklace! Done. Finally I can relax a bit on my beloved Chesterfield sofa. Super that I decided for the great cherry red, that fits much better in my boutique than the leather brown.
"Miss Camouflage, are you ready yet?" a voice echoes from the airy white hallway with black and white pictures of old Hollywood stars on the wall.
Genevieve, my assistant, what would I do without her!
She comes in and looks me up and down: "But, miss, what do you look like? Full of cat hair!''
"Velvet and cats don't get along so well," I reply laughing
I am standing in front of the mirror so that Genevieve can get started with the lint roll, when suddenly I see on my table a piece of cherry marzipan cake and a cup of lemon liquorice tea.
"Oh Genevieve, you are the best! That's just what I need.'' I shout euphorically. Nerve food for tonight
"But Miss, something is missing! On the way to the pastry shop I came across the new perfumery next door and I just had to stop by...I've found something too, for tonight!'' she says horrified but excited at the same time.
Out of her purse, she pulls out a beautiful, elegant bottle with the cover of a little black one. How gorgeous! I spray it on my wrist and I am surrounded by a small cloud of cherry-marzipan/almond cake and a splash of lemon, but this splash is not fresh, but mixed with liquorice, warm and secure like my tea.
I'm not afraid of tonight anymore
"Oh Genevieve, you are simply the best!

:)

At the end of 2019 I was in Cologne on a visit, there was a 20 percent sale in a perfumery and I finally bought my beloved Chanel Eau Fraiche, in addition I received a sample from Guerlain.
After 8 months(wow, it's been that long!) I finally came to test and what can I say? I like him. Everything described above went through my head...I am the last one who has it with "simply sweet" scents. But this one is not "just sweet. This one is. This slightly smoky, cool, sophisticated, yet mysterious. Yes, I look forward to autumn, when I can sniff my scarf and breathe in the cool air...
For durability, but as you know, everyone is different and everything on my skin is usually volatile, so I am satisfied with my 4-6 hours.

A dewy morning in spring...or also: My first perfume love!
Barefoot, early in the morning in the still damp grass, with the neighbour cat wrapping around his legs in the garden, then sitting in a fluffy cardigan and cuddly socks in the Hollywood swing, watching a good book and a hot cup of tea as more and more sunbeams can be seen...

Flowery, dewy, light, delicate, slightly sparkling & fruity due to the pear, yet interesting and discreetly acidulous due to the black currant. A so-called "ever-goer" whether in the office, in his leisure time, or anywhere else. Unobtrusive and doesn't bother anyone (in my opinion). A beautiful companion in everyday life, for most people probably not especially and not outstanding enough, which (at least for me), does not always have to be.
About 3 years ago, I was able to get hold of a specimen, which at first did not inspire me, because it was too "unspecial" for me. But after some time I noticed that the sample was empty and I appreciated its "uniqueness". I fight a lot with nausea and headaches with fragrances and was simply glad that there was finally one (after eternal searching), which did not produce all this in me, but simply only delicately woven around me. I was (and still am) in love with Lolita! He is like a small, special treasure for me, which I want to protect and which protects me. I don't even have to start from the bottle... a dream! I don't think it's childish despite its apple shape, I would have rather found this would have been hundreds of followers.

The durability is acceptable, I am satisfied with the price. Not forever on the skin, but especially in the hair and neck I find it beautiful. Unfortunately it was taken out of the assortment in almost every drugstore and perfumery...:-( I hope I can get it somewhere still cheap! Oh, did I mention that Lolita was my first perfume to be emptied to the last drop? :-)

I am then further with my thoughts at the spring and at dreaming...
