Blindbuy - does it works?
My answer to the above question: a YES. I must confess that I am a little advertising victim & now and then, (no that's an understatement) more often buy fragrances or generally products that are recommended, by whom & where is up to me. However, with the fragrance appealed to me also the super simple and minimal bottle, I love such a thing. So a few clicks & ordered. Great I find that you get the fragrance with a sample delivered & if you do not like it can easily send back.

The fragrance notes slay one yes literally on the basis of the variety. But to say a few words about the fragrance itself: it is very oriental, but pleasing oriental & can be worn super by both sexes. The scent smells very high quality to me. The rose doesn't bother me at all here this time. It's sweet, resinous, slightly smoky, floral (rose in this case), spicy etc. You can tell it has a lot of facets & that's how I feel about it. It is by no means restrained but also not disturbing. In my environment, he comes very well.

Conclusion for me: a successful blindbuy. :)

Christmas market - we are coming!
This great fragrance I have tested together with a very good friend & our first thoughts, which we expressed directly were the following: "mhh delicious, oh that's good, spices, Christmas, we run through the Christmas market"

And that's exactly how it was. We both agreed that this fragrance falls into the shortlist. My girlfriend said to me, she sees us strolling through the Christmas market & since then I get this image no longer out of sight. Whenever I smell the scent, we are at the Christmas market, walking past various stalls where the scent of spices & anise candy comes towards us & drinking warm mulled wine to warm us up. This year we will hopefully make this a reality & you all know what scent I wear with it ;)

The fragrance is declared as a men's fragrance, but do not understand why, because if this is not unisex, then I do not know.

I personally do not perceive the bergamot at the beginning. Me comes directly a mix of spices with lots of cinnamon & anise. Vanilla gives it a great sweetness and incense gives it that extra something. Meanwhile, I like tobacco in fragrances super gladly, without him something would be missing. More than successful & P/L are unbeatable.

The Battle
I became aware of the fragrance through the dear Leni in a YT video. He should resemble the Herod and I wanted to start a comparison. To give you an insight MY opinion, attached a few juxtapositions:

Herod: starts much more subtle but pleasant, smoother. Tobacco from the beginning to smell out, great sweetness, not too much, vanilla in the base already perceptible at the beginning.

Divine: stronger opening and more synthetic. At the beginning little similarity to Herod, you have to give it a little time. I don't smell tobacco at first, very subtle over time. He is definitely sweeter; in the background I perceive very discreetly the clary sage, spices initially rather in the background, but come with time more to the fore

In a direct comparison, the Herod is definitely the winner. He is simply much better interwoven and individual fragrance notes are better to stand out. Starts very subtle, might like a little more "scream". Towards the end, it gets intensity though. The Divine Vanilla is also very nice when you smell it alone and not in direct comparison, because there it performs worse. He is clearly more synthetic and slightly pungent in the nose, but he has more sweetness which makes him perhaps more appealing to the ladies.

However, I think both are really great fragrances & I love wearing both. :)

Wow, that was fast
... five days ago I smelled him sample and I really liked him! After I have worn him two days, it was clear: I MUST have. And now, he stands in front of me and I'm happy like a little child, so I'll wear it again today, although the weather does not fit absolutely, because here it is 28 degrees and sun. For me, he fits absolutely in the cooler season & thus for the upcoming autumn / winter more than perfect.

About the scent: I get a strong charge of spices and sweetish tobacco, along with the clary sage & the sweetness probably from the honey. It wasn't until I read that hay was listed that I smelled again & if you know the smell well (I sort of grew up on my grandparents farm) you recognize it. Frankincense & sandalwood are recognizable.

The description dry hot desert wind fits it very well, however it has this great spiciness with a super pleasant sweetness that really makes it more than wearable. I think there's something mysterious and dark about it.... It radiates very well, so H+S are more than rated "good".

Now I hope it gets cooler very soon, so I can wear more than one spray. Test it. :)

My cuddly scent
With the current grimy fall weather, you're just so convenient - my cozy scent.

God I was excited to test this fragrance, where the notes had appealed to me so. However, since I do not like marzipan at all I was also afraid that these are too present. Initially, you clearly perceive an almond / marzipan note. But if you wait it out, you get the most beautiful powdery suede note ever. (As in my beloved "Cuir Beluga | Guerlain" ) With tonka and vanilla, it becomes such a soul-flatterer - incredibly beautiful.

When I wear it, it wraps around me like a warming cuddle blanket, making me want to hug myself. To snuggle in beautiful & super sensual, warm, creamy, soft....

Meanwhile, he has so conquered my heart that he is number 1 on my wish list, how good that I have soon birthday & can fulfill myself this wish
