La Piscine
This fragrance inevitably makes a film play in my mind's eye. Already at the first spray arises in my head the image of the legendarily beautiful Romy Schneider in the late sixties classic "the swimming pool", lying by the pool glittering golden in the sun; half bored, almost sluggish by the heavy heat, but with a wild inner fire.
The scent, for me, is also an interesting mix of warmth, heavy and - if you overdo it - headache-generating like the southern French midday sun, and lively, sparkling freshness. According to the fragrance pyramid, I would blame the benzoin/vanilla & pepper/citrus combination for this. For me, the heavy, sweet, warm part is clearly in the foreground, only here and there flashes of fresh, cooling sparks. A great course of the fragrance I do not recognize, with me it only weakens (unfortunately relatively quickly) with time more and more. Too bad that durability and sillage do not have a little more power. The opulent bottle with the glamorous crown, in which the perfume shimmers like liquid gold, is in my view perfectly chosen for this somewhat decadent fragrance

Jeanne is more than a fragrance for me
Jeanne is not just a perfume for me, but a fragrance that will forever remind me of a certain time in my life when it not only accompanied me but also guided me. For my doctoral work at the time, I was at a clinic in a new city and just imagining the upcoming demands of this job gave me heart palpitations and stomach aches for weeks beforehand. Somehow, during the preparation period, I instinctively sought out a new scent that would accompany me into this uncertain future, give me confidence, support, and sustain me. I know it sounds more like I was looking for a psychologist than a perfume, but I also know that I'm sure there are some like-minded people here who understand. Because to me, Jeanne was just that; like a big sister, a mentor, supportive on my first day of work and also to the big challenges. When I sprayed it on, I always felt calm and confident. I find this composition of fresh, early summer berries (I definitely smell raspberry the most intense) with lemon glaze, the light woods and and the delicate florals just makes you happy and exudes a fresh, happy dynamic. But not a loud, over-excited, "Tchaka-Tchaka, you can do it cowboy", but this deep relaxed, confident inner contentment. The scent was also very present for me throughout the day, so besides the pretty bottle, I would absolutely praise the durability and sillage.

Pure life
The fragrance wandered as a blind purchase, due to the current situation, in my virtual shopping basket. From the good Paco I was not a great fan, but the descriptions here at parfumo have made me curious and so I dared - and I must say, I have not regretted it! You probably all know that, the first skeptical spray at a new blind purchase combined with the shock prayer "Please, biiiitte let it not be a dud" (have there unfortunately already so my painful experiences despite dreamlike sounding fragrance pyramids).
I was expecting something along the lines of "Salted Caramel" ice cream or those incredibly addictive pretzel popcorn things with sugar candy icing. In fact, though, the first time I sprayed it, I got a really good dose of pepper - wow, straight off to a brilliant start. I personally love such lively power scents that get you going in the morning like a double espresso. It brings life to the place and energy to the mind. But for delicate flower girls, the peppery charge could possibly be irritating. This is joined by salt and vanilla, which gives the fragrance the warm undertone already described here without letting it drift into a sweet cuddly scent. I find this blend exceedingly successful and am very happy with this purchase. It makes you feel like you're on the coast of Crete in the middle of the roaring ocean, even in the deep snow of February, or directly in Olympus. Absolute recommendation - also in terms of durability and sillage - especially at the price.

Like the beautiful daughter of a stunning icon
Every avid tabloid reader knows the pretty, and famous for their euphonious name alone, daughters of the rich and super-beautiful. Visual masterpieces that are met with expectations that all too often are not (or cannot) be fulfilled. Such a candidate for me is Alien Fusion. A beautiful looking bottle, a work of art - like a red diamond. In addition, these expectations due to the famous mother - Alien. Some love Alien, some hate Alien, but everyone knows Alien. It's unique. Alien Fusion, unfortunately, is not. The fragrance is beautiful, no question about it, it also carries the Alien DNA. But other than that, it's nothing strikingly great for me. I ordered the fragrance blind based on the top notes: Cinnamon and Ginger. But neither of those scents are present in the room for me at any time. It's more of a small, quiet alien with a nice vanilla note for me. But a big star that fills the room it is not for me. The longevity and vibrancy of the scent are also rather medium-moderate for me. But at least purely optically a beautiful piece of jewelry.

Revenge is sweet
Whenever I see this bottle, I can't help but think of an office war in which I myself was no angel. Fortunately, a long time ago I once had the dubious honor of sharing an office space with a nasty colleague with whom I had a deep mutual dislike. Without going into the endless episodes of this annoying catfight, which made me uncomfortable every morning, at some point all the nastiness was exchanged and it was time for more subtle games on the bitch keyboard.
Since an innocent-looking sample with the name "Angel", which was enclosed in my perfumery order, came extremely handy. When testing I recognized directly the potential and sprayed me the next morning in front of the office building generously with it. The colleague who had been in "I'm punishing you with icy ignorance" mode for some time came into the office in the morning and couldn't help but break her self-imposed vow of silence and greet me with a disgusted "Bah, do you have a new perfume or what?". Like an angel, I looked up from my files and innocently fluted "Hm no, why?". "Then I guess someone forgot to take out the trash! There's something rotting in here!" she hissed.
Despite all my differences with this lady, I can't entirely disagree with her on this one. The scent's opening, at least on my skin, does indeed evoke a provocative mix of fermented citrus, overripe melons, animalic notes and rotting earth. A liquid compost heap in the sun with an insane punch and potential to trigger headaches and more in sensitive people. At this stage, however, it is completely pointless to try to free yourself from this scent, even showers it easily withstands and has an incredible staying power. After some time, it then miraculously changes and shows its gourmand creamy side as vanilla and chocolate emerge. Still, it remains a bulky, massive scent that makes a statement and - at least if you don't really dose it very very carefully - keeps others at bay. Today I had an Angel sample in my order after ages and I'm sticking with it. This is nothing for blond-haired cake-baking innocent angels, but a beast with claws, even if the bottle and the name rather promise the former.
