...and these are very strong memories of a very cheap perfume I owned a few years ago.
At that time it cost me less than 10 Euro, rather even just over 5 Euro. I bought it in a junk shop, in one where one should not actually buy perfume. But I did...
It may sound a bit harsh and superficial, but I was relatively quick to label this perfume as cheap back then, and therefore used it so rarely that I had to "give it away" at some point, as I could no longer tolerate it in my environment - the quotation marks because I put it on a public glass garbage container for free, so there was at least a theoretical chance that the neglected bottle might end up in the hands of a happy owner after all. Because the fragrance was quite good (otherwise I wouldn't have bought it) and too good to throw away, but I really didn't want it in my collection anymore either.

Why am I telling you all this? Because in my nose Reflection Man smells exactly like this cozy but very racy scent I bought in a cheap store in Mainz a few years ago. Of course, there's no other way than to project this totally superficial and not very rational value judgement against the cheap perfume quasi unconsciously onto the cute magic sumptuous Amouage. I.e. in my nose I do not smell the
>200 Euro expensive niche perfume, but the 2,50 DM expensive plastic water from that time (for further discussion about the sense and nonsense of brand values and about the power of marketing you can fill books, so I leave it at this point).

But let's get back to the scent itself, because that's what this is all about.

Reflection Man smells quite good and lasts very long at least on my clothes (on my skin less than 2 hours, which I find really embarrassing considering the price). However, regardless of the trauma I mentioned above, RM is nothing more than an okay scent

So I can't help but give the fragrance a 7.5 and wonder why it is so hyped in the local reviews and in the videos of well-known YouTuber.

I therefore recommend that everyone test Reflection Man and not make a blind purchase - according to the motto, expensive must be good. Because about the quality of this brew every man should reflect for himself ...maybe therefore the name.

First of all, I think that this unisex fragrance is worthy of its kind and can be worn by both sexes, but in my eyes it suits women a little better
After the many good evaluations here, I absolutely wanted to test it and lo and behold, the Rossmann of my confidence carries this scent. At the very bottom of the lowest shelf, but at least for a ridiculous price of about 20 Euro.
I am glad to be able to test the fragrance in this way, as I would probably have been a little annoyed about a bottling afterwards. The scent is really fresh and special in its own way. It also lasts - at least on my skin - for about 6-8 hours, which is really good considering the price range. So the freshness lasts for a longer period of time, although the special quality of the top note is quickly lost.
Because of these aspects the Vintage 78 is really a small treasure, which should be opened by every treasure hunter.
However - and that's why I would have been annoyed about a paid bottling - I rather associate a pretty woman between 20 and 35 with this fragrance. For a man, the fragrance is a mini touch too feminine for me. Maybe 5%.
Now, of course, this assessment is absolutely subjective and may be due to the scent of the women that have become engrained in my episodic memory. Therefore, I recommend that every male fragrance lover presses a button on the bell of the nearest Rossmann perfume counter to try this really pleasant fragrance for themselves.

Therefore I can hardly understand the bad evaluation. From the first time I tested it in a perfumery in Rome, I knew that this was my fragrance. And so it was bought shortly after and since then I wear it regularly during the warm seasons.
It reminds me very much of Frapin L'Humaniste, who again has a better performance and stands out more clearly.
Nevertheless, a great scent and highly recommended for all who like it fresh, citrusy and a little bit spicy.
An evergreen for me!
