I have to get out, but stay with me!
A fragrance that can certainly inspire controversy and does not always deserve its rating.

When I first put Richwood on, I was definitely surprised, not to say disappointed.
I was looking forward to a classy sandalwood bomb of the usual Xerjoff quality, but what I got smelled to me at first like rosy, feminine monotony that I feared might drift too much towards old woman.

I spent the rest of the evening at home and could not perceive any great change that could have made me feel positive, while the fragrance became more and more skin-deep - a pity.

A day later, however, I wanted to go out on a slightly rainy, in contrast to the days before warmer evening, to do a few more errands and since the fragrance was still handy, I applied it expectantly, just to have something on it at all in my hurry.

5 minutes later, as I opened the door and the first refreshing cool breath of steadily warming winter air caught me, Richwood also met me for the first time.

There it was, the wood I had hoped for. Or was it? Richwood is playing with me.
Along the way, scents keep coming my way, loving and yet warring.
It's like the change of seasons, when one doesn't want to leave yet, even though the other is already there.
A play of light and shadow that actually want to displace each other, but together still create something uniquely beautiful.
The "hoped for wood" smells in one moment already almost like whiskey, in the other moment already again after rose and iris, which then again decay through patchouli to earth.

It leaves me again and again, but still remains with me in a nostalgic way.
What are you doing to me?

Your beauty goes too fast, you will never arrive, but the thoughts remain.

Summer in different.
First of all: Ultra Zest is my favourite summer/spring scent besides Annayake Tomo Vetiver.

How the sometimes extremely negative comments came about is difficult to explain to me and I am glad that I more or less by chance received a sample and approached the fragrance without prejudice.

According to my nose, Ultra Zest is not a 0815 summer scent like so many others and I think it is very difficult to create a really prominent summer scent because the scent components associated with the warmer seasons, such as fruit and aquatic, hardly allow for uniqueness.
But in my opinion Ultra Zest manages this best without deviating from the summery flair and somehow getting too fancy.
It is a very pleasing scent, which in my environment has never been used for nasal trunks, but has only led to positive feedback.

Yes, the grapefruit/orange is the leading horse all the time, but unlike Acqua di Parma fragrances, for example, it is less creamy but rather very masculine and can be described as electrifying.
A light shower note can be sensed in the background, which by no means looks cheap and perfectly underlines the fruity effervescence and brings freshness.
Durability is okay and the projection is really good for a summer scent!
It is a real summerPARFUME and not a summer scent, which resembles more a deodorant in scent and projection, as unfortunately too often.

I can recommend everyone to give this fragrance a chance
It's a great pity it's no longer in production.

Come on, rum
Got a sample from a hiking package and think the scent deserves a rating:

Definitely starts with a very tasty warm cola note, which is almost gourmand.
After a short time it moves into the background and is replaced by dark woods paired with rum, which also flood very warm and want to take you in their arms.
The bitter orange remains discreetly in the background all the time and accompanies the woody rum.
I imagine the smell of a massive black, freshly emptied rum barrel standing in a vaulted cellar in dim orange light. In my opinion, however, not a bit pushy, tangy rum, but rather noble and round.

In any case worth a test, who is still looking for a cozy evening scent - especially in autumn and on rainy days I can imagine it well.
Also highly recommended for warmer evenings!

Cherry wood.
If the resin of the cherry tree would be deep red and would smell of its fruits, it would smell of this perfume to me.
Wood and leather that don't want to be intrusive, but want to merge with you.
It embraces me, warms me and loves me.
I'm home.

The first.
..fragrance I bought in the store after I signed up here.
Was looking for a summer/spring fragrance and wasn't disappointed! I was still undecided about the deal, but once it dried, I was thrilled!
The wonderfully citric top note, however, disappears quite quickly.
