Prada Luna Rossa - A designer perfume line that for me yet positively stands out between all the designers. Ober the classic Luna Rossa or the (even better) Luna Rossa Black. All really good fragrances. With the Olfactories line, Prada has also crowned its fragrance assortment. I could test so far so some and since then it means for me consistently quality and above all also a certain Uniqueness, if Prada stands on the flacon.

So I was looking forward to the sample of the Luna Rossa Ocean.
Hardly sprayed on, set but quite quickly the disappointment. Have they perhaps confused the sample? Probably not.

Imagine the fragrance so: You go to the local drugstore, grab any men's shaving lotion (Let's go with the cheaper one) and... Well, period.

Or better yet. Invite your buddy's buddy you don't know to your birthday. You get a scent as a gift. Unfortunately, that's exactly what this little water smells like: Petty, impersonal, utterly interchangeable and boring.

I would like to start by no means a Verriss, but I am but very strongly disappointed that Prada offers such a fragrance here, which smells like every 2nd men's fragrance. Unfortunately, it does not need in this world another 0815 shaving water shower gel fragrance which is just massively advertised there. Since also the new special Synthetische formula helps nothing.

Stands Prada on it - but this one wanted to be certainly none. Too bad. My wife commented on this fragrance then by the way unasked with: Nee, go you shower?

That feeling of sneaking in, taking it, "drizzling" it in, going out there and thinking you're the king of the party.

That feeling is back. I bought this pink bottle for a paltry 15 euros in the drugstore. Arrived at home took place with the first spray a trip back in time. It catapulted me straight back 13 years to the time when everything was easy, when ego was bigger than life experience, when every day of the weekend was a borderline experience, when my father was still around. 15 euros for tangible memories of the best time of life.

Regardless of my personal experience with him a great, at the time very daring, revolutionary fragrance that still stands out from the other drugstore fragrances.
I still find it insanely delicious today. Timeless classic with a book of memories!

Yes, I also wanted to test this "Parföng" because of this video of the well known streamer. It must be something special

So I choked on a few ml and tried it on yesterday. It was clearly too daring for my work (phew, right decision), because the radiance of the perfume is perverse. Not in the negative sense, pervertedly violent simply related to H/S. One sprayer and I have the feeling, everyone in my state smells me. Whether this is advantageous or not, everyone has to decide for himself on the occasion. For everyone else: Careful, and I mean careful dosing!

The scent immediately suggests oud. Cleanly balanced but clearly oud-laden. The raspberry is definitely not a sweet raspberry, it's more of a blackberry or currant to me at some distance, but the perfectly balanced oud-incense mix is very dominant. The whole thing is pleasantly tart.

For me finally an oud smell, which I do not associate with old gentlemen.

Whether the "Parföng" is really the non-plus-ultra, as the said video suggests?
Not for me. I have fragrances that I find much better, but I am not a big oud fan either. In terms of quality, this fragrance is of course the very first cream, you notice that immediately. So for oud fans I can only warmly recommend Ombre Nomade.

By the way, I find the "Parföng" absolutely not suitable for unisex use. For me it radiates a cold, sublime, slightly arrogant, powerful masculinity.

Conclusion: I definitely won't buy with the bottle, but I will take the sample out in the right situations and wear it with pleasure

At Jazz Club I was initially enthusiastic. A fragrance that stands out and conveys exactly what it was named after. An old club, Cuban rum lies pleasantly in the air, a leather-booted caballero smoking a cigar. The evening was long and it is around 4 o'clock in the morning. The pool table is still in use, the remaining regulars are happily slurring their words into the alcohol-soaked air. Everyone is in a good mood, there are no problems. There is only the here and now.

A super clear picture of what this fragrance conveys. An absolute character scent. Extraordinary, but extremely pleasant. Exactly my cup of tea.

Unfortunately the owner of the house decided about 2 hours later to air the house. Because around 6 o'clock in the morning there is no more of this scent there.

I got a bottling of this fragrance from my brother along with some other of his favorite scents.
I sprayed all these samples on different notepads to be able to compare their scent and its course. 2 hours later Jazz Club was unfortunately no longer noticeable, while other scents, like Baraonda, had just reached their zenith. What a pity, the scent is so brilliant, H/S unfortunately very needy.

An evening in the orangery, only the high nobility is allowed to sit here. Gilded candlesticks, mahogany tables. The atmosphere is good. In front of the door two cylinder bearers in a baroque coat are smoking a cigar. The smoke does not reach the society inside. The host rolls a golden shimmering oak barrel over the noble floor. The men appreciate this grand gesture with cheers. Massive, crystalline glasses with elaborate decoration are distributed on the nobly set tables.
Everybody knows: Now the noblest drop you can get is served.

It's gonna be a great night. Social gatherings stay together until dawn. High-noble habits become easy conversations. Manners disappear, but it doesn't become vulgar. Nobility remains nobility, and that doesn't change. Tipsy, we go home. It was great. Thanks, Baraonda!


The first scent that completely knocks me out. I have never smelled anything so brilliant, appealing and perfect. Whisky and honey in breathtaking perfection. I am grateful to have a bottle of it now
